I was expecting a “I miss you” and then this thing hit me with a ton of bricks

I was dead from this point on

do you ever get really fucking sad

because mandy and mickey milkovich, two teenagers who were abused their entire life, both mentally and physically, who are both rape survivors, who were shown no concept of love in their home ever

were able to show love arguably more than any other characters on this show, whether it was mandy basically getting lip into college, by putting his education and well-being before her own, or mickey, oh mickey, taking care of ian, by never telling him he was a burden and being more than willing to spend the rest of his life with ian, through the good and the bad

and they both last season were able to actually say i love you, even though they’d been showing this love for years, which is huge!! they both worked up the courage to tell these people they loved them

and both mandy and mickey, survivors of literal hell their entire lives, had this love mocked back at them. they were humiliated in their most vulnerable moment, and written off the show for good. 

like can you believe this. fuck this
