Abel is “baby girl.”

Adam had a lot of rockstar energy — the original “kind of toxic a$$hole” kind. Abel is very, very different. He is not like his father, Adam.

Abel is a rockstar like Adam, but in his own little way.

Abel was probably not Adam’s favorite son.

Abel is portrayed as the “soft one” in contrast to his father Adam, who was designed to be a fun but toxically masculine “rockstar” type.

Abel is the sweet son that Adam may or may not have been proud of.

Viv said Abel is “very fun and delightful.”

Abel is also a character that’s very beloved by the crew. He became an internal favorite very quickly. The writers love Abel. Everyone was like: “I want to do Abel scenes!” They were all vying for him.

Adam preened with pride. He loved that their family was growing but there was always a certain point in pregnancy where he felt utterly useless. It wasn't like when he was human and back on Earth and he had a lot to do. Keep food flow steady and clean, keep fetching water, protect Eve from potential larger animals. Finding something that only he could do was something he latched on with all his might, and he was damn proud of that.

“Adaaamm! Adam! Adam! Adam!” Here comes Lucid, flying in at 10 O’clock. The seraphim goes in for a landing, bare feet tripping across the cloud before stumbling face first into the First Man. “OOF! Sorry about that. Hello!”

Adam barely had time to set aside his guitar and realize what was happening. When Lucid crashed into him, he stumbled back, but instinctively held on protectively onto Lucid as he tumbled back. Thankfully, expanding his wings gave him the balance he needed to not completely fall over. Lucid was...stronger than he looked. He looked so excited, that Adam forgot about his guitar being out of tune for some reason, and smiled, "Well, aren't you excited to see me. Naturally, I completely understand! What's up?"
