I’m back and I’m back with salt.

For the person who just wrote that diatribe about how serious RPers shouldn’t have to put up with those posts like “RP is not my job” or whatever? Those posts are for you, but not in a way you think. You’re welcome to take your RP seriously. The problem people have with folks like you is when you force them to RP like it’s a chore. 

Your chess comparison cracked me up, because-- going by this same analogy-- it’s like someone who’s on the road to becoming a grandmaster getting pissed because their friend who plays once in a blue moon didn’t play with them. 

I say this as someone who has been jonesing for consistent RP, solidly written, with somebody that I vibe with, since 2017. And it always gets cut short.

Those posts exist because you and I have no right to demand that others take a game as seriously as we do. You don’t have the right to get pissed at someone for having a job or a family or a relationship or just not having the energy to reply. Or perhaps the RP just doesn’t vibe for them.

That is the ENTIRE point of those posts, and by outright saying that you’re getting angry at people for not replying, it makes it abundantly clear that people like you are the reason they exist.
