Here to preach my "Herald of the Apocalypse" Pearl hc /observations.
The end of the world literally follows Pearl in most server's she's in
Earliest would be Evo, where she and the other Evolutionists were picked off one by one by the watchers
Then is Legacy smp to my knowledge, the wither court, hundreds of creatures of death, destorying everything
Heck they escape to legacy 2 and from what I know THE WITHERS FOLLOWED THEM there
Then is Hermitcraft Season 8. The Moonfall, the MOONfall. Literally Pearl's cousin
Then empires s1, the whole Xornoth thing. They stopped it for a moment but like always.
You. Cannot. Escape. It.
Pearl even dies this time
Maybe that's why when empires s2 and hermitcraft s9 happens...
They actually stop it... cause I'm pretty sure the rift could've torn reality apart.
The Life Series may not get cataclysms...
But it did get the boogeyman in the same series Pearl joined....
And she got some of the most lives....
As if reality needed her alive...
But even if she does die
She will just come back
To call upon destruction...
And the end of all things she cares for
Anyway this is just a silly headcanon/observation I've made :)
Uhhh
Marvel Mcyt Aus!
Pearl as the silver surfer/silly
Okay I actually love this. I donât really have much to add this is just sick.

Listen since this narrative has been brought back because of the incident in the Past Life finale of Grian betraying Gem, I just want to remind yall of this:
Not only were Pearl and Gem NOT actually teamed up in Secret Life, but Scott killed both of Pearlâs remaining day one allies and he was firmly on Gemâs team. He was Gemâs day one ally. When it came down to Gem and the Scotts vs Mounders both Gem and Pearl made it clear they werenât leaving their day one team with the whole âYou should be over here,â âMaybe you should be over hereâ, thing they did. Scar, meanwhile, had already been made an honorary Mounder by Pearl and Pearl had already offered her life to him. Pearl in no way betrayed Gem other than Gemâs expectations that despite everything her team had done to Pearlâs and the fact that they had never made an actual alliance, Pearl would for some reason still be loyal to her.
Also important to note if youâve only seen Gemâs POV of Wild Life and not Pearlâs, they are telling wildly different stories about how Gem felt about the supposed âbetrayalâ. In Pearlâs POV, Gem openly admits to dragging out the drama on purpose to rile Pearl up and not actually being mad about it. Gem did NOT leave that part of the conversation in her POV.
Gem is one of the most fascinating Life Series POVs because sheâs so conscious of narrative and expectation and no matter how often she fails to predict other playersâ behaviors, she will always treat it as their fault rather than her own. Gem has already cast everyoneâs roles in her story before they even properly act. Her not seeing that Pearl would stick with Scar and not Gem was Gem failing to see that her actual team had hurt Pearlâs and that Pearl is always loyal to her team above all, and that the murder camel had only been a temporary team up and not an actual alliance. But she needs to frame it as a betrayal in her own story because then it makes it Pearlâs failure and not hers. Gem must be great at the social game, she must be good at reading people and for her own narrative she must be able to read Pearl especially well. When she canât do that, because no player is completely predictable, she cannot ever admit that she is the one that messed up. And that makes her incredibly interesting!!!!!

Mmm
I have a question
Would you say Pearl has always been a little crazy or she became that way?
Can the answer be yes to both?
I think Pearl was always a little unhinged just because she's generally kind of a weird goofy person and because everyone is a little unhinged in the Life Series cause it's a death game lol. Like even in Last Life she is a little unhinged. I think what happened in Double Life specifically was that Pearl got deep in her general unhinged-ness but without anyone else to bounce off of. Pearl is theatric, she does bits, but Double Life Pearl had no one to act for but people who had already decided she was kind of evil and insane. So she gets deep into the persona of "crazy ex-girlfriend".
And since then, Pearl keep trying to recreate the specific brand of "crazy" she was in DL, I think because that persona made people afraid of her and when people are afraid of you, you are safer. Like I don't think Pearl really is the same kind of "crazy" anymore, I think she's gone back to being more general Life Series unhinged, but she keeps trying to play act at being Scarlet Pearl again because it was cool and dramatic and scared other players. While it kind of worked in LimL and SL, I think since WL even the other players have started to see through it a bit. See: Cleo being startled when they saw Pearl wearing the Scarlet skin early in LimL, vs the general lack of fear from literally anyone when they saw it in PL. That ruthless and bloodthirsty side of Pearl only worked in the specific scenario of DL and for the Murder Camel in Secret Life and has kind of flopped every time since because it's not how "crazy" she actually is.
TLDR; Pearl was only really "crazy" in DL, but she has been generally unhinged in the normal Life Series way before and since.

A family of cheetahs sleep with the forest guard every night. When the Forest Dept. heard about it, they decided to check the veracity of the claim by installing a CCTV camera. This is what the camera recorded! Just amazing.

The bed is too small.
A single twin bed for three players is frankly a little ridiculous. Theyâve got two other beds upstairs, reserved for Scott and Etho but still perfectly usable. None of them move towards the ladder.
Pearl lays down first, she always ends up in between and beneath the two of them by default just based on height. Gem next, tucking herself in to Pearlâs right side and mumbling some complaint about how Pearl is too bony. Pearl tells her she can go find another pillow if sheâs going to whine about it, and Gem huffs and goes silent. Grian curls up to her left, passing his glasses over her so Gem can put them next to hers on the crafting table serving as a nightstand. Pearl complains that she canât breathe when Grian wraps an arm around her, holding her like a teddy bear. Grian just sighs and holds her tighter. Villy whines at the base of the bed and Gem shoos him off. Thereâs no room for him, even if it makes Pearl sad to have to send him away.
At some point in the night, Gem will wake up soaked in sweat (she has always run hot, she is not having nightmares, GeminiTay does not get scared of dreams) and she will desperately press her forehead to Pearlâs unnaturally cold skin. At some point in the night, Pearl will unconsciously shift to curl up, to make herself smaller on the bed, and will find that her limbs are pinned flat and she cannot. At some point in the night, Grianâs eyes will open and he will stare blearily at his teammates, their faces obscured by the dark and his own poor vision.
The bed is too big.
A single twin bed in the ruins of their tower. They really should move somewhere safer, more secret. But the session is over, truce has been called for now. And so they head back to what is now just a monolith of cobblestone and burnt leaves and trampled roses. Those had been Pearlâs roses.
Neither of them feels like getting into bed first. That was always Pearl, even when she complained about being squished. They both stare aimlessly, tensely, at the miraculously intact sheets. Gem bites the bullet and lies down first, head resting on an actual pillow for the first time in weeks. She hates it. Itâs plush and soft and not Pearl. Grian reluctantly climbs in next to her, clutching her closely. Itâs not the same, they both know it. No matter how much they press together there is something missing. Villy is curled up in his own corner, not even looking their way.
At some point Gem will wake up sweating, soaking the now warm pillow and trembling despite how burning hot she feels. She will blink and find that Grian is staring at her. He hasnât taken his glasses off. He wants a clear look, in case he loses her too.
