Why did Mona confess? I think I know!

Because of Mona's past mental instability, it would be easy for her to get off. According to the law in Pennsylvania, if a person commits murder (that is not first degree, in this case self defence) and they have been medically diagnosed mentally unstable,  they only have to go into an institution until they are 'stable/ better' and if are made to spend time in prison/ jury, it is significantly reduced. and I'm pretty sure Mona wanted to go back to Radley to get more answers. And if this wasn't the angle she was going for, maybe she was just trying to buy the girls more time to find out who actually did it!

t know if this is also referring to red coat being in the first episode. But If it is applying to that, Alison was in the first episode, and maybe the person spencer saw in the window was cece or red coat with out the coat on? never know..

Nigel was with Jenna at Wilden’s funeral and I’m pretty sure those are Jenna’s glasses on the coffee table. All of this of course makes 0 sense in a classic pll way but

The bunker looks like it could have been used for hazing. You're probably right about the torture thing. I know some frats use to paddle their new pledges. They may have been doing something similar in that bunker.

Good thinking! There were scratches on the door, leading to the idea that someone was locked in there scratching to get out. Or maybe they were being hit, scratching the wall in pain?

I really like your theory about Carla Grunwald. I do have a few things to add though. The bat is actually called a paddle. Paddles are an initiation rite. Meaning you get one when you become a sister of the sorority. The years that are carved into the paddle are the years the sisters joined the sorority. Look out Lara could be the person's nickname because all the panhellenic sororities give their sisters nicknames that have special meanings.

By looking at the bat owned by Carla Grunwald, you can assume that she was prominent in 1958'. A it is written many times. Since this was so long ago, it makes me question what she would have to do with Ali/ Cece as many people thought. After all we do know that Ali got Cece kicked out of college. The only 'Alison' that I saw on there was a girl names Allyson Nelson 61'. There were some weird things written such as 'Look out Lara'. Makes me wonder if the bunker and bat were linked. Maybe she used to take them in there and hit them? Torture them? Don't know if PLL would go that far but you never know. SECRET BUNKER The bunker was infact secret because you couldn't even tell it was there until she got pushed into it. OTHER DOOR WITH SCRATCH MARKS On the opposite side to where Spencer entered the bunker, there is another door. Leading to somewhere. It had scratch marks on it, human because it had 5 nails and was about the height to where you would do it. Also, there was a pink phone, chair, raido and girl magazine that looked fairly newish..

-A listening to 'Dem Bones'

We know that -A was most likely listening to that song because they were looking at 'Emily's' x-rays, but at the start of the show, Aria was saying. Could they be linked?

“That bird was connected to Ali, Ali’s connected to Wilden, Wilden’s connected to your mum (Talking to Hanna) and us.” Could they be linked?

Is it just us, or did Mona get to Dr. Palmer before Toby did? After watching tonight’s episode we noticed the cookie container that Dr. Palmer had was the exact one that Mona had in 3.22 (Will the Circle Be Unbroken?) when Spencer was in Radley.

Seems to us that Ms. Vanderwaal is somehow connected to this and possibly coached the doc. Just a thought ;)

Ashely and her bath?

Did anyone else feel like that was a very unusual scene? At first I thought it was a voice recording because she didn't sound normal, but then we saw her there.But she was acting very vague and creepy, saying sorry to Hanna and then staring at the bath tub, it looked like she was going to kill herself. And the fact that Hanna had a creepy vibe of it also, seeing she was about to go in herself to check if everything was okay, just makes it even more suspicious!

Ali Holding her Breath

I feel like this was a huge hint. Alison was buried alive= suffocation. And ever since she was 5, she has trained her body to go with out oxygen for an extended amount of time. I tries holding my breath as ling as she did and i couldn't do it! But her mum said she would leave her face down on the sidewalk if she fainted. What does this mean? Well if it was ali that was buried, she would have been able to hold her breath for a long time, maybe even long enough to find a way out.

Theory on why Toby joined the -A team?

Originally, those who believed that Toby was on the -A team for reasons that are NOT to hurt the girls, believed he joined to help Aria, Emily, Hanna and most importantly Spencer, or to get answers. But after seeing the flash back of Toby and Alison, and the -A messages he received, I think he joined the -A team to get answers about his mother. By the scene at the end of 4x01, you could assume that the -A team no longer wanted his services but was willing to give him answers if he gave Red coat her lair back. This makes it seem he values what happened to his mum, saving the girls, assuming he knows whats in that lair. How would the -A team know what happened to his mum? Why it would concern the -A team, confuses me, but maybe Alison found out, wrote it in her Diary and then the -A team read it? Also his mum was in radley, meaning it was possibly a mental condition. Any thoughts on what happened?

Direct Answers given from Mona, and what they mean

Assuming we can trust them? - Mona put Wilden's car in Hannas garage, but hadn't seen it since then -Shauna knew Jenna before she came to Rosewood, which confirms that it was Shauna meeting Jenna in the park when she got her vision back, hence the scarf which someone of you may have picked up on, and Shauna might love Jenna, and Jenna might be gay - Shauna and Jenna have a reason to be afraid of Melissa? Maybe she has something on them? Maybe Melissa has done something to make her someone to be scared of?  - Cece visited Mona in radley, possibly aware of the fact that Mona thought she was Alison, and possibly took advantage of that to get information etc. - Either Mona was imagining the girl in the red coat coming to visit or it was Cece: meaning she could be red coat, or she was just wearing red/ or she was impersonating red coat because she knew mona was under the influence of medication. 

-Lucas gave emily the message, meaning he was involved in the -A team for a long time, but he claimed to Hanna that he was only in the -A team because Mona was blackmailing him with school events that happened recently so that was a lie. Which means he was probably involved in the -A team before Halloween  when Ali was still alive. Why did he lie and can we trust him? 

-Toby has been a part of the -A team since he went to Bucks county, WILL BE POSTING LONGER THEORY ON THIS 

-Mona didn't push Ian off the bell tower, and doesn't know how did, this suggests it might not have even be -A who did it (unlikely opinion) or the -A team doesn't share everything they do, maybe as a way to keep their actions a secret in case of consequences if anyone in the -A team was to rebel and spill everything they did. More Theories coming soon, sorry for the length

Ive been waiting to write some theories about season 4 opening episode, until I've watched it several times and completely understand it, also ive been watching the episodes where we found out who did what, thanks to Mona, and have made some connections :) Theories coming soon!

What's your thoughts on wren? Do you think he could be involved in all this?

Well I think he could definatly be involved. I mean he has strong connections, works at Randley, hospital, drinks the same as -A, plus a lot more which I'm sure you've already picked up on. I loved Wrencer,and I would like the think he isn't involved, but I think he his. Maybe involved in either the -A team or what ever is up with Jenna/ Mellisa etc. Or maybe both. X
