When Wonder Was Enough
Tumblr media
There was a time when shadows followed me without reason, silent companions that never demanded attention. And I never questioned why they stayed so close—effortless dance that mirrored every step I took, a soft whisper beneath my feet as if the earth itself whispered secrets only I could hear.
Above, the stars were not guides or watchers, but scattered sparks that gently softened the dark night. Their glow was a tender whisper, a soothing lullaby that cradled a dreaming child in a cocoon of quiet light, wrapping the world in a gentle embrace that promised safety and endless possibility.
The horizon stretched wide, always just beyond reach—not a question to puzzle over or a weight to bear, but a hopeful promise—a place to run toward with open arms and a heart full of wonder, where the sky seemed to stretch forever and the world was vast enough to hold every dream. There, joy was simple and enough, filling the air like the sweetest fragrance on a warm breeze.
Back then, life was a rich tapestry woven with laughter and light, each moment a hidden treasure wrapped in surprise and delight. The heavy cloak of knowing—the weight of doubt, fear, and loss—had not yet settled on my shoulders. Instead, I soared on wings made of hope and wonder, lifted by the bright, unspoken magic of freedom and flight.
Now, the shadows I once ignored carry stories too deep and painful to forget, etched with memories that echo softly in the quiet corners of my mind. The stars above murmur truths I’m still learning to understand, their light both comforting and challenging as I navigate the darkness. The horizon pulls me with a steady, soft yearning—a gentle tug at my soul that reminds me of all I’ve lost and all I still hope to find. Yet, despite the weight of these new realities, how I ache for that feather-light joy of before, when wonder alone was the language I spoke, and every breath was filled with the pure magic of simply being.

The Sea's Song
Tumblr media
She is the sea—vast and tender, a melody woven from waves and hues. Cradling life with playful grace, she whispers ancient tales in every ripple. Sometimes serene, sometimes fierce, her secrets lie beneath a shimmering veil, ready to awaken in a storm when her heart stirs.
One day, she met the sky. It greeted her with warm sunlight, softly kissing her waves and making her shimmer with joy. A gentle breeze danced across her restless surface, while soft rain soothed her tides. At times, the sky painted rainbows, and she twirled in delight, reflecting its colors like a lover’s smile.
With every dawn, she awakens longing for him—the boundless dream above. His golden light ignites her shimmer and sway. His soft breezes brush her waves like a lover’s tender caress. His gentle rain soothes her restless spirit.
She adores him—his boundless blues and pinks, his fiery sunsets and quiet stars. His moods ripple through her waves, and she listens, catching every shade of his heart. To her, he is the light that gives her meaning, the horizon she reaches for with every crest.
Their dance is eternal. She cannot breathe without his vastness overhead, and he finds beauty in the way she mirrors his every hue. Her waves reach out, longing to touch him, while his clouds drift softly, wrapping her in a tender embrace.
When storms gather in his sky, she answers with fierce waves, their power born from their deep connection. Wild and free, she sings his name in a song only they understand.
Without him, she would be silent and still—a sea without light or color. Without her, he would be empty and bare—a sky with no reflection. Together, they compose a symphony of life and love—the endless meeting of water and air, heart and soul.
She is the sea, and he is her sky—her endless adoration, her forever home.

A Poem For Her
Tumblr media
In the gentle cradle of dawn’s first light,
She stands, a canvas shaped by plight.
Her scars, soft whispers carved in her skin,
Tell stories of battles fought deep within.
No perfection graces her fragile form,
Her skin a map of sorrow’s claim.
She wears her scars like whispers of time,
Etched on her skin, a silent rhyme.
They murmur of nights where shadows crept,
Of fears that lingered while the world slept.
She hides them away, too afraid to expose,
Fearing they’ll dim the beauty she knows.
Afraid to reveal the treasures she guards,
Fearing these scars may cut too deep.
They echo of anguish, make her heart delay,
Questioning her worth in a world that turns away.
These scars weigh heavy, relentless and raw,
Make her question if she’s ever whole.
They steal her breath, make her afraid to be,
To live, to love, to let wounds heal.
Ah, but she’s trying—trying her best,
Determined to greet each fragile morn.
Through despair’s veil she carves her way,
With courage alight and shadows at bay.
In the rhythm of flaws she learns to dance,
Finding strength in cracks and silent applause.
The mirror reflects what she now can see—
That scars are the beauty in the stories we weave
And maybe today brings a flicker of light,
A moment where joy breaks through the night.
Happiness blooms in the fractures of pain,
A fragile joy she dares to sustain.
So here she stands, imperfect and true,
A spirit ablaze in the darkest night.
She’s trying her best; she’ll find her place—
And maybe she’s happier now, at least for today.

May I Kiss Your Scars?
I see the shadows that linger in your eyes,
Where secrets linger, unspoken pain lies.
You wear your armor, but it’s heavy to bear,
Though words are silent, I feel the weight.
May I kiss your scars, those secrets untold?
Let me be your warmth in the night's cold hold.
In the quiet spaces where your heart feels bare,
I want to be the comfort, the love that you wear.
I know not your battles, nor the storms you’ve braced.
But I long to be the balm that time has replaced.
With gentle intention, let my lips softly trace,
The map of your journey, each mark holds a place.
Let me be the medicine that soothes every ache,
The tender reminder that love’s never fake.
In every caress, let healing unfold,
As I kiss your scars with a love pure and bold.
If you’ll grant me this moment, so pure and sincere,
Let me embrace your heart, holding all that you are dear.
To you, my precious one, may I kiss your scars?
In the warmth of my love, may you forever shine like stars.

She is a flame in the open air, flickering with passion and defiance, refusing to be confined by the expectations of others. With every step she takes, she asserts her independence, weaving through life like a river carving its own course.
With every choice she makes, she carves her own path, unyielding to the constraints of others. Like a comet streaking through the night, she illuminates the darkness with her vibrant spirit, leaving trails of inspiration in her wake.

𝘑𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪, born under the sign of Sagittarius on November 24, 2001, first drew breath in the luminous cityscape of Singapore but found her roots in the vibrant embrace of Jakarta. A Sagittarius with a soul ignited by the fire of independence, she carries the essence of two worlds—Singapore’s cosmopolitan glow and Jakarta’s kaleidoscopic dawns. Like a restless traveler chasing horizons, her spirit is painted with the hues of adventure, forever seeking paths only she can carve.
With a heart as wild as tropical winds, she embodies the freedom she cherishes—a restless spirit, untamed and strong. In her eyes shines the glow of sunsets, reflecting passion and purpose. She moves like an artist crafting her story, leaving traces of courage with every step. Unafraid of the unknown, she embraces life boldly, her laughter mingling with the wind—a reminder that true freedom lies in chasing the horizon.
Her mother is her anchor and her wings—a kindred spirit who shares Jeraldine's love for freedom and self-expression. Together, they are like two wildflowers thriving in the open fields, their bond nurtured by understanding and mutual respect. Her mother’s influence has shaped her into the fiercely independent woman she is today, allowing her imagination to flourish like wildflowers in a sunlit meadow.
In stark contrast stands her father—the rigid lines of her father's world offer Jeraldine no solace. While her sister effortlessly steps into the role of "daddy's girl," Jeraldine does not fit into the mold he envisions. Instead, she is a comet blazing across the night sky, unrestrained and unapologetic. She remains a solitary star in his constellation, a planet drawn to a different orbit.
With an imagination that dances like fireflies at dusk, her mind is a canvas of endless creativity. She sees beauty where others see chaos and opportunity where others see barriers. Her thoughts are vivid strokes of color, painting a life that is uniquely hers.
𝘑𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦; she is a living testament to the power of independence and self-expression.
