Take Authority!
My child, I know the unease you are feeling about areas of life that feel out of control and unpredictable. You sense the call to step out, but also feel the ground moving beneath your feet as you transition, causing you to feel destabilised and off balance.
Consider the Sea of Galilee; a large and powerful body of water. To the disciples it represented so much more than that: livelihood, resource, food, travel and transport. But it’s also subject to sudden and violent storms; whilst relying on it, the disciples' lives would also be at the mercy of it.
During one such storm, Jesus walked out upon the water to meet the disciples in the centre of the storm, but their fear paralysed them and they did not recognise him. Do not let fear take such a hold of you, that you do not recognise my hand upon your life. When Jesus walked on the water, he demonstrated his authority over the storm, but also over the lake. This powerful force that the disciples’ lives were at the mercy of, was now under the authority of Jesus.
The disciples would never again be defenceless against the lake for these things – for they found their security in the one who has authority over them all. How much more authority then do you have, through Jesus? In Me, you have the authority to overcome the enemy and his attempts to destabilise you – you have the authority to stand and to declare peace and stability in transition. Rise up, stand firm and take authority.
Activation:
Sit with Holy Spirit and ask him to bring to mind the areas of your life that feel destabilised and off balance. Repent of any times that you have partnered with fear, and ask Holy Spirit to show you the ways in which he has been working that you have missed. Picture yourself physically positioned over the unstable areas of your life, just as Jesus positioned himself over the waters. Declare that in Jesus’ name, they come into alignment with God’s will in your life, and under the authority that you have been given through him.
Mark 6:49-50 (NIV) But when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid!"
Luke 10:19 (AMP) ‘Listen carefully: I have given you authority (that you now possess) to tread on serpents and scorpions, and (the ability to exercise authority) over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will (in any way) harm you.’

Take Up Your Weapon!
Take up your weapon, Church. As My Word says, ‘For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart’. Let the Word sift you and teach you of what pleases Me. My Word is the source of encouragement, truth and the plumbline by which you should measure and order your life. Search out the scriptures and let your hearts be strengthened as you rest in the assurity of my Word and my powerful promises. Take up the sword of the Spirit!
I am looking for those who like Joshua keep the Word of Truth on their lips and in their hearts, for he was told ‘...meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.’
For My words are spirit and life, and some of you have laid down your weapons feeling weak. You do not know how to fight like you once did in a previous season. Return to the Word. It is time to anchor yourselves on the Word of Truth.
If you have put down your sword, find it, dust it off and begin to read. Read and read again, allowing faith to stir in your spirit and the Word to cleanse you. ‘Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God’.
Activation:
Seek the Lord to identify a scripture that relates to an area of your life where you need to be reminded of the Truth and where you are being prompted to take up the sword of the Spirit once again. Spend time writing out the scripture, practice memorising it, and then speak out this scripture as you pray and contend for breakthrough.
Isaiah 55:11 ESV "So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it!"
Joshua 1:8 NIV "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful!"

Weapon Of Wisdom!
Beloved, I see you poised ready like a runner waiting to get in the starting blocks. And yet I know how acutely aware of the final period of waiting you are. Do not give space to lies of confusion over the timing, you have not misread the signs. This is not an unholy delay but I am using this pause for vital work that will strengthen you for the advance.
I have been increasing wisdom within you but now I am preparing your arms to wield that weapon well. You have been, and continue, to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. My thoughts in your mind are a powerful weapon.
As you speak and release my thoughts, you will be taking authority over the atmosphere; you will be pushing back what the enemy is releasing over your family, your church, your city and your nation. I am training you to grow into a wider sphere of influence as you step further into the authority I give you.
I am purging your mind of the impurities. As you speak freedom, you release others from their restraints, their powerlessness and disbelief, into active faith, into knowing identity and into their place of warfare.
As you speak love you break fear, rejection and independence over others. As you speak healing you break infirmities, depression and release health and wholeness. And as you learn to wield this weapon of wisdom, your reach of impact will grow from individuals to nations.
Application:
Read James 3:17-18. Sit in these words with Holy Spirit asking him to show you how these qualities were demonstrated by Jesus. Allow Holy Spirit to transform your thinking as you gaze on Jesus.
James 3:17-18 (NIV) "But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness!"
2 Corinthians 3:18 (ESV) "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit!"
Psalm 61:1 (ESV) "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound!"

Patience In The Waiting!
My child, I see you. I see your inner struggle of waiting for Me to move and to answer your prayers. But I am not going to do it like you think. Keep your gaze fixed on Me, because I am using this time to transform you.
I do not move like the world does. My timings are not the same as the world. I am using this time to fine-tune and train you. So, step back and take a deep breath. My desire is to release patience like you’ve never experienced before so you may navigate this season with strength and understanding.
Do not get caught up in hurry for I am using this time to realign and readjust you into My timing. Do you understand that I am never anxious or worried? Trust me when I say that I am never late!
Activation:
Make a list of things you are waiting for and then lay it before the Lord in surrender to Him. Declare: “Not my will, but Your will be done.” As you do this, allow His peace to wash over you.
Romans 8:25 (NLT) "But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently!"
Psalm 27:14 (NLT) "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord!"

Union At All Costs!
My people are living in a place of spiritual division within themselves; their attention constantly being split between the spirit and the flesh. They sing that I am worthy of it all, yet they withhold themselves from full union with Me in the spirit.
They long for My presence and dwell with My Spirit, but then return to their earthly thinking when physical and fleshly challenges arise. It is not enough to hold onto Me with your right hand, yet be entertaining the world with your left.
Jesus challenged his disciples about this – He came with hard teaching to expose the offense within them that caused them to withhold from submitting to the fullness of who He is in Me. The visceral language of eating His flesh and drinking His blood, to literally take Himself inside of yourselves – to join in a spiritual union that secures you to Him. Jesus challenges the religious zeitgeist of the times; My people must relinquish their comfort for completeness.
So I am asking of you now to let go of any offence, control or longing for comfort that is holding you back from full and complete union with Me in spirit. Take the Bread that I offer, literally inside of yourself; make room for Me, join yourself to Me – and understand the freedom and life that comes from this place of union, at all costs.
Activation:
Read the passage in John 6:53-63. Allow Jesus’ words to minister to you, and take note of any offense or discomfort you may feel – ask Holy Spirit to meet you in that place and reveal to you the root cause of these emotions. Spend time dealing with these – repent where you feel led, and submit any areas of your life that are not yet joined fully with Jesus.
Create some space in your day to take communion. Picture the flesh and blood of Jesus joining with your insides as you take it – bonding Himself to you in spirit. Ask Jesus to bring you to a place of security and freedom in your union with Him.
John 6:63 (NIV) "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life!"

Refining The Watchman!
In this season I am releasing a greater anointing upon the watchmen. I am filling the ramparts with those who will look to see. As you sense the upward call, be ready to climb to the higher places. But also look to your sides, for this is not a solitary call. I do not want my watchmen in isolation but I want them firmly rooted in like minded communities.
As I sharpen, hone, and increase you, I am shaping you for community. In watching together, the vision will become more accurate with greater clarity. As you watch developments in the spirit realm together your perception and understanding of timings will be refined. Together you will learn to communicate what you see in a way that guides the church practically, which increases understanding and in a way that will lead others into bold faith, raw passion, and a yearning for holiness.
Application:
With the Holy Spirit, reflect on how you have been led in the call of the watchman. Ask him to show you what aspect of this calling he wants to develop further in you and how you are to partner with him in this. Ask him to reveal who you are to develop alongside.
1 Peter 2: 4-5 (NASB) "And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ!"
Habbakuk 2:1 (NIV) "I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint!"

Bees Mean Honey!
My child, I know that you are feeling as if you have suddenly been put inside a beehive. After great battles that you brilliantly overcame by worshipping me and keeping your feet on the Rock, now the presence of small irritating insects seems like a farce. Yet the bees surround you, they distract you, their buzzing sound annoys you and you have to be alert should they be ready to use their sting against you. “What’s going on?” you ask.
Don’t you worry my beloved; keep trusting me! In the past I taught you how to vanquish the enemy by using big swords, now is the time to focus on different tactics such as the dagger. Small movements, but the same authority coming from my Spirit. I am expanding your discernment, sharpening your sight, and honing your ability to shift atmospheres in order to be equipped and teach those I will send you.
And since I am the God who always turns situations around for your good, those same bees that tried to hurt you will be the ones dispensing honey for your nourishment.
Activation:
Stay in God’s presence and ask Holy Spirit to highlight where you have “bees” in your life right now. Then see yourself with Jesus as he gives you the strategy on how and when to use your dagger to remove them. Finally, enquire of the Lord where the honey is coming from and how you should feed yourself as he takes you up a notch.
Romans 8:28 (NIV) "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose!"
Exodus 3:8 (NLT) "So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey—the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live!"

Resources Of Heaven!
As you take hold of the vision I have placed before you, do not be distracted by earthly preparations for I do not prepare you as the world would. I am not filling your bag but emptying it. Why? Because your dependency is on nothing but me.
I am your provider; do not wait for earthly finances to stack up. Rather, be ready to step out with only what you have in the moment, in full expectation that I will meet your needs.
Do not wait until you’ve achieved a worldly position. It is I that opens doors for you; it is I who releases the favour you need. I have given you more authority than this world has to offer and I will make the way for you.
Do not wait to be impressive in the eyes of man or desire to be clothed in status, for I have already seated you in the heavenly places; what higher standing could you have?
The powers of darkness fear what I have called you to and they seek to slow you down by gathering the wrong things. The world will weigh you down but I will lighten your load, highlight your path and open the way before you.
Activation:
Sit with Holy Spirit and ask him how you have been preparing. What is his work and what is a distraction sent to weigh you down. Where are you stockpiling the things of this earth and what does he want you to do instead?
2 Corinthians 2:14-15 (NIV) "But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing!"
Matthew 10:9-10 (MSG) "Don’t think you have to put on a fund-raising campaign before you start. You don’t need a lot of equipment. You are the equipment, and all you need to keep that going is three meals a day. Travel light!"

Above The Clouds!
My people, many of you are rightly filled with expectation to see long awaited answers to prayer and promises fulfilled. Dreams and visions which have been held in the hearts of My sons and daughters for many years are about to be realised in these days.
There is a divine grace to transition as you discover and embrace the alignments and assignments that I have for you. In all of this, I am aware that the days ahead, for some of you, may still be uncertain and uncomfortable as you adapt and stretch to take hold of the new.
Just as a plane takes off for a predetermined destination, often it must first navigate turbulent bumps and poor visibility that come with low lying clouds. In those moments, the pilot is never deterred but understands that as he continues to ascend, the temporary but necessary discomfort will pass, and that visibility will return.
Do not allow the unsettling of transition to cause you to doubt or look back, even for a moment. Take captive every thought which would cause you to second guess or feed fear and anxiety and replace them with Truth. I say to you, there is increased capacity and fresh strength for the new.
Trust wholeheartedly in Me. I know where I am taking you and My plans will unfold.
Determine in your heart to press on in faith and take hold of all that I have for you giving thanks and praise for what is to come.
Activation:
Spend time in the Lord’s presence and remind yourself what you’re believing for in this next season. What answers to prayer or dreams/ prophecy are you expecting to see fulfilled? If you’re stepping into “the new” (workplace, relationships, church, ministry or geographical location) and are experiencing doubts and fear, spend time bringing these to the Lord in prayer and receive His peace. Write out 4 or 5 declarations based on your promises and speak them out daily to help build faith and strength.
Jeremiah 29: 11-13 (ESV) "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart!"
Philippians 3: 13-14 (NIV) "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus!"

Colour Outside The Lines!
Right now, I am asking my people to push beyond the lines which surround them. When I look at many of my beloved ones, I see them carefully relying upon four or five of the same crayons, carefully keeping within the lines on the page before them. But at this time, I am breaking off limitation and containment as I encourage my people to colour outside the lines!
It is a day to recognize that many of the things which hold you in place and stop you from pushing further are not of me. It is not my intention to keep my people boxed up and tucked away. But there are false limitations and containment that many of my beloved ones are living under. It is my passion to see these lines of containment pulled away and people pulled afresh into a space of possibility and freedom.
Push beyond the lines that surround you; why settle for 4 crayons when I have a whole box for you to play and create with! Come and play with me, the one who loves and delights in you. Let me reawaken your wonder and curiosity as we push beyond what has been and into something new.
Activation:
Ask Holy Spirit to show you where there are lines or boxes of limitation active in your life. Perhaps it’s a label that has been placed on you, how you define your purpose, or a lie that was planted long ago. With the revelation that Holy Spirit reveals to you, spend some time in prayer to break any partnership you have made with these limiting beliefs (both intentionally and unintentionally). Then, envision yourself colouring. Ask Holy Spirit what new colour there is for you to play with. Why that colour? Spend some time in prayer and thanksgiving for God’s care and love for you.
Revelation 4:2-3 (NLT) "And instantly I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne in heaven and someone sitting on it. The one sitting on the throne was as brilliant as gemstones - like jasper and carnelian. And the glow of an emerald circled his throne like a rainbow!"
Psalm 118:5 (NIV) "When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place!"

From Stained To Splendor!
It’s wedding season, and God is calling you His bride; confident, radiant, and deeply desired. He isn’t ashamed of you. In fact, He takes delight in the way you’ve responded to His invitation to come close. Even the messy, hidden parts of your life - the thoughts, habits, and shame no one else sees - He has gently cleansed.
Just like Esther went through a process of preparation before standing before the king, you’ve been walking through your own season of becoming. You’ve been purified. You’ve been transformed. But maybe you still look in the mirror and see someone unworthy.
The Lord says, “That’s not how I see you. When you speak badly about yourself, I hear it as if you're criticizing someone I deeply love. I want to show you a different mirror, one that reflects Jesus. This doesn’t erase who you are; it reveals the real you that I made new.
You’re not a clone. You’re not a disappointment. You’re a masterpiece with a new spirit… My Spirit. Put on confidence like a wedding dress. Walk like someone who is fully loved, fully known, and fully accepted. I am waiting for you to believe what I already see.
Application:
Stand in front of a mirror and say out loud, “I am radiant because God cleansed me. I am loved because God demonstrated his love for me. I am new because God put His Spirit in me.” Do this as many times as needed until you can feel yourself accepting this truth.
Moving forward, when the voices of shame rise up, ask God to help you see yourself the way He does. Speak words of life over yourself, especially when your thoughts want to tear you down. Let those truths reshape how you live, walk, and speak.
Ephesians 5:26-27 (ESV) "...that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish!"
2 Corinthians 3:18 (ESV) "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit!"

Conquer New Ground!
The Spirit of the Lord says:
Don’t believe the enemy whispering that nothing has changed after all. I am calling you individually and as a community to stand and conquer new ground for the enhancement of my Kingdom. Rise up, my people and steward whatever lands I will call you to.
Come to me and ask to understand what the enemy is doing. For he is already defeated and my strategies will allow you to preempt any snare. So ask me for discernment, wisdom and an Issachar anointing to gain territory in my Kairos moment. This is not spiritual warfare as it was in previous seasons; you need cutting-edge skills and refined weapons, which I will provide. That is why constant interaction and cooperation with me is needed now more than ever.
Moreover, as you come and celebrate the victory after each battle, make sure you find time to rest in me. Come into my presence to be refreshed and empowered. Then go again, for the harvest is plentiful.
Activation:
Find time to pray in tongues and stay in God’s presence, either individually or as a group. Ask him what’s on his mind and how you can serve him for the advancement of the Kingdom. Receive the details of the blueprint and write them down. Then continue to pray for timing and thank the Lord for his victory. Remember that worship can be very powerful spiritual warfare.
Luke 10:1-3 (NIV) After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.”
Proverbs 18:10 (ISV) "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; a righteous person rushes to it and is lifted up above the danger!"

Know Who You Are!
My Beloved, many of you are emerging from an extended season of testing and preparation. I am proud of the long-suffering and faithfulness you have displayed during this time which has allowed Me to forge in you the character you need to carry your call. Where there have been degrees of hiddenness up to now, be assured that I am about to bring you out of the shadows and divinely endorse your life for the sake of the Kingdom and My glory.
Remember how I chose Aaron and his family to do the work of the priest, miraculously causing his staff, which was nothing but dead wood, to yield buds, blossoms and ripe almonds. My People, you are entering into days of greater authority and leadership with unprecedented fruitfulness that will be seen by many. You must continue to remain in the vine and place your confidence and security in who you are in Me. Apart from Me, you can do nothing.
If you remain in Me, not only will there be much fruit for the Kingdom, but it will silence the naysayers who would want to complain and undermine. When opposition comes, remind yourself that you are chosen and appointed to bear fruit. Do not allow the opinions of man to intimidate or define you.
Remember who you belong to. You are Mine. Declare over your life ‘I am loved, I am chosen, I know who I am, I know what God has spoken’.
Application:
Read through Numbers Chapter 18. Ask the Lord if there are any areas of your life that still need pruning to prepare for the days of increased fruitfulness. Specifically, is He bringing new friendships or alignments that will bring fresh grace and strength for the days ahead? Are there any relationships which now must come to an end? Ask the Lord for wisdom as to how to be obedient to what He shows you and for the timing.
John 15:4 (AMPC) "Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me!"
John 15:16 (AMPC) "You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I Am], He may give it to you!"

A Burning Bush Encounter!
Look and see! I am moving so that you may encounter Me. I am the God of the burning bush and my presence is holy. Remove your shoes for you are standing on holy ground. Cast off all that hinders and hear the words I have for you.
My child, why are you so distracted and your attention so short? Why is it that you seem surprised I want to talk to you at this moment? Do I not know what you are facing and the burdens you are carrying?
And yet I am calling you. I am calling you for important Kingdom assignments. I need one who hears My words and repeats them faithfully; who can take my messages to where I need them to be said; who can deliver them no matter what the situation they find themselves in.
For I am the Sovereign Lord and I want you as my emissary, to go where I send you, to set my people free from the tyrannies that bind them, from the paralysis of fear and the enemy’s condemnations, from the straitjacket of worldly systems and the mistruths of global society. Go and set My people free.
Application:
Read through the passage in scripture of Moses encountering the burning bush (Exodus 3:1-12) and then consider the following:
This is a burning bush moment. Consider the ground you are standing on - it is holy. You are in the presence of the Living God. Pay careful attention to what the Lord is saying to you.
What is it that He is calling you to? It may be a new mission - ask Him for clarity and guidance; it might be something familiar but He is granting you more authority and responsibility. Ask Him for perception and humility; or it could be a tough assignment which leads to hurt and rejection - ask Him for courage and discernment.
Remember this: He is the Lord. He is the Holy One. He has chosen you. Will you go as His ambassador?
John 15:16 (NIV) "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you!"
Deuteronomy 33:13-16 (NIV) "May the Lord bless His land with the precious dew from heaven above and with the deep waters that lie below; with the best the sun brings forth and the finest the moon can yield; with the choicest gifts of the ancient mountains and the fruitfulness of the everlasting hills; with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness and the favour of Him who dwelt in the burning bush!"

The Obstacle Is Gone!
In the Spirit, I saw people standing before a massive rock wall. It reached the heavens and looked impossible to climb. Confused, they asked each other, “Didn’t God lead us here? How do we move forward?”
They made camp at the base, waiting for God to act. They became settled and comfortable. Then the facade shattered like glass. God removed the obstacle and made a way to move, yet many didn’t notice. They were so used to waiting, sharing stories of past miracles, and building a life around that waiting season. They couldn’t see the obstacle was already gone.
Some of the leaders of the people, strong from their own efforts, were aware that something had shifted. They tried to climb with their upper-body strength alone, but they grew tired quickly. They had trained for the wrong challenge.
But there was a different group. They were light-hearted, childlike, always moving, playing, and staying nimble. These were the ones who saw the narrow way open up. Without fear, they slipped through and moved forward because they were ready, curious, and unburdened.
Application:
Ask yourself, have I become comfortable in a past season? Am I waiting for God to act, when He already has? The obstacle you’ve been praying about might already be gone. This is a season to stay flexible, alert, and willing to move when He says move. Don’t rely on your own strength; walk through the way God has already opened.
Deuteronomy 1:6 (NIV) The LORD our God said to us in Horeb, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain!"
Isaiah 43:19 (NIV) "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?"

Cast Your Nets!
Just as I called my disciples, so I am calling you now. Just as I asked Simon Peter to let down his nets into deeper waters – I am asking you to trust me, and to go deeper with me.
Deeper waters is where you will find blessing, abundance and resource; the spiritual riches in that place of immersion in the Spirit are abundant and limitless. There is an ease to life in the Spirit; not toil and labour, which are the ways of the world. In the place of abiding, all needs are met.
The place of blessing can lead some to self-sabotage, as feelings of unworthiness emerge, but I have called you not to live from a place of fear. The spiritual riches that I have for you should lead you to a place of awe and reverence at who I am. So do not focus on your perceived self-lack. Instead, trust me as you cast your nets deeper into me, for I have called you to follow and what I have for you is always more.
Set aside your own agenda, and your past dreams of what you thought life ‘should’ look like, for the call that I have on you is higher and deeper still. And just as Simon Peter found, it is worth giving everything for.
Activation:
Sit with the Lord and ask him to bring to mind an area of your life that is currently in shallow waters. It may be finances, work, ministry, family, friendships etc. Repent of any times that you have self-sabotaged through fear.
Answer Jesus’ call to follow him, and to trust him with that area of your life. Give him your yes. Ask him where to cast your nets. What should you do to involve him deeper in this area, and how can you partner with him to release the blessing that he has for you?
Go deeper still! Is there anything that he is asking you to give up, or to lay down in order for you to be able to fully answer the call to follow him with your whole life?
Luke 5:4-6 (NIV) “When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break!"
