An Attempt at Heart Colour Interpretation

This post contains significant spoilers for the game Heart Fragment, Kay's route (Branch 2?) particularly. I recommend only reading more if you have already played through that, as well as some other routes.

As a reminder, above are the traits and the colours associated with them. As some hearts have colours which I have trouble identifying, I will sometimes associate two traits with one colour. I tried to find 5 traits for each heart, but some will have less. I will only focus on colour, and will disregard any patterns or textures that can be found in the hearts.

Also, please note this is all personal interpretation and I'm by no means claiming it is canon. You may also find the percentages to be inaccurate, as the process of measuring was a bit difficult, and it's rather subjective what colours the hearts contain in the first place.

Clive: - Desire: 83% - Growth/Change: 15% - Growth: 2% - Grief(?): <1%

Employee (Smoothie Bar, Sandwood City): - Healing: 29% - Hope: 25% - Instability: 24% - Acceptance: 17% - Courage/Desire: 5%

Gray: - Hope/Healing: 44% - Growth: 22% - Loyalty: 19% - Hope: 9% - Change: 6%

Kay: - Growth: 47% - Growth/Change: 31% - Desire: 17% - Change: 5%

Lana: - Change: 41% - Power: 21% - Growth: 17% - Trust: 14% - Acceptance: 7%

Random Stranger (Xani's School, Sandwood City): - Healing/Loyalty: 56% - Hope: 24% - Instability: 14% - Courage: 4% - Growth/Change: 2% - Grief(?): <1%

Shannon: - Trust: 47% - Healing: 39% - Change: 9% - Growth: 3% - Loyalty: 2%

Teacher (Xani's school, Sandwood City): - Change: 52% - Acceptance: 16% - Healing: 16% - Hope/Healing: 14% - Trust: 2%
