Gender equality

In the present, there are many people around the world who protest about gender inequality because they see that gender equality is the right of human being so, every gender should be equality. Many people see that most of women are the people who stand out for fighting the right; however, the reality of gender equality, is a matter of all human beings, all genders, all ages and for everyone because everyone has to have right in the society. Gender equality is when people of all genders have equal right, responsibility and opportunity. Moreover, gender inequality affects men, women and transgender as well. Therefore, I will explain these things followed by how different gender equality between the past and the present, the way to solve gender inequality and how gender inequality will affect Thailand if this problem are not solved.

In the past, there were just two gender- female and male. Female had to be under the male and they had no right to do anything. Female was forced by their parents to marry since they had young age and the man who they married with was the man that their parents had provided for them. They had no choice to choose the man to marry. After they got married, they had to serve their husband, take care of her baby, had to do all the house chore. They had to obey their husband and follow him. Moreover, they could not study because in the past the people gave man to study and the women had to get married and do the house chore so, female could not study. On the other hands, male had right to do anything, they had the right to study, had the right to be the leader and they also can have wife more than one. In the present, there are many genders as we call LGBT+ and the female has more right to do the thing and has more freedom. The women are not forced to marry by their parents anymore and they find the man by themselves. About the house chore, the man also has to do the house chore as women. Now, the women don’t just stay home, take care of their children and do house chore, they work out and find money by themselves. And now women can be the head of family and can be the leader in society. In addition, they have right to study and can study same as the men. For the LGBT+, they also stand out to ask the equality for them because some part of the country, they don’t accept the LGBT+ and look down on them. Nonetheless, some country, they accept the LGBT+ and give the equality to them.

There are many ways to solve gender inequality. For example, changing laws and social management systems to drive gender equality go forward and including changing the cultural that makes us feel inequality such as, the women have to stay home, do the house work and take care of their children. Therefore, we can change this culture or not follow this rule and break out this rule for our equality and also look back at our homes and our lives and begin to change from there. Furthermore, when recruiting someone to work in our company, we should support in every gender, do not focus on the gender and do not separate the gender because every gender is equality.

If we do not solve this problem, of course it will affect Thailand. It will make Thailand doesn’t develop and have no happiness. It will make women still work hard, have no right to do anything, have no voice in society and don’t have knowledge because they can not study. The group of LGBT+ will be insulted by many people and they don’t have any right in society. Thus, if we do not solve this problem, it will affect our country in many ways.

 In the conclusion, we can see that every country has gender inequality. Gender equality in the past is different from the present because in the past, it has gender inequality more that in the present. In the present, there are many people stand out to asking their right and their equality in society because every gender is equality and every gender should not be insulted and overlooked. The last I would like to say that gender equality is the first door that opens to the next door of another equality and gender equality is the right of human being.
