Astrology for the week ahead:

April 29th – May 5th

The pace of life should pick up this week, particularly after Monday, which can still feel chaotic and ungrounded with Mars conjunct magical, mystical, but confusing, Neptune at the last degree of Pisces. On Tuesday, Mars moves into its strongest sign Aries, leading to an end of uncertainty and a greater sense of clarity for your right direction. Venus is also moving into its strongest sign, Taurus at the start of the week, fortifying your knowing of your personal values. So although the world may still be in chaos, you should have greater clarity about what is right for you—and afterall, you can only control yourself and how you react.

The first few days of the week can still feel uncertain, with Venus square Pluto, giving a nagging sense that something is going on beneath the surface in your relationships—but again, you cannot control others, however, you can drop into your own core and know what is best for you.

The future calls this week with the forward seeing Jupiter/Uranus conjunction still in effect and Mercury now moving forward. Friday is an excellent day to assert yourself with confidence with Mars sextile Pluto giving deep reserves of strenght to draw upon.

All in all, a week to come back to yourself and what you can control—welcome home.

Monday: A busy day in the heavens. Mars is conjunct Neptune—excellent for creativity, poetry, romance, or going to a magic show, but can feel muddled about worldly issues. Venus moves into its home sign of Taurus, which seeks to ground the mystical magical energy and make it real. The Moon is in resourceful Capricorn, sextile to responsible Saturn and square to restless Mercury at the start of the day—responsibility wins. The Moon moves into a flowing trine to the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction this evening, fortifying confidence of things moving forward in your life.

Tuesday: Mars, the planet of action, picks up strength and speed today, as it enters its strongest sign, Aries. This will bolster courage, drive, and the ability to get going. The Moon enters highly independent Aquarius this Morning, square to Venus and conjunct Pluto while Venus is also square to transformative Pluto—all in all, an intense day bringing issues to head in relationships. Don’t get caught up with what other people are doing, drop into your core and know what is right for you.

Wednesday: May Day—"hooray, hooray, outdoor f**king starts today!” Expect a bit of a funky start to the day, leading to a smooth afternoon. Venus is still square Pluto, creating a steamy cauldron of buried emotions. The Moon is in free-spirited, friendship-oriented Aquarius and sextile to Mercury this afternoon, stimulating an easy flow of communication with others.

Thursday: A smooth day and enjoyable evening is in store with the Moon starting the day in friendly Aquarius moving into flowing Pisces midday. The Moon sextile romantic Venus this evening holds great promise for relationships and entertainment—enjoy!

Friday: Feel the power today with Mars in a stimulating sextile to Pluto—a good day to impress the boss with a new proposal or launch a new product. Athletes will enjoy the deep reserves of energy available. The Moon is in “go with the flow” Pisces in an easy sextile to the Sun in Taurus, facilitating a greater enjoyment of how the day is unfolding. You may have to buckle down this afternoon to get things tied up before the weekend with the Moon conjunct pressure-laden Saturn.

Saturday: The Moon is in sensitive Pisces conjunct mystical Neptune midday, perfect for a daytime movie or other escapist activity. Then get ready for a power packed evening with the Moon moving into action-oriented Aries this afternoon, sextile to Pluto and conjunct Mars this evening—a good night to take part in a marathon dance competition!

Sunday: The Moon is in Aries with no aspects throughout the day. Ideally, you could have a totally self-directed day, doing what you want, when you want to, and how you want to do it. If you don’t know what to do, do something to align with action-oriented Aries. The Moon does conjunct Mercury late tonight, keeping the mind buzzing with new ideas.
