Print Letters With Mail Merge
When you're sending out letters, labels or envelopes to a group of people, you can save time by printing them with mail merge. This feature combines a Word document with data in an Excel sheet or another source file to create documents that feel personal.
To start a mail merge, open a document and select the Mailings tab. Then, click Start Mail Merge. Choose the type of document you want to create, such as a letter or label, and then click Next.

In the main document, insert an address block by clicking in the address field in the Mailings pane. When the document is merged with data, the AddressBlock>> merge field will get replaced with the actual information from the Excel source file. You can also add a greeting line by clicking Greeting Line in the Mailings pane and then selecting the format you want to use.
You can also use the arrow buttons in the Mailings pane to move forward or backward through the results. If you're using the Greeting Line format, be sure to test the letter before you finalize the merge by selecting Test Greeting Line.
To complete the merge, click Finish & Merge on the Mailings ribbon. When you do, a dialog box appears asking how you want to handle the remaining documents in the set. You can edit individual documents, print them or send the documents to an email list. If you chose to edit individual documents, Word will open them in a separate editing session. If you selected to print them or send them to an email list, a print or email dialog box will appear for each document in the set.

Mail/packages for graduating students will be forwarded for 90 days from graduation. Graduates must turn in their keys and provide a forwarding address to the mailroom staff before graduation or they will be charged a $50 fee. You can print and reprint checks and send and resend multiple ACH (advices) after transaction entry via the Print/Email Checks screen. This option is available in the Banks module computer checks menu and in the Payments tab. To print a check, select the check and click Print.
If you want to reprint a check, select the check from the list and click Reprint. The selected check will be reprinted on blank stock papers using the selected form design. The original check number will remain the same. You can also choose to reprint and resend the non-negotiable Advice PDF as well.
To email a check, select the check from the List and click Email. The selected check will be sent to your payee on-demand as a one-time printable PDF. The payee can then print it on blank stock papers and deposit it at the bank like a regular paper check. eChecks are highly secure and can be tracked so you know the payee has received it.
