The music room was vacant and so Nix thought it the perfect time to have a moment alone. Felt like it had been ages since the idol had played the piano but the chance wasn't going to be passed up. The silverette began to sing, unaware the walls weren't exactly sound proof..

"Forward huh..?" Nix had hung around Ryuji quite a few times by now, so it was no surprise the other had noticed something was off. Tired from the appearances he was dragged off to attend and the practice sessions were leaving not many days for rest. Though there did seem to be a shift after there was a post on the Phansite about his manger. Now there were questions being posed to him about the rumors, which he knew were all too real.

"It's easier said than done, Ryuji. I would love to satisfy your curiosity but I am still under contract.." The silverette stood up and frowned a little before looking over at his friend. "If I'm caught saying anything, it'll affect my brother and everything he has.. All I can do is hope these Phantom Thieves are real. If they were, perhaps they would have a way I can talk without being found out."

Nightmares plaguing Alex's dreams at night? The horror! She deserved a peaceful sleep just like anyone else. Shinya was determined from that moment on to help her in any way he could. Nix had no idea what horrors were going through Saki's mind, how could they? She seemed to be an expert at wearing a strong face, not betraying any inner thoughts. Though it seemed they had blended in with the locals better than they thought. They had moved into town only two or three years ago. Which was a benefit since that meant no one knew who they were before coming here.

"If you say as much.. and I actually live here. I attend Yasogami High as well. But it's good to know that I don't stand out in a bad way." A small laugh escaped them before giving a glance around them. The peaceful town was rather on edge lately, with the murders and all. "Sad to see everyone so nervous lately though.."

Persona 4 Verse

Name: Nix Shinko Persona: Inari Arcana: Strength Elements: Wind & Support

Much of Nix's general bio remains the same except for notable differences listed below!

Shortly after Nix was well enough to travel after the accident, they moved to Inaba with their family. This was to help Nix recover in peace, away from the press, and have a chance at obtaining some normalcy. They have been in Inaba since the age of 15 and now attend Yasogami as a second year.

While Nix currently accepts their identity of being Genderfluid, there is an internal struggle within that perhaps they are something else. Though with their life taking so many tragic turns in rapid succession, it has made it difficult for them to sort it all out.

How Nix appears on the television is due to a reporter from the city remembering them from the accident. This causes the reporter to make a story about the 'unsolved case' since there were rumors that someone sabotaged the stage on purpose. This sparks their appearance on the Midnight Channel as well.

Nix can be found in the Music Room, Samegawa Flood Plain, Classroom 2-2, and in Junes.

It was no surprise that Rinne showed up when he did, Nix had been so involved with his work that the notifications on his phone hadn't gotten his attention. So when the red head came in and pointed out how tired he was, the silverette couldn't fully argue it. A small groan escaped Nix as he sat up straight, feeling how stiff his body was from being stuck all hunched over. "Survival mode huh? That's one way of putting it.." He muttered, rubbing his eyes before turning to face the other.

"I take it you're here to kidnap me for a while, Rinne?" Nix gave his boyfriend a tired smile, setting down the outfit he was currently working on. He was well aware that the bee would simply carry him off if he tried to keep working. So surrendering was the better option.. especially if he got a nap together out of it. "Well you're free to carry me away~."

Dungeon Information - Crumbling Stage

From the outside, the dungeon looks like a lavish and polished music stadium. Large display screens show Nix, dressed up for a performance but the image lacks a left arm and flickers to show a different image entirely. One of cracks across the screen with a shadowed figure behind it with bright yellow eyes. When this glitch happens, the exterior of the stadium shifts as well in appearing rundown and falling apart.

The interior of the dungeon varies from floor to floor. Some have the appearance of hallways connecting to smaller performance stages, but all of them have the stage lighting already fallen down upon them. Among the damage, blood stains can be seen and touching these can trigger a shadow to suddenly appear and attack. These 'idol floors' have old advertisement posters of Nix, all missing their left arm in them. Other posters display a man with long red hair, sharing the same last name and also has the words 'IN MEMORY' written across them. The voices across these floor share snippets of Nix's early career before a tragic accident. Others briefly speak about a man named 'Genji' dying of disease and leaving behind three children. When Nix themselves speak, it's filled with terror and longing..

It is on one of these 'idol floors' that a Shadow Version of Nix will appear, one being female presenting instead of their usual gender-neutral self. Dressed in an idol uniform, she talks about missing the stage and longs to go back but also afraid of it. Though also strongly hints at another reason why 'she' can't go back as 'she' is. Also a great fear of possibly getting hurt again and a discomfort. Though when 'she' begins to share the why, the shadow seems to glitch and spasm. On the screens above the stage, it shows glimpses of Nix's past performances before the accident. Though when the shadow grows angry, the images crack and decay away.

The other floors of the dungeon can appear like parts of a hospital. The walls are severely cracked, the floors have bloodstains on them, and everything is in disarray. There are reassuring, kind voices here trying to tell Nix that everything will be alright. Though Nix's voice rings out that those are all lies. All the posters of Nix from previous floors are shredded here. There are also ruined circus tools such as juggling balls, and other items laying across the floor.

Two shadow versions of Nix appear here, different from the one that previously appeared. One appears in a hospital gown, covered in red stained bandages as their left arm hangs loosely by their side. This one proclaims that they hate themselves and sees themselves as broken and beyond repair. That there is nothing they can do to fix anything, that there will always be something wrong. The other looks more closely their neutral appearing self. Though they look miserable, tears running down from their eyes. All they say is they wish to be 'normal'. That there is 'something wrong with them'. Why can't they be like everyone else? Why do they have to cause problems? When asked why they feel that why, the two shadows become aggravated and bring lesser shadows in to attack in their stead before vanishing.

The final area of the dungeon is a large stage with colorful light displays of blues and purples. Though the more simple stage lighting flicker and look on the verge of falling down. The floor of the stage even looks worn but not as badly damaged as other areas. Standing in the center is the true Shadow form of Nix, looking down at the real Nix standing below. This shadow appears as solely masculine, dressed in the school uniform without a flaw or blemish upon it. This shadow is entirely stable but has a silent anger about him. He addresses Nix before the team, the anger having a clear target. It is through this shadow that a truth is dragged into light.. He is what Nix wants to be, feels most comfortable in being. When Nix denies that truth, the other 'shadow selves' the team encountered appear on stage before the true shadow combines with all of them. They were mere fragments but now all the pieces align to create the berserk form which appears as a massive ninetailed fox..
