So he has FLUTD, feeling lower urinary tract disease. He's had a catheter inserted and it needs to stay there until Thursday. It looks like the catheterization has taken care of the crystal blockage though and from different stores I've heard, as long as I give him prescription urinary tract food, he should be fine for the rest of his life. Fingers crossed!

"Can I touch your tiger?"

Billy yanked his headphones off of his head to see Harrington hovering by the pile of plush stuffed animals. "What?"

"I said, uh... Can I touch your tiger?"

Eight days ago, Harrington had come into the toy store where Billy works asking if they had Clue in stock because his cousin Joey wanted a new board game.

Later when Billy told this to Max, she looked at him with a wrinkle between her eyebrows. "Steve doesn't have a cousin named Joey."

Five days ago, it was Hungry Hungry Hippo that he asked for, claiming to want it for Henderson. "Henderson's a little old for this isn't he?" Billy asked as he bagged the game up.

"He's, like, nostalgic. Or something," Harrington stammered as he left the store.

Yesterday Harrington showed up and didn't buy anything. Didn't ask for anything. He just ... talked. He started asking how Billy was doing, how he liked the store, what the worst concert he'd ever seen was, what his dream car is, just the most random shit.

It was a slow day yesterday. Billy was grateful for it. Because he'd had *fun*. Harrington was fun to talk to, charming with the way he leaned on the counter with one arm and fidgeted with the pen on the counter.

Adorable in the way he smiled, eyes lighting up, blush staining his neck.

Billy thought about it all night last night and thought about what it would be like to kiss Harrington's neck.

He'd hoped Harrington would show up, and here he is, twirling a stuffed tiger between his fingers. He brought it to the register, and Billy started to ring it up. "Who's this one for? Henderson?"

"Nope."

Billy handed the change back and the tiger in a bag. "Cousin Joey?"

"Don't got a cousin Joey," Harrington said. His eyes locked on Billy's, then dropped down to Billy's lips.

Billy's heartbeat rabbited. "You .. you don't?"

"Nope," he said, popping the P. He pressed the stuffed animal to Billy's chest and leaned forward until his lips ghosted across Billy's. "Happy birthday Billy."

The pressure of Harrington's lips on his own made him forget about the tiger as it slid to the counter. Later, he'd place it on his bookshelf, as Harrington watched from his bed.

"Thanks," Billy said when Harrington finally pulled away. "It's perfect."

Welcome back!!! Hopper and Alexei look adorable and cuddly (and so big)

Thank youuuuu! Yep they're big boys now! Hopper is 11lb and Alexei is 12lb. They're almost 2.5 years old. 😍😍😍I love them so so much! They still do love cuddling. I have a new place with stairs and they LOVE playing on the stairs!!

I just re read a couple of my old harringrove ficlets that were reblogged and man did it make me want to write again. I know I owe a couple of fics for Ukraine, and @usstrashbarge wants her Uncle Jack's antiques fic that I promised her ages ago. Maybe those will happen!

I'm doing great! Been consumed by real life. I have a fantastic boyfriend now who I've been dating for 4 months, and I managed to *gasp* get a mortgage! I'm buying my own place! I can hardly believe it, lol, but I close in either 2 or 3 weeks.

Hopper and Alexei turned 2 yesterday 😍 they are such good boys!

Thanks for checking on me ❤️I know I haven't been active in fandom for quite some time but I have all kinds of fond feelings about Harringrove. I miss it like hell, and I love seeing all of the new folks who have stepped in to carry it on.

Like how when I pointed out on Insta that esk*mo is a slur (on a clip where argyle casually uses it in S4 of Stranger Things) and 4 people immediately jumped all over me and accused me of being a crybaby and or defended it. Maybe just listen and learn? Crazy how folks don't take indigenous issues seriously.

People on tumblr love to take indigenous issues out of context when it benefits them lol. "Moving from urban places to rural places isn't colonialism! tourism isn't colonialism!" aww did someone get criticized by the big mean native people. Is the poor baby having trouble seeing how you benefit from the massacre and violent relocation of indigenous people 😢
