farewell <3

As some of you may have noticed, I haven’t really been active on tumblr lately. To be honest, I was and am extremely busy in real life. I made my first tumblr account, that I have forgotten the name of, in the summer of 2022 at the ripe age of thirteen. Since then my life has changed immensely and I have now moved on.

I’m graduating (Americans would say high school) next year and in Germany the last two years make up two thirds of your final grade sooo yeah.

Also I have made so many new friends in real life over the past months. In the last year my friend group has merged with like four others and I have grown to love all of these people dearly.

But all of this combined with more hobbies and activities I’m doing has left me with no time or motivation to spend (and - let’s be honest - waste) time in this wonderful corner of the internet.

I want to say goodbye instead of just disappearing because I’m still worried about some people who left and sometimes thinking about wether they are okay. This is me telling all of you that I’m great :)

Thank you guys for being your queer selves and teaching me at a young age to be accepting of everyone and everything. This also applies to myself as I would never have come to terms with being a part of the bi+ community at 14 years old without tumblr and the prideball comics.

I have kind of left my fandoms behind, replacing the fanfictions with my own fanfic worthy romance (that I ended already, but we’re still friends - it’s complicated..). Also I have started reading scientific literature, where building a fandom is a bit hard. Additionally I’m now reading books, where I don’t want to change anything. Of course I don’t really have the time or energy to read as much as I did a few years ago as well.

To summarise, I feel like I’ve written a very sappy essay now. Anyway I actually just wanted to say goodbye and thank you :)

In the past few months I have learned to appreciate the beauty of the world around me, my friends as well as the nature, bike rides, stand-up-paddling and strolls through the park.

I had a lot of fun on here with the tournaments (yes I’m a nerd and happily so), the tagging games with picrew.me, the made up real movies, endless polls, memes, the colours of the sky, rickrolls and nice people.

Maybe I’ll open tumblr sometimes to just watch or maybe I’ll return someday who knows

I love visiting people who have some kind of pet reptile because they're always like "would you like to hold the reptile" and I'm like "of course I would" and then the rest of the conversation happens with me just holding a random reptile and the reptile Has No Feelings about the situation. They always just sit there, probably vaguely wishing to return to their heat lamp but clearly exuding an energy of This Might As Well Happen. and then I put it back in its enclosure and go home and the reptile very clearly has no strong feelings about the situation.

overhearing ninth grade drama is so funny like i went to get food with a friend of mine who’s a couple years younger than me and her friends and they talked about the juiciest things ever. i think that once you get to like eighteen you just don’t care. but like one of my friends who’s twenty creates the most drama of all of us. but he has actual points to make. anyway
