This is taken downtown. It’s of the Massullo’s Dry Cleaners building. I’ve tried to get the same shot before but this one seemed more like what I was trying to get. It’s only very occasionally, but I sometimes taking getting an image seriously.

Normally, I look at running my AC unit like eating a piece of fudge. But this past week in LA has felt like the first stage of the apocalypse, so I’ve been cranking the hell out of it. The problem is it’s located on the floor, so only my knees get (slightly) cold. The other problem is I have to run it for at least 5 hours before my knees get (slightly) cold. 

So I don’t even really have an AC unit. I do have a small box that doubles my utility bill each month.

This moment is so powerful especially considering the beginning of the film. The air conditioner holds a grudge against the rest of the characters because the master was never able to reach him and nearly destroys himself when he’s confronted about it. But at the end of the film we find out that just because he couldn’t reach him, doesn’t mean the master didn’t appreciate him. The master always cared.
