On what planet was GG ever set to be a business. Everything they have sold for adopts or auction has been to support them during times of need or to the lorekeeper website. Nothing they do has the frequency to support the owner, the mod team, or the programmers. It is very clear by their activity that the moderators and owner have a life outside of the internet. They have obligations outside of the silly opossum game.

Y'all are the ones interpreting this group as a business and you're putting your wyngro bias onto it. Wyngro was run in a very distinct way because it DID support their owner. It was in open speculation for years weather or not the owner actually paid taxes on the patreon funds or from the sales from the store and adopt. Grimsby Grove does not have a store. They do not have a patreon. The closest they have to the success to wyngro is the auction adopts, which the participants set the prices to themselves in how much they want to bid. I find it absolutely crazy you all want the same dedication from the owner and mod team to wyngro as they did before.

I stopped checking this blog for a good while, but I need to say to the two people who love arguing back: Yall do realized Grimsby Grove is technically a BUSINESS? The mods are free to have fun, but not in locations that they should be acting professional (Ex: The sneak peak channel). The mods struggle to seperate where they need to be professional and where they can just be silly. They also need to provide a much clearer picture of what is being worked on by what mods

Despite your own intentions when it comes to your ask, it's completely moot when you go into the archives of this very blog and you see the vitriol of anons. They're wishy-washy and are on the verge of a complete catfight in dms, with the only thing stopping them being the anon feature. Nothing here has been criticism. The tongue and cheek 'mod bullying' from the stair ears truly shows how little this blog and its anons respect the mod team and their work.

I'll also talk how I damn well please. I dont give a shit about being mature or the better person to anons. They have the gall to directly call directly out moderators and users with no repercussions. Calling the owner shady is one thing, but outright calling them a predator or the rest of their partners as being weird around the child side of the group is downright immoral and illegal on grounds of defamation/ libel.

Also contrary to popular belief and my title as the GG Whiteknight, I actually don't particularly agree with a lot of the current state of the group. Approvals take forever, the speak peak role gets pinged too often for in-jokes, and the adult side of the group doesn't know how to behave outside of the adult channels in the rest of the discord/ on DA.

HOWEVER. If I have those issues, I talk with other people. In the discord. Maturely. I don't go to the grimsbygrovestavesrestdrama blog and piss my pants about how the mods should be working day in and out and treating the arpg as a job. Which oh boy that's a take I'm getting to next.

In short, this blog was initially started as to address the 'groomer' allegation that was brought up in this very blog, and even after that was dismissed and swept under the rug by the blog owner themselves, which fantastic work btw. that was their own fault too that we were led to that conclusion but that's for later:tm:

Regarding the anon defender, I want to assure you that my intention is not to offend or be mean. I genuinely want to offer constructive feedback, but I am not comfortable revealing my name to do so. I understand that you view the mods positively, but saying that doesn’t magically change my own opinion of them.

It’s great you have a good view on them! Again- not everyone has the same experience as you do. What may be a positive and uplifting interaction for one person could be neutral or even negative for another, influenced by past experiences and personal expectations. I believe that constructive criticism can still be valuable, even if it comes from an anonymous source, not everyone here has the intention to outright slander the group

All that being said, engaging here feels no better than the behavior being criticized. While engaging in this manner may seem justifiable, it’s important to remember that targeting and belittling anonymous individuals is neither mature nor respectful. Regardless of how much a comment may hurt, responding in kind is not the way. I highly doubt my comments will change a single thing but happy to get my opinion out.

The mods do not owe yall fuck or shit in content. They can take as much god damned time as they’d like to. Yes It Is Preferable for them to stay on top of approvals and keeping up to date with trading. But they dont have to offer that. They dont have to offer anything they’re doing here.

Its been said before but I’m saying it again, for a third time, LEAVE if its that fucking painful for you to be in the group. Hell you dont even need to be apart of the group if you want to continue interacting with the plot. Nobody is forcing you to abide by the rules. Go fucking feral and start posting art that breaks the canon and use your own rules. Have some creativity and break yourself out of ARPG hell if you so desire.

I don't think the GG white knight realizes it's incredibly important to highlight when the moderation is being hypocritical of established rules that members are expected to follow. It isn't about whether stair ears should/shouldn't be allowed to emote; it's the fact the website explicitly said no, and lucky broke the rule anyways and only "reconned" when they were called out here. Mods should be held accountable and follow legality rules just like members, otherwise what's the point.

It’s not just GG. But we personally do it out of respect for others. A lot of people dont look back on that time fondly. It enabled a lot of bad spending habits. Also there was, you know. A straight up good number of predatory people in Wyngro. (Not even in the nonce sense of predator but between power imbalance and exploitation)

What sparked the calling of wyngro "wingstop" in GG cause like I get it people don't like the owner and came from there but they're also treating it as if the wyngro is trauma. They even spoiler tag images of wyngro characters on the discord and give it a warning. It feels like its a bit much if you were never staff there and had to be super directly involved, all you did was draw your ocs.
