I understand the "I will die for you" ship dynamic, but what about the "I will not let you die, I will not let myself die- we will, at any cost, survive" kind of couple?

so I read that for the burning bookshop scene, there was an actual controlled fire and you actually burnt the furniture and books. Can I ask why you decided to do this instead of just editing it all in?

also thank you (and terry) for creating good omens!! It’s one of my favorite things :) can’t wait for season 2!! :D

What does "editing it all in" mean?

We set things on fire because it made it real in a way that having David Tennant acting in front of a Green Screen wouldn't have done. Digital flame is convincing up to a point. But only up to a point. This was real.

honestly being a selfshipper and finding irl items that remind you of your f/o is just the purest thing....

find a t-shirt that looks like your f/o's? perfect, wear it when you feel down and revel in the feeling that you're wearing their shirt.

find a book you think they'd like? get it, read it, think about how overjoyed they'd be to know they got you into something they find interesting! how happy they'd be to share that with you!

find a perfume that reminds you of them? for the love of everything holy. get it and cherish it.

every trinket, every shirt, every little nick-nack that reminds you of them. that's them loving you through the little things!!!

self-indulgent, but… if people in your life have ever told you that you are “overreacting” — your f/o never thinks so.

they know you just feel things differently, more strongly. they know you can get so very excited or happy that you can’t help but be giddy, louder, that you may bounce around. in fact, your f/o thinks it’s endearing, because such a reaction truly shows how content you are at the moment.

they know and understand something negative can affect you more than others, that you may cry easier or need more time to deal with challenges before you can get back on your feet. and your f/o thinks that is okay.

no matter the reason or just how strongly you react, your f/o doesn’t think you’re “too much” because of that.
