KYUBOK​:

when gold star had told vive they’d be heading back to the states so soon after having visited for the triple fantasy concert, kyubok hadn’t really made any plans of what he wanted to do while in different parts of the united states because he assumed their time for exploring and touristy type things was going to be far too limited to really do anything other than spend time at their hotel. it was still shocking that he and haneul had this time to visit the beach and do whatever they watned for a little bit. 

kyubok nodded in confirmation as haneul brought up the gps systems that were on their phones that would indeed lead them to some type of beach if that’s where they so desired to travel to. “then venice beach it is,” he nodded. that was the one he’d heard of in american movies and shows he thought. hopefully it wouldn’t be too busy for them. “lead the way.”

haneul had made sure to text their manager and get permission to explore, though he was sure their manager would rather come with. haneul had tried his best to try and be convincing; to at least seem that he knew where he was going. when in reality he wasn’t too confident about directions but they had gps on their phone, so at least they wouldn’t get lost.

the worst thing that could happen would be them having to ask for directions.

“ to venice, ” haneul said with a grin, he typed it into the navigation then turned around to try and figure out the right direction to walk, “ it says it’ll be a 20 minute walk but i think that’s if the crosswalks are on our side but it’s not too bad, ” he grins happily over at the older. pointing in the direction that the gps was telling him, “ this way. ”

KYUBOK​:

when kyubok was still young and had the full ambitions of becoming a performer, other than the way to sing and perform for others, another motivation had been to see the world and travel because it was something he probably would never do otherwise. his family really only had enough money for bills and basics, and traveling to another country didn’t exactly fit in that budget ever. so while the traveling was exhausting and kyubok could barely keep track of everything they were doing, the experience wasn’t terrible.

“you want to see the beach?” he clarified, all while trying to remember if he had ever been to the beach himself. he had, when he was very little, visiting a great-aunt where she lived near the coast, but it was a blurry memory as well. “we can go to the beach,” kyubok agreed. “how do we get there?”

their last few days in the us and their last destination on their us showcase was los angeles, he wanted to have some nice memories to remember it by. the beach felt like the perfect place to take a moment and relax. haneul thought the perfect place to do that, the ocean. that was his logic, he hadn’t thought about how he’d get there.

not until kyubok raised the question and it took him a moment, “ ah, ” of course they’d have to get there but how would they get there? neither had been in the us this way before he was sure, all he wanted to do was to see the oceana, “ so, ” haneul ponderede on it for a moment before gently smacking his fist into the palm of his hands.

“ we have navigation in our phones, don’t we? ” he quickly pulls his phone out and opens google maps on it, “ i’m sure if we use this we’ll be able to find a way to the beach.” haneul zoooms out on the map, “ there are two beaches closeish to where we are, dockweiler and venice, though i think venice beach is closer. ”

SOLO: Q3 SCHEDULE SOLO                             ° runaway comeback stage ( mnet ) / wc:459

somehow haneul felt nervous, despite having stood on stage many different times already but this was their comeback stage. it was somewhat special, it would be the first time they were meeting the public through a music channel. this was a song that haneul was proud of, their first performance meant everything. they had finished their rehearsals, everything had gone smoothly it was only the actual performance that was left now. 

standing behind the stage he adjusted the microphone, the set that had been prepared for their comeback looked really nice. ethereal and magical, which was the concept they were going for this time around.

it was time for them to go on stage and haneul, took a deep breath as he stepped onto stage. the lightning was blue ( his favorite color ), it made him feel calm. they turned to the crowd, greeted everyone like they always did before a performance. hearing the crowd cheer for them made him feel more at ease, the confidence in him building as he stood there.

they got into their positions, in a direct line behind kyubok, haneul took a deep breath; in his ear he heard the music start and his body moved on instinct, just like he had practiced for months now. just to make sure everything would be perfect for the comeback. haneul danced with precision when his verse came he delivered it with charm, a playful smile, and a tilt of the head when the camera zoomed in on him.

the performance was going smoothly, he didn’t have the time to pay attention to the other members right now; he knew they would be able to get through it if a mistake happened but he had a feeling that wouldn’t be the case.

siwoo starts the chorus and haneul follows up after him, “ run away, run away, run away with me, ” singing while dancing using his shoulders. while on stage there is nothing in his mind, he performs the song, dancing with his body and making sure to use his facial expressions to deliver the feeling of the lyrics whether he or the members is singing. 

acting is a huge part of the performing was something he’d always thought and it was important to keep the feel of the song, deliver the message properly, regardless who is singing.

the music quiets down, haneul sings his line of the bridge, the delivery is flawless and when the whole performance is over, he runs of stage and watches siwoo finish. a proud smile on his face, as he remembers how much the other struggled with the choreography earlier. siwoo comes down from the stage and haneul makes sure to give him a thumbs up, followed by a wide smile.

“ one stage down, ” he grins cheekily.

" when someone mentions our or my fans, i always think how grateful i am to them. without them i wouldn't be where i am, they voted for me during hot topick and they are continuously supporting us now. which lets us continue standing on stage and i am so grateful towards them. "

" book. recently. i don't think i've had the time to read a book since the year started, before that i honestly can't remember what book i read. it must have been some fiction book. i do remember what the last movie i saw was, it was the last avengers movie. "

" recent wishes, for those that i care about to sleep and eat well. it's a very simple thing but those are some of my wishes, i also wish to be able to spend some time with my friends. my members are my friends but i mean friends i haven't seen in a while. it's nice to be able to catch up. oh i and i want to see my family. "

" being cute? haha, i think i like confidence. so when someone is confidence or confident about something they do, like confidence and passion. that is when they look the most attractive to me, when they are so concentrated and confident about something they like doing. "

" i would most likely be in university now, focusing on my dance major. maybe i would strive to apply to julliard, or some other famous international dance school? since dancing was originally my hobby, i'd most likely be on stage one way or the other and i would most likely be dancing. "

" i would love to be able to play an instrument? i am not sure what instrument i would play, maybe piano? i doubt i would be any good but it seems fun. oh and when i have more time, photography, i'd love to try photography, so i can capture special moments throughout my career, with my members and friends. " what would i want? maybe some time off to spend with my parents? i haven't been able to see them properly all year, so i think that would be nice. to see them for my birthday. it would be a nice surprise, maybe i would cry since it's been so long. who really knows but i miss them. "

" the most recent thing that made me happy... i think that has to be when we got to volunteer at the animal shelter, even if i was exhausted out of my mind. i got to hang out with puppies and kitties, i also saw haon hyung there, which was a nice surprise as well. "

JIHAN​:

Nodding encouragingly, Jihae smiled. “Sorry, I know it’s not really the standard here and stuff. But we’re probably going to see a lot of each other again going forward, so we might as well get comfortable, right?” Sometimes erasing these societal boundaries the way Jihae tried to rubbed people the wrong way and they got why, they did, so seeing Haneul react seemingly positively was a huge relief already.

The festival hadn’t really felt like visiting to Jihae either, truth be told. In part because they’d been too busy sulking about how tired they were and had mainly focused on their assigned activities and actual festival performances, in part because the time they’d had off they’d either napped or spent basking in the bliss of actually having a boyfriend now. Even though them missing out on what the festival could’ve offered was their own doing, it felt reassuring to hear Haneul felt similarly about it. “Where did you go?” they asked, trying not to let it show that the mention of Kyubok’s name still brought on a flood of guilt. Kyubok was fine, clearly, he’d probably moved on a long time before they’d broken up for real. He and Haneul’d had a great time exploring the US. There was literally no reason for Jihae to feel anything other than excitement for Haneul, actually, who they were talking to right now.

“I was always so scared of trainee evaluations,” they admitted with a sheepish chuckle. “Used to get suuuper nervous. And then we debuted and eventually started getting solo stages for performances and I felt silly looking back. But you’ve done it now! And all of the things you’ve learnt on stage you’ll be able to carry onward!” Jihae gently nudged Haneul’s elbow with their own. “You’re already so good, just wait until you really get a hang of it all.”

Jihae sure would love if Origin could go down a more rock-focused path but quite honestly, with how the trajectory of their releases was going none of that was very likely. “I think Charm, Alien and Mars have a few more rock-leaning songs, no? Honestly, if you adapted the instrumentalization I think Mars’ Valkyrie would actually make a great rock song!” Excited to get to slip in a mention of their favourite group, Jihae beamed. “And, well. Then there’s Lucid, that’s part of their entire thing. Maybe it’s more of a Dimensions thing, who knows…”

Honoured. The word sent an unreasonable shiver of dread down Jihae’s spine. They felt bad, Haneul was nothing if not being perfectly polite right now and their inferiority complex had nothing to do with him. Still, they had to swallow the urge to tell him that he was exaggerating. Who were they to decide that for him anyway? This wasn’t their place. And with how vicious they knew the public could be at times Jihae had no doubt Vive overall heard more about how rigged the final line-up was on the regular, more than they should ever have to. “Well, please know I’m not just saying it to be kind. You’re a great performer and I know I wasn’t the only one who enjoyed watching you on stage. I never looked at you and thought that you don’t belong in front of a crowd.”

now haneul had to admit that jihan wasn’t wrong, they were collages gave him a proud feeling inside, origin were famous not only on a domestic level but on a worldwide level; vive being pushed this way even though they were only temporary, meant something important. it was a huge thing to be considered a colleague and hoobae group of them, "oh i dragged him along with me to the beach, " he nodded with an amused expression, " though neither of us knew where the beach was, whoever invented google maps deserve some sort of award! "

listening to the older speak, haneul could only nod along to the memories; he had been scared of evaluations in the tart as well but he got over it quickly, when he got the hang of them and got acknowledged by the coaches. there was something competitive about it all and haneul was a competitive person; sometimes to a fault, " i know what you mean but i got over it fast, i was a trainee for four years and there were always new challenges, so it wasn't too bad. " jihae nudges him and haneul smiles bashfully, " thank you but i still have many things to learn and improve on, " though he was also aware of how good he was, he knew that he would never be perfect.

" oh that is right, they do have some rock elements; there are many songs that would sound good with rock elements i am sure, maybe we'll get to do a rock concept in the future. "

the mood went down a little, and it had been his fault he was sure but haneul didn't know what he had done and now he felt bad but he felt somewhat relieved when jihae spoke again. his eyes brightened back up and once again, compliments were coming out of the older's mouth. wondering where all the praise came from, it felt good receiving it; like his efforts were being recognized. for his group he was pushing himself, it was for his group that haneul wanted to do as many schedules as he could for everyone in his group to be recognized, not only him.

" thank you, really, " haneul looks at jihae with a content expression, a warm smile growing on his face as he contemplates more on his thoughts, " it would be nice if i could stand on stage with you one day, i think that would be neat! "

KYUBOK​:

before gold star had shipped their idols off to america for the big triple fantasy fest, kyubok had never stepped foot outside of south korea. it had never been in the budget for his family to really take any sort of vacation from work to travel and see other parts of the world. so with each new country that vive was sent off to would be new for kyubok as well. though the united states hadn’t turned out terribly or anything. they had a nice view. “i think so…?” kyubok stated, though it came out as more of a question as well.

honestly he mostly had wanted to nap the day away after arriving back in america but with haneul dragging him out to explore, he didn’t have much of a choice in the matter. “not sure, was there something you wanted to do?” the older asked as they continued to walk, looking around for ideas, using his english knowledge to read signs in the windows of what was around them. 

thinking about it, he had been in the us before for a schedule... but that felt like a blur still for him – haneul was sure, this entire summer would be a blur if their schedule kept being as packed as it was. that would be the worst feeling, forgetting things that he had done already.

hearing kyubok’s question he wondered to himself, he had been the one  that dragged him out of the hotel room so of course he should be the one to know what to do but he didn’t know where to start.

“ i want to see the beach, ” that was faster said than done, he was sure it wouldn’t be easy to go to the beach not in this heat and especially not when they didn’t know where they were going, “ i’d like to go see the beach hyung. ” maybe his request was too big, suddenly he felt a little bad about having dragged kyubok out with him– “ if you don’t feel up for it... you can stay, i’m sure i’ll find the way i have gps on my phone. ”

JIHAE​:

Settling into their seat, Jihae tried a more confident smile. “I– I’ll blame it on me being born abroad, I’m not hugely into being called hyung but you don’t have to be so formal with me, yeah? Plus, right now we’re colleagues first, senior and junior second.” It wasn’t all a lie, Jihae understood the importance of adhering to societal norms where they lived but seniority culture had taken a lot to get used to. That, and the gendered nature of it was a stomach ache and a half, but that wasn’t really a conversation they deemed fit for this environment or someone they’d only really gotten to know over the timeframe of working on the Colla3orate project together. 

“Four months in and you’re already being shipped off to concerts? Lady Bang is brutal…” Thinking of their own experiences touring, Jihae felt for Vive—yes, even for Kyubok. They grimaced and gave Haneul a stiff but sympathetic smile. “I hope you enjoyed yourself touring! I admittedly am not super into it, I get homesick real quick–” They laughed, tried to pretend like their embarrassment didn’t irritate them as much as it did, “so staying away from home for long always feels strange to me.” They shrugged. “So you’ve had solo stages for these performances as well?”

The praise sent a flush to Jihae’s cheeks and they coughed, took a sip of water trying to wash down the feeling of not knowing what to say. Thank you? They didn’t want to seem conceited, even though that one felt appropriate for sure. What else? “It’s a nice song, right?” they asked instead. “I like rock music. Pity we’ve never dipped much into that side of the genre spectrum.” Their fingers drew idle swirls over the mildly sticky table surface. “I thought your performance was really impressive. Expressive. Dancing is one thing, dancing and telling something that way is something else.” Their eyes zeroed in on Haneul’s face. “I hope this isn’t too awkward of me to say but I think it’s not hard to tell why you were chosen to be part of the debut group. I mean that, i really do.”

hearing the older say they weren’t big on formalities made haneul feel odd, it was comfortable in a way since it meant he could address the older however he liked but at the same time it felt weird; haneul was korean after all, so it’d feel unnatural to drop them completely even if he understood the reasoning; he would feel odd not addressing the older as one or the other, " j-jihae then, " even if it felt weird it also felt rather honored to be on a first-name basis with the other.

haneul shifted his eyes bashfully at the mention of vive's schedule, it was true they were busy he had said so himself but hearing it like that made it feel bigger than it initially had done, " you could say that. " if haneul thought about it, vive as a group had pretty big shoes to fill— if they were to follow into origin's footsteps at all, it was understandable that gold star wanted to push them but at the same time, haneul wondered when he would be able to have a full night's sleep again, " it was fun to visit the us, the first time vive were in the us it was for the festival... in the desert but i don’t count that as visiting really. this time, me and kyubok went and looked around, we filmed something as well so we got to experience quite a bit. "

" no, i have not had a solo stage like this, i did for my trainee evaluations but never like this. it was rather intimidating. " haneul laughs, rubbing the back of his neck with a bashful expression still on his face.

rock. that would indeed be an interesting genre to see in the scene, " i don't think there are many groups that have done a pop-rock song properly yet? if i'm not mistaken, it'd be cool to see one day," it felt rather awkward for him to be this casual with the older but haneul was sure, with time he might just get used to it. haneul took a sip of his drink before looking back at jihan as they spoke.

" eh? " he blurted with wide eyes at the sudden mention of his own performance, haneul took both his hands laced the fingers behind his head and bit his lip as he tried to hold back his smile at the praise. haneul hadn't expected to hear that from the older, " thank you. " it was genuine, everything about his reaction was genuine; " it's not awkward at all, i'm honored that you think so," he nods but haneul was painfully aware about what many of their fans and the public thought, that him and kyubok were rigged into the group, a frustrating thing really but hearing jihan compliment him now, made him feel like that wasn't the truth at all, " it does mean a lot coming from you."

hello, small announcement

i will be a little sparce and selective this next week. which is sad considering the new decipher main vocal is mine but i will be around to plot i swear, i just will take things easy for at least a week.

no hiatus but...

tw death, todayh i was told that my grandfather passed away, so for the next few days i will be just silently writing replies, do character development things and plot for yejun mostly.

don’t be scared to ask to plot or thread still though, i appreciate distractions now!

JIAH​:

Colla3orate is very fun if Jiah allows herself to think about it deeply. A chance to work with other artists, from different companies and who debuted at different times. It’s not every day that something like this happens, and for that, she’s grateful for the opportunity. It’s also a very different concept from all the work she had as a group, and differs a little from Jiah’s solo work, too, so she might as well embrace it and work with what she has.

Jiah is the second oldest person involved in the project, and the second most experienced, following right after Taejin. She knows some people might not feel as comfortable, and she had handled that type of situation before, so it’s not unexpected, and she’s okay with it.

So, when she’s caught by surprise when someone bumps on her, she’s not upset or anything. Jiah wasn’t paying attention either, too busy greeting one of the staff to look ahead of her, otherwise, it wouldn’t have happened. When the kid starts apologizing, Jiah shakes her head and motions her hand in front of her from side to side to dismiss the apology, “It was my fault, too, don’t worry. Are you okay?” she asks as she pats… Haru, if her memory didn’t fail her, in the shoulder. “It’s very nice to meet you too, Haru. You’re looking nervous, but I’m sure you’ll do a good job, alright?”

he felt like a fool where he was standing, to think that one of the first things he had done on set was to walk into jiah from bee. haneul mentally cursed at himself but he needed to stay calm but also; somehow, manage to seem like he felt bad for his actions ( which he did ). he was much taller than her so he was sure that if any damage was taken, she would have been the one to feel most of it.

" i am alright, " he nods and glances up at her, " are you alright? you sure you aren't hurt? i should have paid more attention. "

she was right, he was nervous, how could he not be but while he was nervous he was also filled with excitement, excitement about his first solo schedule as an idol. a chance to make himself and his group more known to the public and to other fans.

" i'll try to make few mistakes, " he smiles slightly at her, running his fingers through his hair. thankfully he didn't ruin anything, his hair wasn't styled to be all fancy and it fell straight back into place even if he ran his fingers through it. which he was thankful for, or else he was sure his stylist would give him an earful.

                 °  손하늘 ’s YEARS AS A TRAINEE: 2016 - 2020

2016

haneul got signed through an open audition they were holding in gwangju, he danced to origin’s fire for his autidion.

first montly eval performance he did: drip drop

not his best performance, most likely one of the weakest because he had never really sung before aside from karaoke.

but he got a good response because it was his first evaluation and showed promise.

moved to seoul, got accepted to hanlim high school

the first half year he spent as a trainee, he focused mostly on dancing and getting used to being a trainee. 

he worked hard at both his school work and trainee activities but while he was in high school he decided that he should focus on on skill for a set amount of time.

since he was already a dancer, he decided that he should try to become a better singer and rapper, while also practicing his dancing.

singing/rapping while dancing was difficult for him this year.

2017

the year he deicdes to focus mostly on his vocals, he tries not to rap as much unless he has to but through out the year and through different montly evaluations his confidence grows as not only a dancer but vocalist.

really really, group performance

these were the ones that recieved the best response and he got placed first that month for performing. these were also the ones he enjoyed performing the most

his natural vocal talent started coming out this year, even if he doesn’t have the most powerful vocals, his control and melisma starts taking form.

this year his vocals while dancing also stabilizes, he started runninf on a threadmill while singing to stabilize it.

2018

this year he decides to focus on rapping, he tries not to sing unless he has to but thankfully he rarely sings.

some of his monthly evaluation songs for 2018 include:

love scenario, group performance

late night, adjusted to be a solo performance

these performances were well recieved and he got placed first with these six performances, showing his improvement as a rapped.

to practice his rapping haneul finds different tongue twisters, which he repeats multiple times a day, then he sticks a pen/chopsticks in his mouth and practices his prononciation that way. he also practices rapping on beat and to get a better understanding of what he’s rapping, he writes the lyrics down.

he also starts practicing his own rap making, so for different instrumentals he practices writing raps.

2019

this year he focuses on combining the thing s he has learned from the previous years, so he alternates between rapping and singing for his monthly evaluations

gotta go, solo performance

danger, solo performance

these are the performances that recieve the best response from the coahces and he ranks no 1 with these song performances.

he also focuses on learning english this year, to get rid of most of his accent he listens to english songs and records himself to hear how he sounds.

he also graduates from high school this year, so he puts it all into his trainee activities. 

at this point he is one of the more versatile trainee’s in gold star media but because he is so versatile, he also starts to lose his value to them.

2020

he continues on combining, practicing his rap making, while singing and dancing at the same time.

haneul isn’t aware that they are considering letting him go as a trainee at this point. so he performances are he would usually do.

when he was let go as a trainee, haneul was shocked even if he might have sensed that something was off, he had never thought that him being let go as a trainee would be the result.

haneul doesn’t quite remember what was told to him when he was let go, that time was a blur for him and he doesn’t want to think about it.

SOLO: COLLA3ORATE                             ° solo stage, cover of danger / wc: 511

when preparing for his solo stage, when picking his song he tried to figure out what would show his skills the best and what would entertain the crowd the most. there were multiple different performances he could do but in the end, he landed on one he had performed before, during one of his trainee evaluations-- danger. it was a song he knew and a song he could do a twist on if he so desired it.

the one thing that was on his mind when he was waiting for his turn to go on stage was, what would his members think? this was his first solo schedule, by himself— it felt rather empty practicing and during rehearsals, he was used to performing with them already, and here he was, not even three months into debut and already having a solo schedule. with all these senior artists— however, he was determined to do well, to make his members proud, and to be remembered by the people watching him today.

when he stepped onto the stage, there was a moment where he felt a shiver down his spine— it was only for a moment that he felt like that because the rush of seeing the crowd took over.

"hello everyone," he bowed politely at the crowd, the perfect 90-degree angle— " i am vive's haru and it is a big honor to be here today ! " he bowed once more, for good measure— " i will be performing taemin sunbaenim's danger for my solo stage, i hope you all enjoy it! "

with that he got into his position with his back facing the crowd, nodded at the staffs controlling the music to signal that he was ready and in his ear, he heard the music start and he turned around on his heel, his body moving comfortably and he started singing confidently, not missing the beat as he had done a couple times during rehearsals.

even if he was covering a song, haneul had managed to make it his own— it wasn't like he was copying the original artist and he adjusted the moves to suit his dance style but he still kept the original choreography, taemin was known for his style and that was something haneul also wanted to be known for in the future. his performance was stable, even while singing an entire song by himself ( something he hadn't really done before on this scale )— he felt the adrenaline take over as the bridge came and his worries about not being able to hit the high notes were gone, haneul put pressure on his voice and used it with confidence.

when the performance was over he took one breath, gathered himself and bowed at the crowd again— smiling at them, the way he presented himself changed from the charismatic persona he had on stage to someone that was more precious, " thank you all, please enjoy the rest of the performances, " he said and bowed to the crowd as he left the stage, the applause making him smile as he stepped off the stage.

JIHAE:

WHEN / WHERE: July 24th, after the Seoul mini-concert WITH: @fmdharu​

Being the incorrigible introvert they were a meal after a concert was the definition of everything Jihae didn’t want to have to deal with. Still, faces had to be upheld and as much as they tried to convince themselves that they weren’t really bothered by what others thought of them they knew it to be a lie and thus they’d put on their best fake smile, brought their most comfortable clothes to wear after the performance and braved their discomfort.

The atmosphere in the restaurant, at least, felt light-hearted and euphoric after a job well done rather than awkward and when they slid into place at a table that still had an empty place to offer, some of their trepidation had already melted off their shoulders. Their eyes nervously scanned the table trying to puzzle together who they were able to small talk with the most confidently before deciding that Haneul, the person they were seated to the next, was probably their easiest bet.

“Good work today,” they praised a little awkwardly, a small smile on their face. “I– uh. I realize that might sound a little patronizing, I promise I don’t mean for it to be. But I had fun working with you and your solo stage was really good–” They cut their rambles off, eyes returning to staring holes into the table. Jihae never quite knew how to talk to the members of Vive, not when part of them always worried about how much they knew about what had gone on between them and Kyubok. Haneul, most of all, had trained under the same company and might know and that thought was terrifying to them, not just because it represented a liability but because it meant not being able to safely assess how Haneul might feel about them at all.

“It’s your first time doing something like this, right? Like, with how recently Vive debuted and all.”

this experience was a first for him, shooting a commercial without his members and having solo activities— something about it felt incredibly surreal. looking back at his performance of ' danger ' ( which was honestly a bold move ), it had gone over rather successfully. he'd enjoyed the performances of the senior artists as well. it was an honor to stand on the same stage as them.

july was an hectic month for vive and haneul, they had been what felt like all over the us— then come back to korea only to practice choreography for multiple different songs. then to top it all off, haneul had to prepare for this project— he was grateful for the opportunity though, he was just incredibly tired.

he tried to hide it to the best of his abilities but jusst as he was trying to hide a yawn, he heard a familiar voice and turned to look up at the senior idol— mid-yawn he stood up but at the same time tried to show his respects, so he shook his head and bowed "sunbae-nim,," he said and bowed quickly at the older. haneul smiled widely at the male, gesturing for him to sit next to him, "please sit," he nods and waits for the older to sit down, " thank you, it was an experience that was for sure. "

haneul sat down again and took a sip of his glass of water ( he had schedules after so no alcohol for him ) — " having a solo schedule is new yes, but we were in the us for the first half of july performing in concert venues there, so not completely foreign."

" your solo stage was also very cool, " he nods and smiles over at jihae, haneul was for the most part only close with max from origin— though he knew of jihae and respected the older alot, he had never really had much opportunity to get to know him, from his trainee days he could remember that kyubok and jihae were close but since coming back they had all been so busy with their schedules.

CLOSED STARTER “ AN INTERVIEW WITH ”                            ° @fmdxsehoon

there was something intense about this experience, he would be interviewing one of charm’s members-- the sun was burning outside, so he felt extra flushed when he entered the studio where their interview would be held. it was rather professional-- once inside he quickly drank an entire bottle of water ( something he probably shouldn’t have done ) -- but he was thirsty.

to think the senior idol accepted his request was a wild feeling, haneul had arrived earlier than the appointment time but it was fine-- this gave him time to collect his thoughts and go ove the questions he had listed.

when the older arrived, haneul greeted him respectfully-- handing him a water bottle, then gesturing for him to sit. he was the interviewer after all-- “ when you are ready, we can start! ”

haneul waited for the older to settle in-- then when he was ready the camera started rolling, he gathered himself and smiled widely at the camera!

“ so, we’re here with charm’s jay-ssi, or kim sehoon-ssi. first, jay sunbaenim-- thank you for accepting this interview with him. ”

it was fair to say that right now, sitting in the chair across from sehoon made haneul nervous-- looking at him gave haneul a jittery feeling in his stomach, some called them butterflies but haneul felt a little overwhelmed.

no matter he tried to hide his feelings, he needed to stay professional after all.

“ the weather is so nice today, i like the summer but i am more of a spring person at heart. what is your favorite season and why? ”
