re: last reblog. I initially put part of this in the tags but I don’t want to subject OP to this. I genuinely think that post perfectly summarizes benrey & encapsulates why benrey ‘more stupid jokes than substance’ hlvrai appeals to me as a character even still after all this time. the stupid humor against the sheer dread of death/the finality of the game & the mundane despair of a day job. just the most meaningless bs in moments that are meant to be tonally dramatic. the catharticism of it all

Information hurts me. It doesn’t make sense and when it’s on the screen in front of me it gets shot through my cells and gives me cancer in the poontang. This is what I tell my clients when we’re sitting at a listing presentation, I hand them these charts with statistic and shit and colors on it and soemtimes a bit of blood, and I tell them this and they feel so bad for me, so they start to rub my shoulders and I say, I says to them, yeah the other broker might sell your home for an extra 20% of comps because the markets hot as a dock workers armpit, but is he gonna suck your dick? Is he gonna tongue the slit? Is he gonna watch your wife die in your arms and tell you it’s gonna be ok? Well, he might. But I got a copy of all the right moves 1983, and you can clearly see the silhouette of Tom cruises penis in it. Yeah. Does mr. Money bag realtor have that? No. He’s gotta stream it. I have at least three copies across multiple video platforms. We’re talking Blu-ray we’re talking super 8. Are you going to hurt me now?
