8 and 83 with Prinxiety
8. You’re so f*cking hot when you’re mad.83. You’re just leaving me here? At least have the decency to finish me off with a stick.
Believe it or not, I was hoping somebody would give me #8. I’ve got ideas, and prinxiety fits perfectly into them. That other one is really random though. And again, I don’t cuss and neither does Thomas so forgive me for using substitute words.
Roman ran through the fairy tale forest as fast as he could. He felt fire catch on the trees behind him because the heat was so intense.
Today’s daydream wasn’t exactly going according to plan.
“GIVE IT BACK” a voice boomed across the landscape.
“Never! You will have to defeat me first!” Roman yelled behind him.
Though, this was pretty fun. Maybe he should trick the emo jerk into playing with him more often.
Roman ran into a huge stone wall. A fortress? When did that get there? Was Anxiety adding to his landscape? That fiend. He had just gotten it the way he liked it.
He stood his ground with his back to the fortress and his katana in hand. A fire burned to form wall in front of him, barring his escape. Anxiety emerged from the fiery wall not wearing his hoodie. The snow on the ground melted around him. He pointed to the black hoodie tucked into the prince’s belt.
“Give it back, Roman,” Anxiety said. “Or at least let me make a new one. Or do you want me to ruin you day?”
Roman smiled mischievously. “You’re so amazingly hot when you’re mad,” He said.
Just as he predicted, Anxiety’s flame grew hotter. Roman laughed dramatically. “Wasn’t I supposed to be the fire elemental, you witch?”
“Oh, so you want a witch do you?” Anxiety said. “Be careful what you wish for, your stupidness,”
“Alright, that is your worst insult yet. I can stand being burned, but if you are not going to put half an effort into your insults then… What are you doing?”
Anxiety moved his arms, and the fire turned black. It twisted and turned and warped until it formed itself into a tornado around the prince, trapping him. Then it forced him further and further back until the tornado of black magic collapsed the stone wall behind him, pinning him under several feet of stone bricks.
Anxiety began walking away. Roman didn’t know what to say here, so he just blurted out the first thing that came to mind.
“You’re leaving me here? At least have the decency to finish me off with a stick!”
Anxiety broke a stick off a nearby tree and pointed it at Roman in a very Harry Potter type fashion. The hoodie flew out of Roman’s belt and Anxiety caught it and put it back on.
“Daydream over, Princey,” Anxiety said. “And don’t let me catch you barring me from doing things again,”

Something just like this
I LOVE this song and I wanted to write about it for a long time so here it is.
LogicxPrince (tagged as Logince)
———
“I want something just like this”
Sometimes, Logic found himself laying on his bedroom, reading a book about champions and knights and princes and super heroes. At the same time, he liked to listen to a song that talked exactly about that, about risks that would be taken if one fell in love with any of those categories of people. And honestly, being a person that hates taking risks almost as much as Anxiety, he found it hard to let go and just imagine what his life would be like if he had a lover with all those attributes.
But one day, he had been tired, working on a project for at least two days straight with less than five hours of sleep, so when he got to his room, all he could do was put on the song ‘Something just like this’ and close his eyes, trying and failing to get some well deserved sleep.
Because of his failed attempt, he decided to open his eyes and stare at the starry sky over his bed, smiling at the brightness of the galaxies, the mystery of the nebulas. He loved that their rooms could be anything inside Thomas’ mind, because sometimes it was the only place where he could truly relax.
And that day, thinking he was alone, he imagined in the end of the sky a castle. A space castle. And from there, a constellation prince came closer, reaching out for him, trying to take him by the hand and failing because he was sky and Logic was earth. They could never unite.
And then, someone opened the door, and both the prince and Logic looked down to see the actual Prince staring at them, confused and obviously admired.
Logic had forgotten the door open. Shit.
“R-Roman!” Logic said, his room suddenly losing all its beautiful attributes and becoming, well, his usual room with grey walls and white ceiling and wood floor. “What are you doing here? Don’t you know how to knock?”
“I did, but you didn’t answer” he said, walking inside and smiling at Logic. “That was beautiful. Who was he?”
“He? He who?” Logic asked, looking away, but Prince chuckled, closing the door before rushing to sit next to Logic.
“The prince in the skies” the royal said, smiling. “Is he your lover? The one person that you love?” He asked, excited, and Logic frowned, laying down and curling up with his back to Prince.
“I don’t love anyone. I don’t know what you’re talking about Roman” he mumbled, closing his eyes. He was tired, and he didn’t want to discuss the subject. He really didn’t. But Prince was different from the others. He had no sense of personal space.
“Come on Logan” he said, taking the teacher’s hand. “I know that’s not true! Tell me who it was! Is it someone or is it just an imaginary lover?”
“More latter” Logic mumbled, and then slowly turned back around, staring at their joined hands. “Stop touching me”
“Alright” Prince said, letting go from him and grinning. “Now tell me. Tell me everything”
“Ugh…” Logic groaned, rubbing his eyes and sitting up. “Do you know the song 'Something just like this’?” Prince nodded. “Well, it really speaks to me… For some reason. You know, I read so many fiction books, from Aristoteles’ scholar texts to Fifty Shades of Grey, and yet nothing, nothing comes close to my passion for Princes and Knights, like the ones from King Arthur and those tales from the Dark Ages, or even Robin Hood. It’s so weird that someone like me has such… Interest in people like them, driven only by their courage and beliefs” he said, sighing and looking at Prince. “I don’t know…”
“I understand” Prince said, smiling softly at Logic. “I honestly never thought I would have a crush in such a strict and smart teacher” he continued, smile becoming a smirk, and Logic’s tired mind took at least a minute to understand what those words meant. And when he did, he blushed lightly and looked up at Prince again.
“That’s not what I meant” he said, weakly, but Prince shrugged, holding his hand again.
“Well, I’m the closest you will get” he said, tangling their fingers and making the teacher blush deeper. “I can be your knight, if you want”
“Roman, what are you d-” Logic tried, but soon the royal was leaning in and pressing their lips together and Logic took two seconds to melt, his free hand going up to Prince’s hair, pulling him closer and kissing back in the most excited way.
And even though Roman was no real knight, Logan had to admit:
It was better than any of his dreams.

I went out of my hiatus for like five seconds to tell you. I NEED MORE OF THE HIGHSCHOOL ANALOGICAL BECAUSE HOLY SHIT I LOVE IT -analogically-prinxiety
Well, here you go. Part II of The Most Awkward Semester Ever. I hope you like it.
Logan had come up with a brilliant idea.
Of course, he frequently came up with brilliant ideas, but for once this did not entirely fall into the realm of academia. This idea also held a social component.
He and Anxiety had been continuing to meet for the past two weeks. They had decided to do their project on Lord Byron, as Anxiety had seemed especially interested in him. Logan could admit he was a fascinating figure. And he was the father of Ada Lovelace!
So they had begun the preliminary research into Byron’s biography and time period, but had yet to decide on a poem. That was what this meeting was for. However, unlike their previous meetings, they would not be at the library.
Logan had noticed that despite his efforts to seem approachable and less intimidating, Anxiety still seemed incredibly nervous around him. Thus Logan had concocted his plan.
On Friday, he had invited Anxiety to come over to his house on Saturday for their next study session, instead of going to the library. His hope was that by meeting in a less formal setting, Anxiety would relax more, and become more comfortable with him. To this end, he had also arranged several entertaining activities to partake in when they were done with studying.
He looked around the room. Everything had been set up. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of snacks. His notebooks were ready and waiting on the dining table, and the puzzles and other objects of entertainment had been placed in the living room. Now all he awaited was Anxiety’s arrival.
He nodded to himself, satisfied. Yes, this was going to go perfectly.
This was going to be a disaster.
Anxiety stared up the house in front of him. “I don’t think I can do this,” he said shakily. “Maybe I should just go home and crawl back into bed.”
Behind him, Roman sighed. “First of all, it’s two in the afternoon,” he said exasperated, “And secondly, I did not pick you up and drive you all the way here for you to chicken out and leave. Buck up, Debbie Downer. You’re going to do this.”
“And what if I screw this up and he hates me,” Anxiety said through gritted teeth, trying not to let his knees shake. Why had he agreed to this? Oh, that’s right, Logan had smiled at him, and his brain had turned to mush. Something that would undoubtedly happen again, making him look even more stupid.
“Look, Anxiety,” Roman sighed, drawing him out of his thoughts. “I’m sure you’ll be fine. But, I suppose, if it really gets bad, you can text me, and I’ll come and get you.”
Anxiety looked down at his feet. Roman may have annoyed the heck out of him sometimes, but he actually was a really good friend. “Thanks,” he said softly.
“Yeah, whatever,” Roman said, waving him off, “Now get in there and have a wonderful date!”
Anxiety flushed. “It’s not a date!” he shouted.
But Roman only laughed, getting back in the car. “Whatever you say, Anxiety, whatever you say.”
Anxiety took it all back. Roman was dead to him.
He turned back towards Logan’s house. Right, time to face the music.
He trudged to the door, feeling his mouth dry up and his palms begin to sweat. Why was he so useless around his crush? Still there wasn’t another choice. He knocked on the door.
Logan opened it almost immediately. (Had he been waiting by the door for him?
“Ah, Anxiety, excellent,” he said, stepping to the side, “Please come in.”
Still feeling like his heart was going to beat out of his chest, Anxiety stepped inside. He glanced around. It seemed like an average home. Not too fancy, but still fairly nice.
“My parents are still at work,” Logan explained, closing the door, “So we’ll have the place to ourselves.”
“S-sounds good,” Anxiety mumbled. So he was alone with Logan. That was …fine.
“Do you want something to eat?” Logan continued, “I have snacks in the kitchen.”
“I’m fine with whatever,” Anxiety replied, carefully keeping his eyes on the floor. “I don’t- I don’t want to be a bother.”
“It’s not bother at all,” Logan assured him. “Come, the kitchen is this way.”
Anxiety could only follow behind Logan helplessly. Why did he have to be so nice? If he had turned out to be a terrible person, this would have been so much easier.
Logan kept sneaking glances back towards Anxiety. The other boy still looked uncomfortable and unsure. But he had only just come in. Logan was sure he could change that.
Upon reaching the kitchen, he went to the counter where he had placed the snacks earlier. Since Anxiety hadn’t specified what he wanted, and he’d previously checked to see if the other had any food allergies, he grabbed the peanut butter filled pretzels, some watermelon slices, and since Anxiety had liked them last time, chocolate chip cookies.
Careful to keep the plates balanced, Logan turned to face Anxiety. “I have my notes out in the dining room, so we can sit there if you like?”
Anxiety only nodded. He was still looking at the floor. Logan resisted the urge to frown. His plan would work.
He quickly made his way to the living room, and after setting the snacks down, pulled out a chair for Anxiety.
Once they had both sat down, Logan decided to engage in some small talk. Not something he normally did, but it might help Anxiety relax. “So do you have any other plans for the weekend?”
Anxiety seemed to struggle for words for a moment, before hesitantly replying, “No, not really. Just homework, I guess.”
“I don’t either,” Logan confessed. “I often find social interaction to be draining, so I tend to limit my engagement. Your company is quite pleasant though.”
It wasn’t a lie. Logan really did like spending time with the other. He was intelligent, not overly loud, and the sarcastic remarks he let slip when he relaxed made Logan chuckle. He just wanted the other to stop flinching from him.
It didn’t look like the words had been quite as reassuring as he’d hoped though, as Anxiety looked ready to fall out of his chair.
“Oh-you-I-uh, thank.. you” Anxiety finally said, sounding somewhat strangled. “You-you’re-uh- not. You’re pretty- pretty cool too. Should- should we work on poetry now?”
His voice had grown oddly high-pitched by the end of his sentence. Perhaps it was time to move onto the project. Clearly small talk was not Anxiety’s forte either.
“Yes, let’s.” he agreed. “Have you any suggestions as to which poem we should analyze? I find it’s difficult for me to choose. There is of course the classic Byron poem ‘She walks in Beauty’, but I am also fond of the poem ‘Thou art Dead, as Young and Fair’. What are your thoughts?”
“Oh, well, I really liked ‘Darkness’,” Anxiety mumbled. “A-and ‘Prometheus’, since it’s got all the references to Greek mythology and stuff.”
Logan ran through the poems in his mind. They were both dark in tone, which he wasn’t surprised by. Anxiety did seem to enjoy that sort of thing, given his interest in the Romantic poets. As for the last sentence…
“Do you enjoy Greek mythology then?” he asked, eager to get the other to open up.
“Yeah,” Anxiety said, “I do. I know it’s a little weird, but I just think those stories are just interesting, and kind of cool, I guess. I don’t know, it doesn’t really matter.”
Logan interrupted before Anxiety could self-depricate anymore. “No, no, I agree. They are quite fascinating. I suggest we choose ‘Prometheus’ then, as it has something we’re both interested in.”
Anxiety looked up, actually meeting Logan’s eyes, and there was even a hint of a smile on his face. “Sounds good,” he replied.
Logan managed to keep his expression neutral, but it was near thing. His plan was working. He truly was brilliant. Now to work on the poem.
For the next hour, they went through the poem together, working out it’s meaning, making notes on literary devices, and essentially setting the ground work for their more in-depth explication needed for the project.
As they went on, Anxiety seemed to unwind a little more and had begun casually snacking on the food Logan had set out. At the moment, he was munching on a watermelon slice.
“I think we’re going to have to talk about, like, Christian influences too,” he was saying, “cause aside from the obvious Greek stuff, some of this sounds pretty Christian, with all the mentions of Spirit and things like that.”
Logan hummed. “I agree,” he said, “That would be a good place to tie in the cultural and social influences, as Christianity was quite a predominate influence in Western Europe at that time.”
“Sounds good,” Anxiety muttered, setting down his watermelon, to make a note on his paper. As he did, Logan noticed that he had a watermelon seed stuck on his cheek.
“Oh, hold still,” he said absentmindedly, going to wipe it off.
After he had done so though, Anxiety was staring at him as though Logan had just slapped him, his eyes wide, and his shoulders pulled up tightly around him. All of the progress he had made in getting the other to relax had been undone.
Logan scolded himself mentally. He shouldn’t have invaded the other’s personal space, clearly the fear hadn’t fully dissipated, and he had pushed the boundaries.
Internally, Anxiety was just screaming.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Hetouchedme.WhatdoIdo?WhatdoIdo?
Wait, Logan had said something. He blinked, trying to refocus.
As if sensing his distraction, Logan repeated, “Are you alright?”
Anxiety wasn’t sure what kind of noise he made in reply, but judging by Logan’s frown, it wasn’t a good one. Great, just great. Now the other was really going to hate him.
But then he spoke again. “Perhaps we should take a break. Would you care to work on a puzzle with me?”
Puzzle. Yeah, he could do a puzzle. Puzzles were good and helped his brain calm down. Not trusting himself to speak without any more embarrassing noises coming out, he just nodded.
“Great,” Logan replied briskly, “They’re in the living room, so let’s move there.”
Anxiety silently followed Logan. When they got to the living room, Logan pulled out a pretty large collection of puzzles. Anxiety’s eyes swept over them. There was everything from famous art pieces to Disney. It was impressive.
“You can pick one out,” Logan told him. Well, that didn’t put any pressure on him at all.
After spending another minute looking them over, Anxiety finally settled on a galaxy puzzle. It looked pretty cool.
Logan smiled when he pulled it from the pile. “Good choice,” he said, “That’s one of my favorites. Come, we can set it up on the floor.”
Anxiety moved to sit beside Logan so they were both leaning against the couch, puzzle spread out in front of them. Part of him felt like Logan was still too close for him to properly focus, but he pushed the feeling away. He was not going to make an idiot of himself again.
Swallowing his nerves, he began to look for the corner pieces. When he had found them, he held them out the other with a shaky smile. He could keep it together for a bit longer. He had just had to stay cool.
He was totally going to scream when he got home though.

Returning the Favor
So this is a sequel to Sensory Overload. I hope you enjoy it.
They hadn’t talked about the incident. Once Logan’s senses had come back down to acceptable levels, he had hunted down Anxiety to return the headphones, and also to thank him yet again for being so considerate. But Anxiety has just brushed him off, taking the headphones and fleeing, seeming uncomfortable at praise.
As such, Logan had been keeping an eye out, looking for another way he could repay the darker side for his kindness. He didn’t plan to make a big dramatic gesture or anything so Roman-eque, but he did wish for some way to express his appreciation.
Now, he thought studying Anxiety carefully, I just might have found it.
They were at a board game night. It had been Morality’s suggestion, but one Logan had been happy to go along with. He quite enjoyed board games, especially Scrabble. Prince also seemed to be enjoying himself.
However, throughout the entire experience, Anxiety had been in even more foul mood than normal. He had snapped, and scowled, and even hissed at Morality, of all people.
At first, Logan had just thought him to be grumpy from the forced social interaction. But then after a particularly poor roll had sent Prince down a very long chute in Chutes and Ladders, causing him to shout in frustration, Logan noticed Anxiety flinch.
Concerned, he began to watch the other more intently. He soon noticed the way Anxiety kept his face low, bent away from the lights, and how his shoulders tensed more and more every time someone spoke.
Logan was sure that Anxiety was suffering similar to the way he had been in the weeks earlier. Sensory overload was sometimes a symptom of anxiety. However, the problem came in trying to solve it. He doubted Anxiety wanted him to call attention to the situation, but the game night was unlikely to end soon without intervention.
Just then, Anxiety snarled, “Screw you!” at Prince, as the other reached out to pat him condescendingly on the back. His snarl was low and vicious, but Logan was much more focused on the way he shrunk away from the touch, and how his hands were clenched white-fisted around the front of his hoodie. This had to end now.
Logan stood up, dusting himself off. Morality looked up in confusion.
“Where are you going, champ?” he asked.
“I am experiencing a sudden headache,” Logan said curtly. “My apologies for the interference, but perhaps we can continue game night another time.”
He held his breath, hoping the others would believe him. While he did have Thomas’s acting skills to draw on, he was not experienced at lying. So he could only hope that others fell for his act.
Morality, at least, didn’t seem to sense any deception, as his face instantly filled with concern.
“Don’t apologize!” Morality said, “It’s not your fault. Of course, we can postpone game night. It’s not the same without you there. You just go and get some rest, okay? And let me know if you need anything.”
Logan nodded, relieved it had worked. As he left the room, he noticed that while Morality and Prince had stayed behind to clean up, Anxiety was following him. Not acknowledging him, he made his way to his room. Once he had reached the door, he turned around.
“Yes?”
“You don’t have a headache,” Anxiety stated, cutting right to the chase. “I could tell you were lying. What gives?”
“You’re right,” Logan replied calmly, “I lied. But you, on the other hand, were in distress. Given your own consideration and help when I was in a similar situation, I felt it was my duty and privilege to return the favor, as it were.”
Anxiety stared at him, clearly surprised. Logan took the opportunity to study him. Now that Anxiety’s defensive snarling had eased up, it was easier to tell he was unwell. He looked paler than normal, the corners of his eyes were pinched, and an air of exhaustion hung off him.
“You’re also welcome to stay and recover in my room” Logan offered. “Prince and Morality are unlikely to intrude here, given my earlier deception. And I assure you that I am more than capable of being quiet.
Anxiety eyed him, much in the way a feral cat might eye a stranger offering them food.
“Let me get my headphones,” he finally said.
“Unnecessary,” Logan told him. “After realizing how soothing your headphones were, I obtained my own pair, and you are welcome to borrow them.”
“Oh,” Anxiety’s voice was soft, “thanks then.”
“It is my pleasure,” Logan said. “Come, you can lay down.”
“Are those weighted blankets?” Anxiety said, upon entering his room.
Logan nodded. “You are allowed to borrow those as well, if you wish.”
Anxiety glanced at him, looking unsure, but Logan kept his gaze calm and without judgement. After a moment of further hesitation, Anxiety grabbed the blankets, along with the headphones on top of his desk, and went curl up on Logan’s bed, burrowed under the blankets in a manner reminiscent of many small rodents, his eyes falling closed in relief.
Logan let himself smile. In moments like this, Anxiety was undeniably adorable. Careful to keep his footsteps soft, he made his way to the chair beside the window, and sat down. He’d watch over Anxiety till the other was ready to leave. It was the least he could do.

For a tree and a broken leg
My soulmate AU for the Sanders Sides. LAMP.
——–
Three soulmates?
How was he supposed to find them all?
Would they like him?
Would they accept him as one of their own?
Would he be a part of it or would he be thrown to the side like he always was?
Ann sighed deeply and moved his fingers over the tattoos on his arm. A bird, a book and the word ‘love’. He hummed and closed his eyes, thinking about those things on his skin.
He could only hope they would fall in love with him back.
——–
Three soulmates?
How was he supposed to know all their favorite flowers?
Would they like scented candles?
Would they want romantic dinners?
Would they share each other accordingly?
Roman sighed deeply and looked around all the papers surrounding him. There were drawings of houses, of dogs and cats and possible gifts for his future lovers. He was so excited, but when? How?
He looked down at the ‘love’, the book and the raining cloud tattoo, defeated.
——-
Three soulmates?
How was he supposed to know if they were real?
Would they actually love each other like normal soulmates would?
Would they have a favorite, someone they were more connected with?
Would they be treated the same by society?
Logan groaned and laid on his bed, surrounded by books, computers, anything that could give more information about this anomaly of having more than one soulmate. He was crazy about it.
The ‘love’, bird and raining crowd tattoos screamed at him, and he wanted to listen.
——-
Three soulmates?
How wasn’t he supposed to love them all?
Would they smell like flowers?
Would their hugs be the warmest and safer place to stay in?
Would they enjoy his family time time?
Patton sighed dreamily as he curled up under his blankets, holding his teddy bear closer and staring at the bird, the raining cloud and the book tattoos. He was so excited to tell them he loved them.
He couldn’t wait for the big day.
——-
It was raining.
There were birds on the tree.
There was a book getting soaked wet under it.
There was a boy getting soaked as he wrote something on the tree.
The lightening hit the tree before anyone could warn him or make any move to help. The tree caught on fire and cut in half, the broken half sliding over him and making him scream before he jumped away, his leg getting caught under the log and his body being cut by the branches and leaves.
“Help!” Patton screamed, whimpering as he felt his leg cracking, a sharp pain moving through all over his body as he screamed, sobbing desperately in the middle of the park. “HELP!”
He didn’t know how long it took, for how much time he stood there, crying in pain and screaming for help, before he heard three different voices around him and suddenly, the tree was being removed from his leg and freeing him.
“Call an ambulance!” someone screamed before they kneeled in front of him. Patton blinked his tears and the rain away, getting distracted for a second before the pain returned and he moaned. “Hey there. Stay with us. The ambulance is coming, don’t worry. My name is Roman. What is yours?”
“P-P-Pat-tton” he stuttered out, shaking, holding onto the stranger’s shirt. “Help…”
“We are helping” Roman assured and pulled him to his lap. Patton was able to see the other two, a small boy talking on the phone as another one with glasses checked his leg.
“It’s clearly broken” the boy next to his leg says before he looks up. “Sorry. My name is Logan”
“They are on their way” the boy on the phone said, kneeling next to him and smiling softly. “My name is Ann. Are you okay?”
Patton groaned and closed his eyes, trying to ignore the severe pain on his leg.
“Your clothing has been ripped in several parts…” Roman mutters worriedly, looking down at Patton’s left shoulder and freezing. “You… is this a soulmate tattoo?”
Patton groaned and looked at him while both Ann and Logan stared at him, angrily.
“Not the time to care about soulmates mister” Logan said angrily, but Patton nodded slowly.
“Yes… why..?” he asked, shakily, voice a bit broken from the crying and screaming, before Roman pulled his sleeve up, showing the three tattoos to Patton, and consequently to the other two. “You…”
“I am one of your soulmates!” Roman said happily, and Patton smiled before groaning in pain again. “Oh my… over a broken leg? Is that how we meet? What a terrible conv…” he froze, and Patton looked at the side, where two other set of arms were showing off the tattoos.
“You…” Patton mumbled, before he groaned in pain, his leg aching. “I-I love you a-all but ca-can we dis-c-cuss this after I-I’m hospitalized?” he asked, shakily, and the other three nodded slowly, still shaken.
“So… we are each other’s soulmates” Ann mumbled, staring at his tattoos, and Logan nodded slowly.
“Precisely…”
“Well… it couldn’t have been more romantic than this” Roman said cheerfully, but Patton just groaned.
“Just for you…”
Soon enough, the ambulance arrived and all of them went to the hospital to wait for Patton and discuss about their new findings.
And yes, they would all love Ann the same.
And yes, they all liked scented candles.
And yes, they would all treat each other the same.
But Patton surely wasn’t in the mood for any ‘I love you’s after his broken leg.

Mornings
Logan groaned and halfheartedly muttered something about ‘kids’, almost falling asleep at his desk. He’d been up all night marking papers, and hadn’t gotten a wink of sleep. Well, except for when he nodded off and his head slammed into the desk at 3am.
Now it was 8 in the morning, and he felt exhausted. 'Maybe a glass of orange juice will help,’ Logic decided, not really putting much thought into it. He finally stood up, stretching his sore legs and arms out. He left his room, hair a mess from having it tugged and pulled all night.
He entered the kitchen and grabbed a glass and the oj, beginning to pour.
“Morning, Lo,” Patton greeted as he swung into the kitchen. Logan looked up and couldn’t help but stare. Morality’s bed hair was present, which rarely happened, and it looked amazing. His heart rate increased and he felt his throat become dry. The golden rays of the morning sun coming through the window hit Patton’s skin and made it glow, making the personality glow.
“Um, are you alright? Patton asked the other. Logan blushed and looked back at his glass, which was overflowing.
He got distracted by pure beauty, and now his orange juice was everywhere
“Oh, shit,” Logan cursed, quickly stopping the flow of the juice. He panicked and ran around the kitchen for something to clean it up. He mind was foggy and he couldn’t focus properly, just because he was in Patton’s presence.
“Here, Lo, the dish cloth.” Patton walked over to the sink and grabbed it for the other, beginning to wipe the juice up.
“T- thanks,” Logan stuttered. He fell against the bench, exhausted, but still staring at the other in awe.
“Take a picture, it’ll last longer,” Morality said with a wink. Logic just smiled and shook his head fondly, crossing the kitchen and scooping his boyfriend into his arms. He peppered kisses all over the other’s face, causing lots of blushing and giggling from the elevated personality.
“I can’t help it, Pat, you’re extremely cute this morning.” Logan continued to kiss all over the other, making sure to cover every inch of his face and neck, before carrying him away to a place where they could rest in the morning sun.

Anxiety deals with a food allergy he didn't know he had- by not telling anyone. At least until he almost dies during one of Patton's 'family dinners'. [Any ship, angst then kinda fluffy if you can~]
Title: Oh, You’reVegan
Pairing: Technicallyjust platonic, but you get some Anxiety/Patton and Anxiety/Roman subtext inparts.
Warnings:Descriptions of anaphylactic shock and the general panic that comes with that
Word Count: 1125
A/N: It’s impliedthat this is a Human AU, but I’m still referring to Anxiety as Anxiety. I wishwe could learn his name already!
The “family dinners” that Patton insisted on were annoying.Anxiety didn’t like leaving his room much, let alone socialize with the three othermen that he lived with. He tried to get out of the dinners as much as possible, especially ever since he began eating as vegan. He’s only told Logan about thatbecause he knew that Logan would be the one to actually pick up on it. But otherthan that, he’s kept it to himself. He didn’t need Princey making fun of hiseating choices, nor did he want Patton fussing over him.
Still. That was going to make this dinner awkward.
“Kiddo!” He heard Patton calling from the kitchen. “It’stime to eat!”
“We’re the same age. I’m not a kid,” Anxiety groaned as hegot to his feet.
Everyone was already at the table when he arrived. Pattonwas serving up the food while Logan and Roman were seated.
“Hey, Pat,” Anxiety sighed, leaning in the doorway, “I’m notfeeling too hot tonight, so—”
“Oh, no you don’t,” said Roman. He turned around in hisseat. “Patton spent a lot of time preparing this meal, so you are going to sitdown and eat with the rest of us. You can’t keep skipping these dinners!”
Anxiety rolled his eyes. “It’s not that big of a deal.”
Logan cleared his throat. “I think you should at least joinus at the table. We would…enjoy your company.”
Anxiety almost laughed out loud at such an absurd statement, but he still walked over and took his seat. Patton looked thrilled. When theywere all seated, the boys began to eat, but Anxiety didn’t touch his plate.
“Now you won’t even eat?” Roman asked with a sharp look.
“I said I’m not feeling good.”
Roman shook his head and looked back at his food. “I thinkyou’re just being a brat.”
Anxiety glared and picked up his knife. “You wanna run thatby me again, Princey?”
“I’m only saying, if you want to offend Patton by not eatinghis food, then go ahead. You’re only being a bothersome presence at this table.”
Patton shifted and clunked his utensils awkwardly againsthis plate. “I thought we all agreed that we would try to not fight…”
Anxiety was already shoveling the food into his mouth, losing his good judgment for a moment just to spite Roman. Who did he think heis? Anxiety was just trying to enjoy himself and if he was going to be such anuisance then he would have stayed in his room, but it was Roman who insistedthat he stay! He was just goading him, Anxiety knew it, but he was never goodat resisting provocation.
As he ate, wanting to get all of it down at once so hereally could have an excuse to leave, Anxiety began to feel something akin todread in the pit of his stomach. He slowed his eating a little, assuming thatthat was the answer, but the feelings only worsened. He felt dizzy all of asudden and his heart felt like it was racing.
“Anxiety..?” Logan asked cautiously as he lowered his fork. “You’returning a little red.”
Anxiety swallowed down what was left in his mouth. “Pat,” hesaid, his voice sounding a little hoarse. It was getting hard to breathe. “Arethere eggs in this?”
Patton looked up, looking as confused as the other two. “Um…yes?”
“Oh, shi…” Anxiety stood up, and all at once he was hit withdizziness that nearly sent him to the ground. Luckily Roman’s reflexes werelike a cat’s, and he caught Anxiety before his knees completely buckled.
“What’s going on?” Roman asked. Anxiety may have beenflattered at the panic in his voice if it wasn’t for how hard it was to breath.Anxiety gasped and it was like breathing through a straw.
Logan was at their side in a minute. “It looks like anaphylaxis.Anxiety, do you need epinephrine? Do you need an epipen?” Anxiety managed anod. “Do you have one?”
“Room,” Anxiety managed to choke out.
Anxiety couldn’t focus on what was going on around himanymore, between being unable to take a full breath and the dizziness thatturned his focus upside down. He heard Logan say something, and though he heardsomeone else run out of the room, but Anxiety couldn’t tell anymore. He grippedtightly onto Roman’s—that was Roman, right?—shirt and tried to focus onbreathing. Black dots danced in his vision and the panic in his chest felt likeit was going to burst.
Then all at once, his airway opened and Anxiety gasped, gulping down air. With the panic disappearing, fatigue fell over Anxiety andhis hand released Roman’s shirt. He closed his eyes and lay on the ground, justbreathing and trying to calm down after that whole nearly dying thing.
A hand smoothed over his hair and another held his hand, squeezing it periodically like a comforting heartbeat.
“That’s right, just relax, kiddo,” he heard Patton whisper.Anxiety opened his eyes slowly. Patton was kneeling over him, smoothing hishair and holding his hand. Roman was sitting back, looking dazed, and Loganheld the epipen that Patton probably got. How Patton managed to find it in hismess of a room that quickly, Anxiety didn’t know, but he was grateful. “You’reokay now. You’re okay.”
Logan let out a slow sigh and set the epipen down on thetable. “So that’s why you’re vegan.”
“You’re vegan?!”Roman groaned. He rubbed his hands over his face. “Oh my word.”
Patton brushed Anxiety’s bangs out of his eyes and gave hima soft but kind of sad smile. Anxiety didn’t want him to be sad. “You gottatell me these things. I would have made something different if you told me.”
“Stubborn,” Anxiety muttered with a half-smile. It madePatton’s smile look a little more genuine, which made Anxiety happy.
“Yes, you are quite stubborn. But I promise I’ll stop buyingeggs every week.”
Anxiety might have laughed at that if he wasn’t soexhausted.
Logan took off his glasses and cleaned them with his specialglass wipe. Only a nerd would do that. It was good to know that he couldrecover so quickly, Anxiety supposed. “We’ll still have to take him to thehospital to get checked out by a doctor and make sure that there won’t be afollow up attack.”
“Yeah, yeah, just let him catch his breath, alright?” Patton’shand moved and his thumb stroked Anxiety’s cheek gently. “Just rest for acouple more minutes okay?”
Anxiety let out a soft hum and closed his eyes, for oncehappy that he was surrounded by his favorite idiots.

I'd Hate Me Too
I wrote angst. Read it on AO3!
Summary: Anxiety knows the others don’t care for him.
Anxiety sighed as he heard the others talking in the common room, looking down at his bowl of cereal. It was midday, but he had only just gotten up, finally convinced by the rumbling of his stomach. The others sounded like they were having fun. He knew that he should disturb them when they were in such a good mood. Besides, it wasn’t like he was needed. Thomas wasn’t making a video. That didn’t stop him from shuffling towards the common room, peeking around the corner.
They were watching something. Together. A movie. Of course.
Anxiety swallowed, recognising it as one of his favorites. Not that it mattered. He could watch it later. By himself. In his room. He needed to eat, Anxiety reasoned with himself. And so he took himself back to his room, sitting on his desk as he ate and scrolling through Tumblr, wondering what he should do today.
He couldn’t make a plan for work, like Logic usually did, or slay dragons like Prince. He couldn’t even make food, or do responsible adult stuff, like Morality. He was just Anxiety. Just useless. The cereal became a little harder to swallow with that, but he forced it down. He already knew that starving himself was useless.
Looking around his room, he noticed the guitar case sitting in the corner. He hadn’t played in… forever. He had never been very good at it, but the way the strings made his fingers ache after playing for too long had been a comfort to him once upon a time. An escape, at least for a while. It called quietly to Anxiety, coaxing him to put his finished bowl and phone down. To unbuckle old clasps, and pull out the familiar instrument. Sitting on his bed with it resting on his knee was second nature, even after not practicing for so long.
The notes didn’t come as easily to him as they used to, of course. But that didn’t stop him from trying an old song that he had once learned. He tried to play quietly so he wouldn’t disturb the movie, not wanting for them to notice, or worse, ask him when or how he’d learned. He didn’t want to tell him what he used to do when he couldn’t sleep. His bouts of insomnia were only for him and Thomas to know about.
It was easy to settle into practiced chords and strumming patterns, and at some point Anxiety had closed his eyes, trying to focus only on the music and the feeling of strings pressing into the pads of his fingers. He didn’t dare stop until they were numb and twitching and a little shaky. Then, reluctantly, he set the guitar down, staring at his shaking hands with a long sigh. It had been nice to let his mind go blank, for once. To stop all the thoughts.
It was time to return to reality, however, which meant facing the music. He could see the outline of feet from under his door. No doubt someone was waiting for him to tell him off for interrupting the movie.
What he did not expect, however, was for Roman to be smiling at him when he opened the door. “You absolutely must play a song with me.” The regal persona declared.
“Did… you hit your head, Princey?” Anxiety glanced around, checking that Pranks hadn’t put him up to this. “And why aren’t you watching the movie with the others?”
An expression that looked somewhat like a wince crossed Roman’s face, and he glanced back at the common room. The sounds of the movie could be heard faintly, even from where the two of them were standing. Which was saying something considering how Anxiety’s room was the furthest from the commons. “I simply didn’t feel like watching the rest of the movie.”
Anxiety stared at Roman for a few moments, his mouth dropping open slightly, just a little. That was completely unheard of. He resisted the urge to press a hand to his forehead and check his temperature. “Are you sure you’re not sick? You love Disney movies.”
“It didn’t feel right without you.”
Anxiety blinked at the admission.
And blinked again.
Then burst into giggles that were a little too high pitched to be genuine.
“Okay, Pranks, you can come out now.” He called, gripping the door as more giggles slipped out. “I get it. My playing is a joke.” He ignored the spike of pain through his heart, knowing that they’d want him to play along. He stopped laughing the moment he felt Roman cup his cheek, wiping away a tear from his face. Shit. Shit. He didn’t mean to start crying. Why was he crying? When did he start? He couldn’t cry, especially not in front of Roman. What was wrong with him?
“I wasn’t joking, Anxiety. Pranks isn’t here. I’m telling the truth.” Roman’s voice was soft, too soft, and Anxiety hated how it sounded like pity. “I’m sorry.”
He slapped away the hand still on his cheek, glaring up at Prince. He had a feeling that the tear tracks and smudged eyeshadow took away the completely murderous vibe, but that didn’t stop him. “Don’t touch me.” He huffed.
Roman looked strangely crestfallen. “Anxiety, please. Don’t shut me out.” He begged, reaching out for him again.
Anxiety’s glare became more venomous, and he gripped the handle of his door, more than ready to slam it on Roman’s face. “Are you feeling guilty? Is that what this is about? I get it, Roman. You guys don’t care about me.” He ran a hand through his hair, eyes starting to sting once more. “I accepted that a long time ago. You don’t have to pretend out of some kind of sense of princely duty.”
For once, the fanciful facet was speechless. For about three seconds, before he regained his composure. “You know that’s unfair.”
“I’m telling it how I see it.” Anxiety shrugged, pretending that the words didn’t taste like ash on his tongue. “You guys don’t like me. It’s okay. I don’t blame you.” He closed the door, slumping against it. “I’d hate me, too.”

Fic, Blurry
Teeny tiny little fic to hold you over till I get back home. I don’t need glasses so all I’m writing here is from what friends and family have told me. No warnings I can think of.
@yep-another-fander @prinxiety-logicality-ss @ts-sideblog @cherrybonesrh13 @sanderssideblog @shit-happens-bitchachos @toxicsanders @tssanderssidestrash @livenarrator @analogical-trash @remmythepegasis @anxietyandlogic @burntblackfeathers @softlogic @mira-jadeamethyst @momfriendlogan @invisibleninjah @rwriterintraining
Logan opened the door to his office and backed up as far as he could into the hallway. Okay, he could see the desk now but it didn’t look like his glasses were on it. Shoot.
He heard a footstep beside him and an abrupt stop.
“Logic? Hey, you’re not wearing your glasses either! What a coincidence,”
“Patton, what are you doing here? And how did you find your way to my office? You are extremely nearsighted,”
“Oh, I wanted to ask if you know where my glasses are. You can figure out anything,” Morality said
Logan tried to focus on the blurry blue, and in places tan, shape next to him.
“That, that still doesn’t answer my question. Am I even looking at you right now?”
Patton squinted. “I can read Braille and there are signs to your office. Took me a while to find it though. Yeah, I think you’re looking at me, Logan. Your face is a little blurry but that’s definitely your face. Roman’s not that serious and Anxiety wears eyeshadow. Uh, you’re not wearing eyeshadow are you?”
“No, I am not. Morality, I placed my glasses down momentarily to look at what was happening out the window but then hit them on accident and now I can’t find them. Could you look at the floor and on my desk? I cannot see anything less than about twenty feet away,”
“Okay, whatever you say, teach!” Patton said. “Just point me towards the door,”
Logan had to try a couple of times before he could actually find the shoulders of the more optimistic side, but he did find them and pointed him towards the office door. Patton found the doorframe by touch and looked at the side of it.
“Awww. You have a little name tag!” Patton exclaimed.
“Morality, focus!” Logic said, making his way to the door from memory.
His office blurred as he got closer. If he could search from across a street then they’d be in business.
Patton looked closely at the desk and around it. Eventually he found Logic’s glasses by the wastebasket by the door.
“Found them” Morality said, holding them up.
“Perfect. Now give them here and… augh!”
Logic sucked in air through his teeth. Ouch.
“Logan? What happened!?” Morality cried out.
“I just hit my hip on the desk. Just give them here,“Logan said, holding out his hand.
Morality, with a bit of difficulty, placed the glasses in Logic’s hand.
“Thank you,” Logan said, putting the glasses on.
Then he paused. “Um, Patton? It would appear your glasses are on your head,”
“What?” Patton said, reaching up.
“Oh, that’s right! I was reading the newspaper!” Patton put his glasses back on. “There you are!” He beamed.
“Get out of my office, please,”
“Okay, catch ya later. Bye!” Morality said, waving as he left.
Logic sighed and returned to his work.

Anxiety with non-binary dysphoria. [Angst~~~. Sorry to everyone, including Anx. Especially Anx. Prinxiety for bonus points.]
Title: Dysphoria
Pairing:Prinxiety
Warnings:Dysphoria and misgendering
Word Count: 1170
Tag List: @pattonpending @finiteframe3, @polysandershell @momfriendlogan @simplypurelyinsane @mira-jadeamethyst @pippa-frost @bossatronia @slightly-functioningsociopath @tsship
A/N: Human AU.Anx’s name is Zion. They/Them pronouns. Anxiety’s dysphoric reactions are basedoff of how I react when I get really anxious and upset. Also this didn’t turnout as angsty as I thought it would so you’re welcome.
Zion’s leg bounced up and down impatiently. They and theirroommates were all piled into Patton’s minivan as it just barely squeezed intothe McDonald’s drive-thru.
“Hello, welcome toMcDonald’s. What can I do for you?” The cashier’s voice crackled over thesmall speaker.
“Hi, yes, give us a minute,” Patton called, voice ever chipper. He turned back around to face the others, Logan in the front seat and Romanstuck in back with Zion. “Alright boys, what do you want?”
Zion winced and crossed their arms tighter over their chest. They focused on a tree outside and tried to tune out what was going on in thecar.
“I’ll take one of their salads,” Roman said. “I can’t keepup this physique if I chow down on all of this junk.”
“I’ll get the fish sandwich, Patton,” Logan replied.
Patton turned around, craning to look at Zion. “What aboutyou, Champ? What do you want?”
“He’s pouting,” Roman teased. “I don’t think you’d getanything out of him.”
Every ‘he’ or ‘him’ grated against Zion’s ears and made themcurl up further in on themself. The others didn’t seem to notice, though, andprobably just thought that they were being their usual difficult self. It wasjust making them feel awful, and their head tingled in a bad way and theirfingers were feeling numb while they shivered against a sudden chill.
“I don’t care!”Zion hissed, glaring at them all. “This was stupid.”
Patton only laughed. “Someone’s Mr. Grumpy Pants today.”Zion’s teeth grinded together. Patton turned back to the speaker and added, “Andone Happy Meal, please.” That earned a giggle from Roman.
“Would you like a boyor girl toy today, sir?”
Patton replied without pause, “Boy toy.”
Zion cringed and let their head thunk against the window. The others just laughed. Yeah. Hilarious. Zion was just being grumpy likealways. Surely there was no other reason why they had seemed almost happy to gowith them that morning and now they felt like their soul was slowly beingground up.
They pulled up to the next window and as Patton was paying,Roman leaned over and nudged Zion with his elbow. “Come on, stop pouting. We’reonly poking fun at you.”
“I don’t appreciate it,” Zion mumbled. Their attentionfocused intensely on a crack in the brick wall.
Roman tried to link his arm with Zion’s, but Zion onlypressed their elbow tighter against their side. “Alright fine, we’ll stopmaking fun of you if you’re going to continue to be a crotchety old man aboutit.” Zion shot him a fierce glare that even made Roman back off a little. “Whoa, what’s with the hostility?”
Zion only rolled their eyes and looked back out the window.
“Thank you!” Patton said to the worker as he accepted thebags of food. He passed them back and everyone got their meal, including Zionwith their Happy Meal. They opened it up, finding their chicken nuggets andapple slices—Patton couldn’t get them fries?—and the toy stashed inside.
“What’s the toy?” Roman asked, leaning closer.
Zion took it out. It was a small action figure, dressed allin black with a cape and everything. It came with a small slip of paperdescribing its backstory, which Roman took and read over.
“His name is Villain Man,” Roman said. He grinned. “Aw, helooks just like you! All dressed in black and all menacing.”
And masculine,Zion thought with disgust. They tightened their grip on the little figurine. They hated this. Every waking moment was full of being misgendered. As if theteasing was bad enough, now they had to deal with this all of the time. It madeZion absolutely sick.
Zion rolled down the window and chucked the figurine out thewindow. It landed on the road median just before Patton turned down theirstreet to get home.
“Zion, what was that about?!” Roman cried. “You could haveat least just given it to Patton instead of acting like a spoiled brat! Whatare you, a little boy?”
“No!!” Zion shouted.
“That’s what I thought. So act like a grown man and—”
Zion let out a screech of frustration. “That’s not…! Patton, stop the car.”
Patton glanced in the rearview uncertainly. “Kiddo, we’realmost home, can’t you—?”
“I said stop the car!”
Patton nearly slammed on the breaks, making everyone jerkforward. Zion unhooked their seatbelt and got out of the car.
“Zion!” Roman cried. He fumbled with his seatbelt. “Patton,Logan, just go home. I’ll go after him.” The both of them looked uncertain, butthey did as Roman asked when he got out of the car. Roman ran after Zion andslowed when he caught up to them. “Hey, Zion, what do you think you’re doing?”
“Go away. I need to blow off some steam.”
“Look, if this is about me teasing you, I can stop. Zion, Iknow you’re a grown man, but—”
Zion whipped around and glared at Roman with a look thatcould rival Medusa’s. “Stop calling me that!”
“What, Zion?”
“No! Man! He or him or boy or man or whatever! You make me want to rip my hair out!”
Roman looked thoroughly confused now. “But you are a man.”
Zion rubbed their hands over their face. Was Roman alwaysthis dense? “No. I’m not.”
Finally, a light went off in Roman’s head. “So…you’re trans?”
“No. Well, yes, but not in the sense you’re probablythinking.” Zion sighed and stuffed their hands in their jacket’s pockets. “I’mnonbinary. So I’m not a boy, I’m not a girl. I don’t like gendered language. It’slike you’re stabbing me every time you say he.”
Roman let out a soft “oh”. The both of them stood awkwardlyon the sidewalk for a moment before Roman said, “Alright then. Let me rephrase:Zion, I’ll stop teasing you. I know you’re a grown person and I should treatyou as such.”
Zion looked at him and managed a small smile. “Better.”
Roman grinned. “Good. Now let’s get home and let the othersknow, alright?”
“Yeah…I guess so.”
“Why didn’t you ever tell us sooner?”
Zion shrugged. “It’s weird. I thought you’d all think I was weirdor something. And rejecting me would be even worse than misgendering me. Because then it’s on purpose.”
Roman put a hand on his shoulder. “I can promise that it won’tbe on purpose. They won’t reject you.”
Zion shifted uncomfortably. “And how would you know?”
“Because I always know what’s best. Especially for myprince. Or, er, wait no sorry I didn’t mean—”
Zion put up a hand. “Just. Don’t make a big deal out of it,okay?”
Roman smiled and relaxed. “Of course.”
As they were walking back home, Roman asked, “Does this makeyou my nonbinary pal? Like a gal pal?”
“Is this your not so subtle way of changing the boyfriendlabel?”
“Well person-friend doesn’t have the same ring to it.”

Touch-Starved
It shouldn’t be that surprising really. It wasn’t like the others spent that much time around him. (He couldn’t really blame them for that, it wasn’t like he was the most pleasant person in the world to spend time with).
And aside from them, who else was there? There weren’t that many people in the mindscape. So yeah, it shouldn’t be that surprising that Anxiety had never been hugged before.
And yet, even Logic, who was normally better about seeing the obvious, had seemed startled earlier, and maybe even concerned. Anxiety didn’t get it. It wasn’t like it was a big deal or anything. So he hadn’t ever been hugged before, so what? He got on perfectly fine without any unnecessary physical contact. Really.
The whole thing had come out over breakfast. Morality, in an attempt to get the others to open up and talk more, had asked Logic what he’d been studying recently. More than eager to show off his knowledge, Logic had enthusiastically described in detail the articles he had been reading about scientific studies on physical contact.
“It has now been definitively proven that we need physical contact to stay healthy,” Logic had babbled, leaning forward to engage Morality, who was listening in what seemed like genuine interest.
“So what you’re saying is that hugs are good for you?” Morality had asked excitedly.
“Yes, actually they’re extremely beneficial,” Logic had replied. “They’re the exact kind of positive contact needed to maintain emotional and physical well-being.”
That was when Anxiety had snorted, getting the attention of not only Morality and Logic, but Prince as well, looking up from his cereal.
“Is there something you find funny, Anxiety?” Logic had asked, one hand going to adjust his glasses.
Anxiety had rolled his eyes.
“I just find it all a bit ridiculous,” he had drawled. “I mean, really? We need hugs to survive? That just sounds like bullshit. And besides, even if it were true, it’s not like it applies to us. We’re not exactly normal humans.”
“Awww, c’mon, kiddo,” Morality had pouted. “Even you have to admit that hugs make you feel good, all warm and safe.”
Anxiety had huffed. “I don’t need to try out that touchy-feely stuff to know that this theory’s bullshit.”
“You can’t just dismiss the science behind this!” Logic had sputtered, having looked more and more outraged as Anxiety spoke. But before Anxiety could reply to that, he had been cut off by Prince.
“Try it out… Anxiety, have you ever been hugged before?”
The question had hung in the air, the other three turning to look at Anxiety.
Feeling uncomfortable under the scrutiny, Anxiety had just shrugged. “It’s how I knew this whole thing was bullshit, I seem to be doing just fine.”
“Oh, kiddo,” Morality had whispered, sounding heart-broken for some reason.
Not wanting to stick around and deal with the weird atmosphere that has settled over them, Anxiety had just muttered, “It’s not a big deal, Morality,” and ducked out.
He still didn’t get why the others had seemed so horrified. It wasn’t a big deal. Still he was sure they’d get over it. Hell, they’d probably already dismissed it. And by this time tomorrow, it would be forgotten entirely.
Back in the kitchen
“He’s never been hugged before. How did we not know that?” Logan asked, stunned.
“Well he does tend to kept to himself,” Prince pointed out, sounding uneasy. “I-I can’t say I ever really thought about this whole thing really, but I suppose I just assumed that Morality had hugged him at some point.”
“I should have” Morality whimpered, his head in his hands. “I noticed that he tended to shy away from me, and I decided to wait for him to come to me. But that was a mistake. I should have been the one to reach out.”
“We all should have,” Logan sighed. Then with a disturbing thought beginning to form in his mind, he continued, slowly. “Actually, just setting aside the hug matter for now, when was the last time you can remember Anxiety getting any form of physical contact? A handshake, a pat on the back, anything?”
The other two paused, obviously thinking hard.
“I, well, I remember clapping him on the shoulder a few weeks ago,” Morality replied, now sounding even more horrified than before. “He’d fetched something for me, but I can’t really remember anything else.”
“We held hands in the Valentine’s Day video,” Prince said hesitantly. “That’s about it though.”
A frown formed on Logan’s face. “Then it’s as I feared,” he said gravely. “Anxiety is likely extremely touch-starved at this point.” Seeing that Morality looked to be on the verge of tears, he hastily continued, “But that can be fixed!”
“Of course we’ll fix it,” Prince stated confidently, “Princess Pessimism and I may not always get along that well, but that doesn’t mean I wish him harm, and from what you were saying earlier, Logic, this is doing him harm.”
“You’re right,” Morality sniffed, sounding a little better. “We will make this better. I’m going to give him all the hugs.”
“That might not be the best idea just yet,” Logan cautioned sharply. “Given the severity and duration of Anxiety’s touch-starvation, even a small amount of physical contact may seem overwhelming right now. It’s better to start small and work our way up to larger gestures of physical affection such as hugs.”
Morality nodded. “Okay, I can do that.”
“What do we do if he pulls away?” Prince broke in, “Should we let him?”
“Yes, I think so,” Logan replied. “We don’t want to make him uncomfortable. If he pulls away, let him, just be prepared to keep offering the physical contact. Once he starts relaxing and accepting the smaller gestures, we will start offering larger ones, and so on.”
“It’s a plan.” Morality replied, looking more determined than Logan had seem him in a long while. Yes, they had made a terrible mistake in overlooking the youngest of the sides, but they were going to fix it.
The next morning, Anxiety slipped into the kitchen. He had ended up spending the previous day hanging out in his room and watching Netflix, which had been fun, but he was also pretty hungry at this point.
“Good morning, kiddo,” Morality called out cheerfully. “Logan’s making omelets, so can you help me set the table?”
“Sure,” Anxiety mumbled, wanting to get at the food as quickly as possible. He was starving.
Silently, he began to lay out silverware, as Morality got the plates and cups. It didn’t take them long to finish.
“Thanks, Anxiety,” Morality said, and then reached out and ruffled his hair?
A little startled, Anxiety moved back, staring at Morality in bewilderment. But the other side seemed oblivious to his confusion, only humming cheerfully as he sat down. He didn’t have too long to dwell on it though, as Logic came out of the kitchen with the food.
Once Prince had finally deigned to join them, they began eating. Anxiety ate silently, letting the others do the talking. When he was finished he went and put his plate in the sink, but before he could leave the kitchen completely, Logic grabbed his hand.
“Wait, before you go,” he said, pulling Anxiety closer, “I was wondering if you’d be willing to help me troubleshoot some plans for working on the next videos. You have a knack for spotting potential problems.”
“Uhhh,” Anxiety was having trouble responding. Did-did Logic realize he was still holding Anxiety’s hand? “Um, sure,” he finally stammered out.
Logic gave him a small smile. “Excellent,” he said briskly. “I have the plans laid out in my room.”
With that he tugged on their joined hands once more, towing Anxiety behind him. Anxiety could only follow along helplessly, still not really sure what was going on.
At the end of the day, Anxiety was ready to crawl under the covers and hope the world made more sense in the morning. Things had been slightly off all day. It wasn’t anything drastic, but Morality and Logic seemed to be paying slightly more attention to him than usual. It was just different enough to throw him off balance. He hadn’t seen Prince though, so that at least was normal.
But apparently he’d spoken too soon, because that was when Prince popped up.
“Ah, Anxiety, excellent. I was just looking for you.”
Anxiety only looked at him in askance. Why?
Prince seemed to catch his silent question because he elaborated. “I need you to help me convince Morality and Logic to host a Disney movie marathon tonight.”
“And you wanted my help” Anxiety said flatly. “Really?”
Prince rolled his eyes. “If we work together and both request it, it will surprise them enough to agree. Also I promise we’ll watch The Black Cauldron first if you help.”
“….Fine,” Anxiety replied after a moment of silence. It wasn’t a terrible deal.
“Fantastic,” Prince cheered, and then hooked his arm through Anxiety’s. “Come, I believe they’re in the common area.”
Anxiety moved on autopilot, his brain hyper-focused on the fact that Prince was right there. In his personal space. He could feel their shoulders pressed together. He couldn’t figure out Prince’s intentions though. He was chattering on and on about the movie marathon, not seeming care about their closeness in the slightest. Anxiety let it go. It didn’t mean anything. He was just getting paranoid.
Anxiety enjoyed the movie night, but he made sure to sit in an armchair away from the others, still slightly wary of their intentions. But nothing else seemed to be happening that night, so he relaxed and enjoyed the movies, even allowing himself to sing a little under his breath.
But then the next morning, the weirdness was back. While Anxiety still had time and space to himself, it felt like every other moment one of the others was there, pulling him along to go and do something. Eventually, he snapped.
“What the fuck is going on.” he snarled at Logic, who had asked to him to help with the grading of papers of all things.
“What do you mean, Anxiety?” Logic said, tilting his head. “You’ll have to be more specific.”
“You and the others have been acting all,” here Anxiety flailed, looking for the appropriate word. “Weird,” he finally said, looking suspiciously at Logic. “Seriously, what are you trying to do?”
The other side raised an eyebrow. “I would have thought it was obvious,” he replied.
“Well, it’s not,” Anxiety snapped, “so start talking.”
“Very well,” Logan said. “We, as a group, have recently become aware of a problem we had previously overlooked and are now endeavoring to fix it. Namely, your touch-starvation.”
Anxiety’s face grew hot. He’d thought they’d forgotten about that. “I don’t have a problem,” he said, “And I don’t need you trying to hug me.”
“Don’t worry,” Logic replied, infuriatingly calm. “We have no intention of trying to hug you right now. We can tell you’re not ready for that level of physical affection.”
Anxiety’s face felt like it was on fire now. Who the hell did he think he was saying stuff like this. But before he could tell Logic off, the other side stepped forward, and much to Anxiety’s astonishment, placed a kiss on his forehead.
“Don’t worry, Anxiety,” he said gently, one of his hands coming up to cradle Anxiety’s head. “I know it seems like a lot right now, but that’s why we’re taking it slow.”
Anxiety couldn’t reply, all of his thoughts were centered on the fingers now scritching at his scalp. It didn’t feel bad, it was kind of soothing actually. But at the same time, it was overwhelming. Logic seemed to understand though, as after one last scritch, he pulled his hand back.
“We’re going to fix this,” he said, holding Anxiety’s gaze. “I promise.“
Not knowing how to reply to that, Anxiety fled, but he could still feel Logic’s eyes following him as he went, and the ghost of Logic’s fingers running through his hair, burning like fire.

I had an idea, and while this isn’t exactly the original idea, it’s pretty close. Just Morality being a good person, as per normal.
Warnings: None.

My Shirt
Prinxiety mini fic! If you enjoy this please don’t hesitate to share it! Seeing people enjoy my writing is very encouraging.
Based off the following prompt: “Is that my shirt?” - “Um, kinda…”
–
Several days had passed since the other three residents of The Mind had seen Anxiety. Based on the way he’d been acting lately, they could tell he was sick. Every once in awhile he would come down with something out of the blue, meaning Thomas was feeling more anxious than usual. Sometimes it lasted for months, which was always dreaded. Luckily it had been nearly a week and he seemed to be feeling better already.
To no one’s surprise, he’d been sulking in his room from the moment he began feeling slightly uneasy. Maybe he would’ve come out if the others cared enough to ask him how he was doing, but nobody had come to check on him or even sent him a text, so he decided to let them have their peace. He was usually an unwanted burden when he was active, and he figured they were reveling in his absence.
Needless to say, hiding away in his room was Anxiety’s specialty. He was always stocked up on snacks in case of emergencies- granola bars, bags of chips, bread, anything. That’s what he’d been living off for the past several days, since he was given no warning before his sickness hit. On occasion he’d tiptoe out of his room past midnight and rummage through the kitchen for something else, but he never found anything good.
Earlier that day, however, the sweet smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies wafted under his door and filled his room. It took all his willpower to stay seated and fight his impulse to run to the kitchen and grab the whole tray. But he forced himself to, because he knew there’d be leftovers. There were always leftovers; Patton cooked as though every meal was thanksgiving dinner.
Anxiety crept out of his room at 3:19 in the morning and felt cold air hit his chest. Shit. He was shirtless. He didn’t want to risk being seen without a shirt on in case anyone woke up and saw him; he was extremely self conscious of his body. In his sleepy daze, he bent down to grab the top shirt off a pile of fresh clothes in the hallway near his door. He pulled it over his head and continued his trudge to the kitchen.
After rifling through the cupboards for a few minutes, he saw the hallway light switch on out of the corner of his eye. He panicked and froze. The dark silhouette down the hall rubbed their eyes and meandered to the kitchen sleepily, groaning at the harsh light. They stepped into view.
It was Princey.
“Why are you up?” He asked, aggravated and sleepy, watching as the other gently closed a cabinet.
“I was hungry,” Anxiety mumbled in response, “Thought I smelled cookies earlier.”
Roman sighed quietly. “Morality did happen to bake a fresh batch of cookies. Would you like one?”
“I guess. Whatever.”
Roman sauntered over to the fridge and took out a fairly large plate of cookies. It didn’t look like there were any missing. Had Morality baked a whole batch of cookies for him on the off chance he’d smell it and leave his room?
“You know,” Roman began, handing the plate of cookies to Anxiety, “we haven’t seen you in forever. Why now? Why not come out to eat during the day?”
“I’d rather keep to myself. I’ve been feeling off.” He sat down and set the plate in front of him, grabbing one and starting to munch on it.
“Physical or mental?” Roman asked, sitting down across from him.
“Why do you care?”
“Because, I just…” His gaze fell to Anxiety’s chest. “Wait. Is that my shirt?”
Anxiety’s eyes flitted down to the t-shirt he’d thrown on. Of course. Of course it was Princey’s. It was bright red, almost the same color as his dumb little sash, with Mickey Mouse’s face on it. Why had he not bothered to look at it before putting it on?
“Um, kinda…” He mumbled, shoving the rest of the cookie into his mouth, his face turning a brighter red than the stupid shirt he was wearing.
“Kinda? That’s totally mine! How long have you been wearing that? Where did you get it?”
“I just put it on, I swear. I walked out of my room and I had no shirt on so I grabbed one off the floor. It was in the hallway, close to my door, I thought it was mine I guess. I don’t know, okay? I’m tired,” he explained, flustered and rambling. “It’s not like you wear regular t-shirts anyway. You’re always in that dumb costume.” As always, he tried to hide his embarrassment with petty insults. Apparently it worked. Princey was easily offended.
“It’s not a costume Anxiety. How dare you?”
“Whatever. The point is I didn’t realize it was your shirt. Do you want it back? I can change.”
Princey hesitated, clearly tempted to say yes, but then remembered how horrible Anxiety had been feeling. “Um… no,” he forced out. “No, you can keep it for now. It’s soft. I wear it to bed when I’ve had a bad day, and… well, considering we haven’t seen you in a week…I don’t know, I mean… I figure you could make use of that.”
Anxiety blushed and stood up to walk back to his room, flustered. He was stopped by Roman’s concerned voice. “Are you gonna come out of that room one of these days?”
They both paused for a moment, Anxiety’s back still to the other.
“We’ll see.”
Silence.
“Go back to bed, Princey.”
Anxiety shuffled down the hallway and turned the light off as he walked, reaching towards the walls for a sense of direction in the darkness. His head was spinning. What an odd interaction that was. He touched the hem of his shirt and rubbed it between his fingers. Princey was right; it was really soft. He still didn’t understand why he let him borrow the shirt, and why he was so nice about it, but at least he didn’t give him a hard time. Anxiety wouldn’t have been able to handle that.
Back in the kitchen, the pale yellow light still on, Roman was now eating a leftover cookie from the plate in front of him and contemplating the conversation he just had.
Roman wasn’t mad at him in the slightest. But why? That was unlike him, and he had every reason to be mad. Why was his heart beating faster? Why had he let Anxiety borrow his shirt? Why did he look so good in it?

On a Really Basic Itty-Bitty Level
Fandom: Thomas Sanders/Sanders Sides
Pairing: Logicality/PTA Sanders (Logan-centric)
Summary: “ No matter how long you’ll live, you’ll never touch another human being.” Based on @the-prince-and-the-emo‘s post, Logan struggles with the weight knowledge can bring, and Morality comforts him with his own weird perspective.
Warnings: angst (with a happy ending), existentialism(?), dubious science
Hi there! So this is my first Sander’s Sides fic, and the first thing I’ve written in like three months, lol. I’m trying to get back into it. I really hope you enjoy, let me know what you think and if i should write more :)
@sanders-sideblog asked me to tag, so here you go, thank you so much for the encouragement! I’m going to go ahead and tag @prinxietys and @dan-yuna because they’re also cool inspirational writers (hope you don’t mind)
Now that that small novel is done, let’s get to the actual fic!
