Dew, who sleeps deeply embedded in countless blankets and pillows, and Rain, who sleeps entombed in an unreal amount of plushies.
Every time they try to sleep in the same bed together at some point during the night one goes to try and cuddle the other and has to traverse the seemingly endless expanse of plush softness.
Like “I have traversed miles of comfort and fought my way through the cozy barricades just to hold my boyfriend tight”. A losing battle but an important one 😔

Ok, so... if Aether is no longer in the band, can we agree he was just getting older & feeling too tired to be a band ghoul anymore so he hung up his bug helmet to work in the abbey medical wing full time - rather than being sent back to the pit or dying? That way we can still have soft dewther fic & my heart can stay in one piece.
