(Pt2) he hurt me like no other but I could never stop thinking about him, couple weeks later I started going on dates with the guy who is now my bf of 8months. I'm in love with the way he treats me and the way he loves me, but I came to realize I'm not in love with him, I don't get butterflies around him, Sometimes I even forget I'm in a relationship. I don't understand what I want because if I let him go I feel like I'll miss him. And I still think about my first love,

You feel like this because 1 he was your first love & your first love is always the hardest heart break to over come & 2 you’re still hurting, 3 you never got closure & 4 you jumped into a whole new relationship within weeks after your break up so you carried all that baggage from your last relationship into this new relationship, you should have given yourself time to mend your broken heart & let go of your ex before you decided to take on something new & not getting closure definitely make you feel like their might be something still there cause you never got that “it’s really over” ending…you can’t give all of you to the guy you’re with now because a part of you is still with your ex but you have to realize whether you got closure or not that it’s over & accept that so you can move forward & appreciate & enjoy the relationship you’re in now but in order to do that do you feel like you need space? Because it can be tough to do while in a relationship, what is worth more to you, holding onto this relationship you’re in now or holding onto the past?? Do you really wanna let someone you claim hurt you so bad hinder your happiness?
