tonight I had the privilege of hearing a 13 year old explain the terms “cooking” and “cooked” to my 45 year old manager and she said something so excellent I have to document it.

“cooked is bad. cooking is good. you’re either in the pot or you’re holding it.”

But I am perpetually hovering three inches above the strong subconscious belief that everyone knows what they're doing at all times except me, so if you change your normal patterns and I notice, then I will assume it is an intentional choice with a thought-out plan behind it and I will avoid interfering

And if I don't notice, because I won't, because why would I, because not much bothers me and if you don't say anything to indicate you are bothered then how would I KNOW

I know a lot of us watch/listen to a wide range of actual plays and personally I like to keep track of mine. me and my friends call it my dragon hoard and I just updated how I track them bc google sheets has a new feature where it does a punch of organization stuff for you and you just have to customize it. Here’s what it looks like on my phone:

You can color code the drop downs which was the best feature in my opinion since I used to have to move back and forth with my color coding and copy paste. I can add easy notes for why I dropped a campaign. As you can tell I have consumed a lot of actual plays over the last 4 or 5 years so I find it helpful and wanted to share <3
