This is my blog where I talk (mainly complain) about all my first world problems. Some of them will be outrageous and some (I hope) will be relatable but none the less I hope you enjoy them.

So I went to go get my nails done and instead of getting normal gel on my nails, yo girl decided to get some acrylic nails. So far I do notice a slight difference. I normally able to type without looking and make little to no mistakes but now I can’t do the same. I feel like I make about two mistakes before 5 words and now i have to type looking down at the keyboard because I’m not very confident in my typing skills. I do, however, like the clacking sounds my nails make when typing on the keys. It is oddly statisfying. I probably will get used to it and adapt to it later on.
I just realized that I can’t pick up things that well anymore and now when I scratch my back it won’t be as satisfying. I guess I’ll continue to have my boyfriend scratch my back for me :D
My hands do look nicer than normal but I feel like I picked a terrible color and wish I can redo but oh well. I will just stick with this color for like 2 and a half weeks. Now time to think of my next nail color.

Yesterday at work I took off my press on nails because I have decided that I will be getting acrylics. It’s such a dilemma for me because I want my nails to be healthy and strong but I also want them to look like I can spit wisdom with my hands at any second.
Now that I’m thinking about it I’m kind of going back and forth with getting acrylics or not. I hate the up keep of them and I hate the fact when I scratch my back it’s not as satisfying as it would be with your natural nails. Also getting acrylics done is such a supppppeeerrr loooonnng ass process and I’m super lazy to sit in a chair for so long just getting my nails done. I think I’m going to do gel because i’m a lazy piece of shit. It is decided, I will be getting gel nails.
I have a feeling that next week I will want to get acrylic nails, stay tuned to see if I end up changing my mind yet again.

Hello friends, I am back with an update. I received a package in the mail the other which contained my sticker press on nails. I put them on last night and I got to say I really like the press on sticker nails better. They are cheaper than actually getting your nails done and they take less of your time(except when you order them from online and have to wait for them to arrive). I really like them and I like how they come in all sorts of designs and colors.
The only issue I have with them is that they do require you to file down your nails in order to for the press on to be the same length. Not a big deal but if you are planning on growing out your nails or doing them only for special occasions, you’re going to have to file down those nails that you have been growing out for some time. I’m sure that most people would just forget the press on nails and just go get their actual nails done BUT 12 dollars for press on or 30+ dollars to get your nails done. If you’re as cheap as me, you would be the press one. The designs that are on the press on can cost up 50 or more (depending where you go) just to have done on your real nail.
I personally love the press on nail look but I do notice that they scratch easily and when scratching my back of doing something that requires pressure on the nail you can kinda feel the press on peel off or lift a little. It says on the packaging that it lasts for up to 2 weeks but I don’t buy that one bit. Good thing about the press ons is that they have extra nails soooo there is a chance that you can reuse the same design twice if there are enough press ons that fit your nail. I haven’t showered with them yet so I’m not sure how they will fare in there but I have washed my hands and have not notice the glue coming off or the nail coming off. However, when I run my hands through my hair, I do notice that it does get stuck where the “cuticle” of the press on is. I’m typing with them right now and don’t feel like they are about to pop off. I did just scratch my back right now and I can feel the thumb nail become loose.
These are a cute idea but i’m not sure how long it will last.

It’s been a while since I posted on here. My last post was from when I bought AirPods because I was not able to listen to music while I was charging my phone. Great purchase by the way. I use it so much, worth the money and investment for me. Anyways back to the real reason i’m going to TRY be a little more active on this account. I recently purchased the new iPad Pro because I am going back to school this coming new year and I wanted to get ready for school and get myself prepared. I always loved school shopping and I wanted either a new laptop or iPad. I decided on an iPad because I really wanted it for the pen and I got it! Super satisfied with my decision, however, recently i’ve been really into acrylic nails and have decided about getting them again. The only problem is that if I were to get acrylic nails I would not be able to type as fast or smoothly as do I now. I also work as a front/receptionist so typing is a thing I have to do often. I’ve never had a problem in the past with having acrylic nails and typing but when I got this job and knew that I would have to be typing a lot that kinda changed everything for me. I really like the way they look on my nails but they do hinder me from doing my daily tasks and I also think it would be hard to type on the smart keyboard if I were to get them done. As I am typing this now it is kind of a little difficult for me to type and I currently do not have acrylic nails. If it’s this hard for me to type without the nails imagine when I do have the nails.
Maybe what I’ll do is I’ll get them done but at a manageable length instead of something crazy and dramatic and test how they are with this keyboard and if I do not like them I’ll just have my mom file them down. UGHHHHHHH but I also hate acrylics because they ruin your natural nails so much. I’m also trying to grow out my nails and have healthy nail beds but if I do this, this may ruin everything. I have no clue what I want to do.
Should I get them or should I not get them. I’ve never had this much trouble figuring out how to get my nails done. This is annoying.

Today, I had to go purchase AirPods. Why you might ask because I was not able to charge my cellular device while listening to music. I feel as though I am handicapped because of my iPhone 7. I never realized how hard it would be to do the tasks I was easily able to do before. I.e, charging my cell phone while listening to music or plugging in my phone into an aux cable. I just spent 174 dollars so that I could listen to music while charging my phone. Spending $174 dollars just to listen to music is insane but I will do weekly updates on how useful the Airpods and how often I use them (I think I’ll probably use them often but who knows)
