When you interact, you feed the algorithm. When you interact, the algorithm feeds you more rage and despair. My mental health is a mess and curation is going to be the death of me. I need to let that shit float on by on my feed and not even pause while scrolling.
Some people are learning, organizing, and wasting the trolls' time. Some people are here to face that shit down. I'm proud of you. Keep doing what you want. Just understand why you are seeing more and more of this stuff as your network becomes more and more fixated on certain issues as curation keeps feeding you more of what you engage with or even just pause over while scrolling.
i must not stir the pot. stirring the pot is the notifications-killer. participation in the discourse is the little-death that brings total activity obliteration. i will face the bad opinions on the internet. i will permit them to pass over me and through me. and when they have gone past, i will turn the block button onto their source. where the discourse has come from there will be nothing. only i will remain.
