This might be a stretch but CONSIDER: Roguefort in the early days of thievery being caught by a bedridden Pre-Cyborg in the middle of the night while Aloe is possibly asleep or doing research things elsewhere... And the two of them becoming friends because Pre-Borg sees Roguey as not a thief but a possible friend, neither of them have very many friends at this point, and it's rare Pre-Borg gets to see anyone because how often they're stuck healing! It's a pleasant midnight surprise!
