It's really very disturbing to me the amount of people I've seen say that they support Jews, that they will speak out against antisemitism (and they might even think they mean it) but feel the need to explicitly mention that they don't mean the ones living in Israel.

Bestie, if your advocacy doesn't extend to fully half of the Jewish population on the planet, your advocacy actually means fuck all. If your support and compassion for Jews stops when they happen to be Israeli, then you never really gave a shit about any of them.

My Israeli friends, when I speak out against antisemitism and voice my support for the Jewish community, please know you are *always* in my mind too, because I have seen you thrown under the bus in the name of political convenience and it's reprehensible.
