I made a little story based off of this 👅👅

Samantha quickly attempted to haul Timmy away from any areas where the gas may have been.

Timmy had to watch his only parent get attacked and become a monster. However, just before he could be pulled away, he noticed Avery have him a different look..like they still recognized him.

Timmy couldn't let his guard down yet though, Samantha wouldn't let him. As she dragged him through the factory in an attempt to find the exit, he couldn't help but wonder if he'd ever see Avery again.

Well that question was quickly answered by him hearing familiar footsteps and labored breathing. Samantha froze up, quickly lifting Timmy and running hiding in a small corner.

Avery would've walked past them, if Timmy's music box hadn't gone off. Samantha inhaled just as Avery turned around.

Avery stared at both of them. Samantha standing in front of Timmy and Timmy slightly cowering behind her.

Their right eye twitched. "Give. Me…." Avery began, sounding like they were struggling just to form a sentence. "Give…me…."

"What…?" Samantha inquired, her breathing still measured. "Give you what?" Avery's breathing got louder, more forced. They weren't taking no for an answer.

"GIVE ME BACK MY SON." Avery choked out finally, their voice extremely distorted and somewhat gurgled. The pupil in their right eye quickly came into view as they lurched forward, extending their hand.

Samantha instinctively held onto Timmy tighter, backing away. An action that made Avery even more aggressive if possible.

"N-No." Samantha told them as firm as possible. "I can't." Avery's eye twitched again as they withdrew their hand slightly. "No?"

Timmy's heartbeat increased. He wasn't sure if he was ready to head back with his parent either but he didn't want Samantha to get hurt.

"No?" Avery repeated, eyebrows arched. The mouth on their midriff area made a deep rumbling sound. "No….." Samantha spoke again, trying to stay calm. "You could hurt him."

Avery stood still. She was right. They could. Somehow though, that didn't matter to them for some reason though. They still wanted him back. They NEEDED him back.

"Give….me…" Avery said again, holding their hand out. Samantha shook her head. "No." Avery's lower mouth growled again as they curled their clawed fingers into a fist.

"I wasn't asking." Avery snarled, stepping closer. "Neither was I." Samantha said as bravely as she could. Some part of her felt it was wrong too keep Timmy from them, but another part knew Avery wasn't in the best state to take care of a child, and after losing Caleb, she wasn't watching another one die.

Timmy was conflicted. On one hand, he did miss Avery dearly and didn't want Samantha to get hurt keeping him away from them, but he was also scared. It hasn't been too long since Avery attacked Al Kertul and he didn't wanna risk ending up like him.

Avery's eyes narrowed. They didn't want to attack anyone in front of their son but their body moved faster than their brain which led them to reach for Samantha's hand.

Samantha wasn't as quick. "LET- GO-" She huffed, trying to pull away. Timmy jumped back, not expecting Avery to assault her like that. Avery's midriff slowly began to separate as their mouth opened wide, making them appear taller.

Samantha went still, her learned helplessness kicking in. She couldn't see a way out of this without her becoming corrupted. Timmy really couldn't afford to lose another person to that so he did the only thing he could do.

Timmy pulled Avery's unoccupied arm back, hoping to get his attention. Avery's mouth went slack, stopping just as they were going to pull Samantha into their mouth. They went to turn their body to Timmy.

Timmy was starting to think he made a huge mistake and that now maybe he was in the menu next. Fortunately Avery seemed to genuinely see the fear in his eyes. Avery released Samantha's hand, causing her to fall back.

Avery returned to normal height, and Timmy slowly let go of his arm. They both looked at each other, neither making a move yet. Timmy's heart was pounding, Avery could hear it. Avery didn't want this. They didn't want Timmy to be scared of them.

But they couldn't let him go either.

Avery let out a half sigh, half hiss of frustration. With one more look to their son, they turned to leave, but not before saying 3 more words.

"This….isn't…over."
