And here’s the big project I’ve been working on! I made a minor arcana for the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure major arcana, so that there could be a full usable deck. 

This is the first print copy and after some color corrections, the full deck will be available for sale! If you’re interested in ordering, kick an email my way at damienscarlet@gmail.com and you’ll know the instant they’re ready to buy. This is also how I’m going to gauge demand, since the cost to print will be less the more people want a deck. 

The deck includes non-official versions of Araki’s lucky land major arcana, while the minor arcana was made by me. I’m obviously not Hirohiko Araki, so the minor arcana, while I try my best to mimic his style, is at the end of the day fan-made. Note, that for a few cards in the major arcana, full high quality scans were not available, so the quality is slightly lower (it’s most notable on the Strength card). 

And now, a story:

My friend ( http://sonicviagra.tumblr.com/ ) had a birthday coming up, and I had not a lot of money, so I decided to make her something. I got her into Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, partially because she’s into tarot cards, and because I knew she’d just enjoy it (also, her nickname is fingers). 

She instantly loved the card designs from the series, and was upset when she went to look for an official deck and found out there were only a couple collectible printings that go for hundreds of dollars. 

At first, I thought that it wouldn’t be so hard to just find some high quality scans color them to get printed (hahaha), but then I decided that really, why not make the deck actual usable in her tarot readings? (HAHAHA) 

Soooooooo, she ended up getting a rushed fanart for her birthday, and a Jirachi for Christmas, as I assured her the real present was on the way. It turns out that drawing and inking 56 cards, then coloring 78 cards, and re-creating the card back design is a lot of work. Who knew?

I finally gave her the cards yesterday, and she loved them. She also graciously gave me permission to offer the deck for sale to others. It started as a labor or love, but I knew that there would probably be a lot of people that would like a more reasonably priced Jojo tarot deck, albeit not quite as pro as the officially made ones.

I’m back, and I drew Izaya to celebrate!

So, basically I got carried away with a huge project, and it’s a present for a friend so I can’t post it here until the printed version is ready. It’s gotta be a surprise. I kept it secret for like, six months, there’s no way I’m telling now. 

I was also away somewhat because I got really sick and I’m still taking antibiotics. 

Anyways, after I basically shunned everything else to try and get it completed in a reasonable time frame, I can finally get back to uploading stuff here regularly (and I’m still open for commissions like always).

Ok, So this one requires some explanation:

My friend knickatknight commissioned me to draw him a ‘boobie spider’.

He was trying to figure out how to make a boggart that turned into a spider funny, and his answer was ‘’what if it was covered it in boobs’.

Obviously, I say that makes it more terrifying!

The pastel rainbow shading was inspired by a car window sticker we both saw, that I can only describe as an orb of rainbow breasts.

As a bonus, Jerenemo also doodled his own take on it.

This originally had crushed furniture and a torn up doll underneath her, but I couldn’t make it work with the overall picture, especially background wise. So I cropped it and made it simple.

I really like Flandre (me and everyone else). She reminds me of my inner child. I was very rough on my toys, partially out of boredom and isolation. I was nicest to stuffed animals, but I chewed up all the hands on my dolls, and intentionally dropped most of my trains and cars from high places.

Giorno is my favorite JoJo character, and that’s a curse because I hate drawing flowers. I guess I could just not draw them, but that feels like backing down from a challenge.
