A. CONNECTING DOTS

‘A STRAY CAT’

A cat full of dots,

sparkling hunger eyes

 in the darkness

loss pathways.

Hunting for food,

A Sharp knife in her hands

Sniffing bubbled fried chicken

A fatty rat across.

Small feet run,

 but the murderer keeps hunting him.

Floors full of ketchup

Giant full of dots were satisfied.

WRITING THE FAMILIAR

Sa kada usa natu adunay tagsa-tagsang dalan nga agian, adunay lisud kaayu nga dalan daghang bato ang nag-ali og lubaong. Peru bisag napuno sa lubaong ang akong agianan padayun ko sa paglakaw padulong sa kinalampusan niini. Gi antos naku tanang kasakit og pagsulay nga niagi sa akong kinabuhi kay nagatuo ako nga ugma damlag malampusan ni naku tanang kasakit nga pagsuway sa akong kinabuhi. Sa akong pagpaningkamot nakab-ut naku ang kalampusan nga akong gipangadoy. Nahimu ako usa ka mangtutudlo sa usa ka pampublikong eskuylahan dinhi sa sugbo. Mao akong tambag sa mga kabantaunan, padayun kamu sa pagpangandoy kay mao kana ang hinungdan nganung anaa ka nagpabiling nakabarog para sa imung mga pangandoy sa kinabuhi.

            When I was graduated in College it feels like I am on a cloud nine not knowing that the true battle has been begun I thought I will be free in all because in my mind school are done I can do whatever I wanted. Life has begun after graduation; I need to find a job to support my family. Finding a job are not a joke I realize that making money is not easy. Unlike school days only the lessons and assignments are my problem. Now I am adult I need to act an adult, I experienced my mothers’ battle in life therefore I conclude the reality of what is life.

“Circle of Life”

A night walking on fairytale forest,

Water falls down,

Green lighting trees

Breathtaking views

Crumpled feelings temporarily flushes away

Feel the wind in your hair

Smell the freshness of the wind

See the beauty, a lovely night to remember

Rings upside and down

with a water falls down

still walking on the rings

watching the lady beetles in a busy road

Nature gives us many things

provides butterfly with its wings

beautiful, just like a dream

gives us awesome things, as sweet as candy

Green! Green! Narra trees

The wonder of wonder anyone has been seen

So cool, calm and full of life

Makes us forget all our strife

“Darkness Moonlight”

I shout and scream in the

middle of the night,

No one hears my hoarse voice!

Tears drop by! Tears are fallen!

Walking on a curvy path road,

A lot of thorns are in ways!

I hear a voice whispering my ears,

step back! step back! I saw darkness.

This is insane! Help! Help me!

No one hears me,

I walk through and grab a stick

Cane stick and shield are in my hands.

Tears drop by! Tears are fallen!

No one hears my hoarse voice!

Again a tiny voice whispering,

the darkness! the darkness!

I can see eyes watching!

But no one hears my hoarse voice!

Step back! Step Back!

A tiny voice whispering!

Walking on a curvy path road,

I can see! I can see a moonlight!

There’s a moonlight,

Lightning my ways!

Shiny shimmering moonlight,

Guided me through the middle

of the night.
