this completely goes against my lived experience. my doctor was only able to work with my insurance if they put me as having an “endocrine disorder,” and it’s caused me to avoid experiencing bigotry. I’m not saying my experience is universal, but don’t pretend like it’s not a potential reality.
I know people aren't here for the news, but trans folks, I'm thinking of you tonight and how you deserve better.

you don't actually have to play "the game" if you don't want to. it's weird that that's a rule in the first place, but even if it was, the rules of games still obviously only apply to the people playing them

the purpose of friends is to have people who unconditionally hate your shitty exes & relatives. like maybe YOU have a complex relationship with your father but i sure don't. i'm outside his house with a gun. he's not the unforgivable asshole who raised me he's just an unforgivable asshole

don’t answer this if it’s a weird question or you’re uncomfortable or something like that but like. what’s it like being trans irl because online it seems nice and all but irl the landscape is bleak to say the least and i’m moving next year (to a big city) and was wondering whether it keeps being terrible or what. romantically as well. sorry if this is weird and/or intrusive.
being trans irl is WONDERFUL and it is always worth it

to be fucking honest. i'm starting to view it as a big red flag when queer people don't have the media literacy to tell when a character is making fun of trans women. i'm sorry that man in a dress crossdresser joke is not queer rep it in fact thinks trans women are laughing stocks
