Which characters in asoiaf do you think would be drift compatible? I think bloodraven and bittersteel would be and hate it. also cersei and jamie wouldn't be and they would hate it.

-Jaime and Brienne is the easiest low hanging fruit answer they have matching swords and the narrative beats you over the head with the see they’re the same in a way but just in case you didn’t see let me tell you again.

- Berric and Thoros feels almost too obvious as does Pyp and Grenn

-Melisandre and Davos but they do not ever get in the robot together because they’re both so mad the other one isn’t Stannis.

- Reed siblings.

- Daeron Drunken and Daemon Dreamer from Dunk and Egg probably.

-If they ever met up I think Arya and Alleras Sand would get on well.

- I’ve taken under advisement and have been recommended to say that Jon and Tyrion and also Robert and Damaris Naharis should be on this list

The best rulers in asoiaf are good because they WANT power. Dany and Jon want power and are the best rulers. Even in the past, Aegon I, Jaehaerys (as much as I hate him), both wanted power and were good leaders.

The worst leaders, the ones who ruined the realm the most? Robert, Aegon ll (bite me, he did nothing but be a puppet), they both did not want to become leaders.

Yes, being power-hungry is terrible, but not wanting power leads you to be a lazy ruler. The theme of asoiaf is not that all rulers who want power are bad, but that ruling is hard, and good rulers want power to help people.

I'm a bit of a classic quinton lore historian, so I think I get a little bit of how more of this lore works. We've previously seen an alternate universe quinton (multiple, actually) before.

Quinton has an evil doppelganger who only does bee movie reviews and kidnapped him, who quinton may or may not have killed.

And the evil russ scientist is probably the evil scientist we've previously seen appear as far back as the second quinton reviews review.

The evil russ scientist persona is also revealed to be quinton's dad, and for a bit also pretended to be Donald Trump, and was basically the big bad in the quinton reviews lore movie, so looking forward to whatever insane lore comes next.

please please explain the quinton reviews plot to me, I watched the video and didn't understand any of it

I havent watched every quinton video so I am probably missing aspects of Quinton Lore but from what I can tell

After doing the nickelodeon videos Quinton disappeared. This leads to Russ on his behalf uploading the nicktoons video while quinton remains trapped in a shopping mall. Quinton remains missing while Russ works on and releases the beverly hillbillies video. Theres also the evil russ scientist. It seems like russ is afflicted with some sort of dimensional curse of intermission interception.

At the same time I’m convinced that the quinton lore also features multiple fake quintons. I think theyre the result of the frequent jokes of quinton time travelling. However we have intermission quinton, dead people quinton, and what I think is a split between quinton reviews and quinton re2s.

Theres also the weird second quinton who appeared in keyan carlile’s suite life on deck video who is seemingly like a different guy with a much more aggressive personality. If you watch that section youll know what i mean.

Anyways im eagerly awaiting more quinton lore personally. Even tho im probably like completely wrong here.

i think its a little underappreciated that grrm allows his main characters to be disabled and hurt. tyrion's dwarfism and bran's paralysis are obvious but also dany's infertility?? jon's pains and scarring after he burns his hand fighting the Others?? ned's broken leg plagues him for months and the scars on cat's palms consistently ache and phantom pains haunt jaime through out asos and the arrow brienne took to her leg does actual harm instead of just leaving a neat scar and when biter chews off brienne's cheek she's visibly disfigured afterwards. theres no brushing over any of their injuries and all of them are consistently affecting them even after they heal. or don't heal. lady stoneheart and beric dondarrion carry their injuries even after they die. the gashes on stoneheart's face stay even when she comes back and beric never regains his eye. dany stays infertile thats not something that can be reversed. the same way tyrion's injuries after the battle of the blackwater cant be reversed and jon's scars can't be erased bc at the end of the day when ur disabled theres no cure for that. u just have to Deal with it no matter how difficult it is and i think its nice when fictional characters still find a way to push through it the same way we do
