  La traite des personnes est pas un jeu, et encore moins quand il vient à un enfant. Malheureusement, cette problème n'a rien de nouveau, des pays comme l'Inde, le Mexique et le Moyen-Orient sont un point stratégique pour le mener à bien, une action immédiate est nécessaire. 

  Au sein du comité « Commission des droits de l'homme » une problème de grande importance est arrivée quand il était le thème B, la traite des enfants. Il a trouvé  la délégation du Mexique coupable pour avoir un de leurs camions avec des filles au Saudi Arabia en l’Inde, de toute évidence pour la prostitution. Les pays du Brésil et le Royaume-Uni ont mis en garde que si l'Inde ne prend pas des mesures immédiates suivantes, ils vont intervenir. 

  Divers aspects ont été pris en compte, punir les coupables, l'application de plans susmentionnés, des frontières sûres, les fonds monétaires, des abris et des maisons pour les enfants, des maisons d'éducation, entre autres. 

  Les délégations ont discuté qu`il était très important de faire des recherches approfondies pour trouver les coupables, le Mexique a déclaré qu`il sanctionnerá et punirá les auteurs de cette problème. Bien que le Canada et le Panama ont appuyé le plan d'action et le protocole, discuté lors des sessions précédentes. Le pays de l'Inde a déclaré que tout est résolu, manquant seulement trouver la source du problème. 

  En fin de compte, il est prévu de suivre la question et d'éliminer de telles situations, autant que possible, car comme mentionné précédemment, il est tout simplement sur violation des droits de l'homme, il doit être résolu.

La traite des enfants

Nous sommes dans des moments difficiles, quand on parle de la traite des personnes Qu`est ce-que vous pensez?, de la prostitution, la violence, l'exploitation, l'esclavage, la torture et la mort enfin. Maintenant, il faut imaginer tout cela dans un enfant, c'est l'un des problèmes les plus horribles qui peuvent se produire. 

  Au sein du comité « Commission des droits de l'homme » avec le thème B, la traite des mineurs. Les délégations ont procédé à donner des solutions et propositions possibles pour mettre un terme à cette situation odieuse. 

  Selon la proposition de mettre en œuvre la sécurité dans les frontières de chaque pays, ce point est important parce que vous devez savoir que les frontières sont des lieux stratégiques en matière de traite des enfants, être enlevés et les enfants privés de leur liberté, ils passent à travers les frontières à transférer à l'endroit où ils seront exploités. 

Punir les coupables est quelque chose qui doit simplement être appliquée par nature, de préférence l'emprisonnement étant la meilleure façon, comme essayer d'extorquer toutes les informations possibles pour atteindre des alliés potentiels et aller éradiquer ce. 

  La création de foyers d'accueil ou des refuges pour les enfants en situation de vulnérabilité est un excellent moyen de fournir un soutien psychologique et émotionnel aux victimes, mais ils doivent être bien surveillés car ils peuvent tomber dans le traitement des personnes mal intentionnées, il serait également tout en fournissant ces ménages avec le soutien pédagogique et financier (en termes d'argent pour acheter des vêtements et / nourriture). 

  Il y devez également faire des recherches approfondies sur les origines de la traite des enfants, en particulier parce que si le cœur du problème est attaqué, il y aura un plus grand impact et l'effet dans la résolution de la situation. 

  Les pays continueront à discuter et parvenir à un accord bientôt.

DECLARACIONES DE EGIPTO ACERCA DE LA DISCUSIÓN INTERNA EN EL COMITÉ ACNUR.

Durante las primeras sesiones del comité ACNUR hubo algunas claras discusiones por parte de las delegaciones de Siria e Iraq en las que delegaciones como Egipto decidieron participar activamente tomando una posición hacia una de las delegaciones en conflicto, es por ello que se decidió entrevistar a la delegación de egipto preguntando de primera instancia cúal es su posición ante el tópico que se está tratando, es decir violencia física y psicológica hacia los refugiados. A lo que la delegación respondió que Egipto se encuentra a favor de erradicar el acoso y abuso sexual en los refugiados.

La segunda pregunta fue si está de acuerdo en tratar el problema dentro de Siria, tal como se comentó en la sesión, a lo que contestó que está de acuerdo en ayudar a la delegación de siria como se pueda debido a que es la nación de donde provienen la mayoría de los refugiados pero no le parece correcto meterse a su país a tomar decisiones que no le corresponden a ninguna delegación más que a la de Siria.

ENTREVISTA A LA DELEGACIÓN DE ITALIA (ACNUR)

Durante las sesiones respecto a el tema de los migrantes y refugiados se notó muy participativa y atenta a la delegación de Italia, por lo que se le pidió una entrevista acerca de su tópico a la cual la delegación accedió de inmediato. La primera pregunta fue: ¿Por qué cree la delegación de Italia que es importante tratar el tópico sobre la violencia en contra de los refugiados? a lo que la delegación respondió que llegar a una resolución definiría el destino de los migrantes, así como también comentó que gracias a una buena conclusión llegaron al acuerdo de repartir a los migrantes entre las naciones presentes, finalmente agregó la importancia de que cada una de las delegaciones establezca condiciones para que sean aceptados sin ningún problema.

Como segunda y última pregunta se añadió un poco de lo que se estaba viviendo dentro de la sesión apenas transcurrida. Se preguntó si la delegación de Italia estaba de acuerdo con Iraq en eliminar el problema de raíz modificando los ideales de Siria. Italia respondió que no estaba de acuerdo en lo absoluto debido a que cree incorrecto meterse en asuntos de otro país, los cuales no le corresponden a la delegación de Iraq. Finalmente añadió que cada país es diferente y a cada nación le funciona un sistema distinto para mantener el equilibrio social, e intentar cambiar la política y creencias de un país a la delegación de Italia le parece un argumento vacío y fuera de lugar dentro del comité.

Comportamiento de la delegación de India ante la crítica de su Sistema de Castas

Para entender la actitud de India ante la presión de muchos de los países de la Asamblea General de la ONU, se debe entender que, las clases sociales existen en todos los países, pero en la India, además de las clases sociales existen las castas. En ellas, la población tiende a permanecer separados del resto por motivos religiosos, raciales o de otro tipo.(Sistema de castas en la India, s.f.)

Conociendo esto, sabemos por qué es que india actuó de esa manera ante la presión de las demás delegaciones en la Asamblea General, ya que no es fácil cambiar ese sistema, sino que es un sistema que ha estado desde hace mucho tiempo y que además involucra temas religiosos; por lo que debe de haber otras maneras de erradicar la discriminación y racismo en este país, que deben tomar en cuenta la situación de India.

La discriminación en Estados Unidos

Estados Unidos fue confrontado por España en la Asamblea General del Modelo de Naciones Unidas, debido a que en Norteamérica se sufre una gran discriminación racial hacia los migrantes mexicanos y/o latinoamericanos, además de la gente que tiene creencias árabes; dichos migrantes que habitan en su país, están en riesgo de ser víctimas de formas de violencia más fuertes; a lo que la delegación de Estados Unidos caso omiso a ese comentario.

Se sabe que Estados Unidos es uno de los países que más recibe migrantes de todas partes del mundo, pero hay ciertas razas que son discriminadas por ser de cierto lugar, un ejemplo de ello es el reciente odio hacia los mexicanos debido a los continuos comentarios del presidente Donald J. Trump, los cuales hacen que sus seguidores tomen la postura del mandatario y comiencen a actuar de manera irrespetuosa hacia mexicanos y latinos en general. Un ejemplo extremista de este odio son los recientes tiroteos en los centros comerciales que atentaban en contra de la comunidad latina.

UNEP: last session

During the last session of the UNEP committee, the second topic on “Actions to successfully reduce wastes in marine ecosystems around the globe” was already discussed. During the session the delegates came to write the draft resolution sheet, and here two blocks were formed led by: Mexico, China, Germany and the US; and on the other side France, Sweden and Switzerland. While the session was unfolding, both sides came to the conclusion of joining sides to achieve a full resolution, in which everyone agreed. Some of the most important points of the final proposal were: international campaigns for the reduction of plastic in the oceans, a monetary fund to support the cause and the implementation of new materials to replace the plastic. Finally all voted in favor, concluding the session, and in turn the model.

Interpol: Solution on both topics

Finally, we arrived at the last session in the Interpol committee, where the delegations, after presenting the solution of the second topic, only conducted Moderated Caucuses to discuss the resolution in depth, pending its approval. Just a few minutes after the end of the session, the resolution on the topic of “Measures to protect vulnerable Communities” was approved. This resolution was sponsored by Russia, United Kingdom, Portugal, United States, among other delegations.

The resolution consisted of different points to eradicate the illicit trafficking of immigrants, including:

The provision of documents for any citizen

Cooperation between countries to find illegal citizens

The implementation of education on the subject

The creation of protection and detection protocols for illegal immigrants

These are just some of the most relevant points of the resolution to which absolutely all countries accepted, and voted in favor, concluding topic B, and in turn the last session of the model.

UNICEF: Sexual discrimination against children

UNICEF, which stands for “United Nations International Children Emergency Fund”, was created in 1946 to provide emergency aid to the children in post-war Europe, afflicted by diseases and famine. In 1953, UNICEF became a permanent organism of the United Nations, and six years later the General Assembly approved the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, focused on the rights to education, healthcare and nutrition. During the MUNGDL 2019, one of the topics discussed by UNICEF was “Measures to be taken to eliminate discrimination against children and their sexual and gender identity”.

What UNICEF intends to do to eradicate sexual discrimination against children is, first, include women openly in all levels of education, since they (women) are the largest group affected by sexual segregation. In third world countries and developing countries the population is not informed about the gap of opportunities between men and women (Igualdad de género, n.d.). Among the actions already taken regarding sexual health and discrimination, an important achievement is the lifetime treatment given to mothers and children with HIV and AIDS. But even with access to treatment and healthcare, there are stigmas and prejudices about sexuality, and children around the world are being discriminated because of their sexual condition, identity or orientation (VIH y Sida, n.d.).

What the delegates must consider in the terms of their Resolution Paper is the contrast among the cultural and social ideologies of their populations before making any statement. It is a substantial factor to keep in mind that is the population who assimilates the measures and integrate them into their daily life, so any resolution that the committee comes to, must adapt to the needs and characteristics of any member country.

A global response to the migration crisis: ACNUR

  The seventh session of the ACNUR was prolific. The delegates passed their resolution for the first topic to eradicate sexual abuse and exploitation of refugee populations in Europe. The Resolution Paper, which included a migrant route monitored by the governments with humanitarian assistance of the ACNUR, psychological evaluation of the workers and volunteers in refugee camps, countries with not enough GDP to contribute by sending volunteers and a better planification on the budget for refugee centers and the evaluation of how long the economic aid is needed and will be provided. With an outstanding result of all the delegations in favour, the Resolution Paper was approved and sent to the Secretariat.

Children hunger and an end to discrimination: UNICEF

In its 5th session, held yesterday, the UNICEF committee finished the caucuses about the first topic by sending the draft of their Resolution Paper to the Secretariat. This included, among many others, the following amendments: To establish a social frame based on equality, tolerance and respect; to address every case of violence against children in an efficient and responsible manner; to create a new education system which will include subjects on sexual diversity, integrated with the moral values previously mentioned. Before closing the session, a few delegates emphasized that the amount of children exposed to malnutrition and famine has done nothing but increased.

G20: President Trump saves American economy

A CNN reporter asked President Trump about his stance on the recession, and Mr. Trump responded with a raise in tariffs to Japan, Russia, the EU and China. As China intervened on Canadian elections and is giving political asylum to Maduro, he deemed a raise in tariffs was the right thing to do. Mr. Trump has also requested to extradite Maduro to the US so he can be judged there.

Then, he was asked about the repercussions of the American economy receding and he claimed that if the US fails, the world fails, so it is important for everyone to help America. South Korea, Saudi Arabia and the US have opened an economic fund to prevent economic recessions such as the one happening right now.

The CNN reporter asked President Trump if he had done anything else to help the economy other than tariffs, and he said that the US is claiming 3 trillion dollars to China because the country stole about 600 million dollars of American intellectual property in the last five years.

CDH: Fastest committee ever

CNN reporter went on to to ask the CDH moderator about the strategies they used to make the committee so efficient. The member of the chair responded that 90% of the time the delegates slow down or speed up a committee’s resolution, they are only there to keep the flow of time. 

Next, he was asked about tips and tricks to better as a chairman, and he responded with getting more and more capacitation and attending more models

Finally, the CNN reporter asked him about dealing with the stress of the crises, and he said that a distinction mark or something other than a gafette would be useful to differentiate between different roles, because sometimes delegates forgot he was a moderator and did not listen to him.

An abuse, a Prince, many victims, a single solution

After the infamous announcement of the sexual abuse of two refugee children perpetrated by the Prince Charles, the ACNUR topic turned to the many avenues that this situation opens, and how those avenues lead to a diverse set of problems which affect not only the victims, but the Royal Family public image and the country’s reputation. Through a moderated caucus, there were differing proposals. Delegations as Brazil, Venezuela and Cuba questioned the immunity of the Royal Family members when it was stated that Prince Charles can not be taken into legal prosecution.

A key factor among this problematic is the response to be given to the harsh situation the victims are going through. A few delegates focused on the aftermath for the country and the general opinion from the global community, whereas the real problem here is the psychological condition of either the victims and the Prince Charles. Doctor Kaysen (2007) says that the reaction from the victims of any form of sexual aggression or abuse not always find help by themselves. External support has to be provided, otherwise, the victim may try to control his or her emotions with alcohol or drugs, or, in the worst of the cases, lead to suicide.

After two unmoderated caucuses, the committee came to a resolution with the following clauses: A public apology from the Prince Charles, legally assisted by the British Congress, to increase the percentage of the donations given to refugee organisations by the Prince Charles, to give psychological help to the Prince Charles and the victims, to prevent any possible offense to refugees with the assistance of the ACNUR on the management of refugee camps.

Prince Charles abuses of two refugees: ACNUR does not want a scandal, but a solution

Today, while the ACNUR delegates worked on their Resolution Paper, they were interrupted by the arrival of the General Secretary. His announcement was overwhelming. During a charity event for Yemen refugee children, the British Prince Charles sexually abused of two young refugees. Immediately, the delegates opened a moderated caucus to find a solution to the problem. The main issues discussed by the delegates were how to help the victims, the possibility of a sanction against Prince Charles and the public repercussions for the Royal Family.

Security council: war is inevitable

Seconds after the alleged Syrian counter-institutional actions were disclosed in the committee, the delegation of the United States of America inadvertently warned on sending US armed troops into Syrian land to seize the weapon factory. The Chinese delegate reiterated on the true dangers of this problematic—weapons inside the factory—and suggested to first inhabilitate said weapons.

  France recalls the true purpose of the committee: to keep peace at all costs. Thus, they only intend to deploy blue helmets in order for weapons to stay away and the conflict to end peacefully. “Armed troops would only worsen the situation by adding militants” the Gaul delegate said. 

  The Royal delegate fully supports US’s armed troops deployment and states the following premises in partial agreement of China and France: the UK cuts economical ties and encourages various nations to do so; immediate interventions by the United Kingdom and America to seize factory; complete prosecution of persons and corporations involved; and the deployment of blue helmets after the military intervention ends to pacify the situation.

Security Council: North Korea is abandoning communism

 One of the last communist bastions on Earth has fallen today. With the aid of the US, UK and France, the DPRK has finally opened its economy through China and Russia to the rest of the world, globalizing its economy one step further and accepting capitalism as the superior ideology.

As a downside, the United States will have to reduce the amount of nuclear weapons they make and demilitarize the yellow sea bordering NK’s west. This is a crucial step to better the world’s economy and bring freedom to everyone.
