Part 7 - Merchandise & Snacks~!

First off, they have a corner for snacks, basically doughnuts and cake in a can.

Bought the cakes, and yup, they're delicious! (Obviously eaten at home, there's no space there to sit and eat)

Next, we have the merch area~! ⤴︎ ε=ε=(ง ˃̶͈̀ᗨ˂̶͈́)۶ ⤴︎

And dammit, the merch area was super crowded! It's so bad that I had to jostle and squeeze just to get to the stuff I want. I spent over 1 hour just trying to look through the goods (and spent another hour queueing to pay). So yea, tip for anyone going to a Japanese exhibition, avoid weekends and public holidays, because the crowds will make you guess your judgement and test your patience.

Part 6 - Futari wa Pretty Cure

After the standees, there is a section specially set aside for the OG, the grandmasters...Futari wa Pretty Cure~!

To enter, you walk through a tunnel that brings you down memory lane...

once again, I apologise for my crappy video skills...

Next, you'll see the wall of info that I totally cannot read...

There's their henshin outfits! Forgot to capture a video for that but the organiser had a projector overhead to project lightning onto the background, as if their henshin costumes are electrically charged. (◕∀◕✿)

There's also other decals and decorations from the series...

...and even more walls of Japanese text (with the occasional English words).

In other words, sugoi!! (◞ꈍ∇ꈍ)◞ :･ﾟ✧

Part 5 - Posters & Standees

After the super emotional video in part 4, there are some promotional posters for their current / upcoming stuff, like Otona Precure.

Next, there is a whole area full of standees, and once again, full of people trying to take pictures of/with said standees.

However, I found it easier to take videos while I crab walk from one side to the other (while being squeezed by people on all sides), so, yay, more posts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Part 4 - Something extra

This is the part where I'm not allowed to take photos. It's the original drafts of all the Pretty Cure seasons, which includes editor's edits and suggestions for the art (in terms of shading, colouring, etc.). However, I did manage to (secretly) take a picture of the tube full of Miracle Light merch over the years.

After this corner was done, I walked past the pièce de résistance of the whole exhibit, the wall of Pretty Cure henshin (transformation). Suffice to say I burst into quiet tears watching, it gave me so much feels. Of course, there was a crowd in front, not only filled with kids and their guardians sitting down in front, but also full of adults like me standing behind them to watch the henshin. The staff had to keep asking people to move.

Unfortunately I couldn't capture any better videos, it was almost closing time and people kept walking into my view. This is something that I strongly recommend you experience yourself, not only because it's the whole history of Pretty Cure, but also, watching it together with other adults who grew up watching Pretty Cure (like me), it's enough to feel connected and emotional (for me at least).
