when you love garlic bread, have some money, and are pretty hungry
Ingredients
A pack of pandesal bread
Minced garlic
Salted stick of butter
Parsley flakes
A small bowl
A pan
Toaster oven
Tongs (optional)
Oven Mitts (semi-optional)
Instructions
Preheat the toaster oven to 300º Fahrenheit
Cut some of the bread in half. Fill the whole pan if you want to. (I’ve finished whole pans before so just fill the whole pan in case you’re really hungry)
Cut a chunk off of the butter and plop it in the bowl. Take a spoonful of the minced garlic (fresh or jarred) and plop it in the same bowl.
Microwave for about 30 seconds before putting the parsley flakes in.
Brush the garlic butter onto the bread. If there’s extra just slather it onto the bread again.
Place all of the bread into the oven and bake for 10 minutes, checking after 5 minutes to see if any of them are ready.
Place the finished bread onto the pan (you can put cloth on the pan so you don’t get so many crumbs on the pan) and let it cool so you can eat it without burning anything.

For people who might be in a tight spot or just really like garlic bread, this might be the recipe for you if you can spare a couple of dollars to buy the stuff! It’s quick, simple, and you can mass make them if you buy a big enough pack of bread! I don’t know if you can substitute a toaster oven for an actual oven, but maybe it’s possible?
I absolutely love this recipe! The bread is soft, and is perfect for sandwiches, French toast, and pretty much everything you can think of. I don’t want to buy bread from the store ever again!
6 Cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ Cups very warm water
2 Tbsp. Active dry yeast
2 Tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
1 Tbsp. Butter
Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar and let sit until the surface is foamy (If it’s doesn’t foam, the yeast doesn’t work).
When yeast is activated, add 3 cups of the flour, the salt, and the butter. Mix until thoroughly combined, about 2 minutes.
Once mixture is smooth, add the remaining 3 cups of flour. I recommend folding the flour in until fairly combined before kneading.
Once combined, knead dough for 6-8 minutes in a stand mixer, or 8-10 minutes by hand.
Form dough into a ball, cover with plastic wrap or a cloth, and let rise for 45 minutes.
Cut dough into 2-3 equal pieces and place into a buttered bread pan, and brush melted butter (or olive oil). Allow to rise in the loaf pans for an additional 10-15 minutes. (🍞 Tip: Use a small knife to make a slit longways across the bread to prevent splitting along the side of the bread.)
Bake bread in a 375°F oven for 30 minutes uncovered, and and additional 10 minutes covered in foil to prevent excess browning.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease or line one cookie sheet with parchment; set aside.
Combine Bisquick with cold butter in a medium bowl using a pastry cutter (I just use a fork to cut the butter into the mixture). Don’t worry about mixing too thoroughly; there will be small chunks of butter in the mix about the size of peas. Add cheddar cheese, milk, and garlic powder. Mix by hand until combined, but don’t over mix.
Drop 1/4 cup portions of the dough onto the lightly greased or parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 11-13 minutes in preheated oven or until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn light brown.
While the biscuits are baking, melt butter is a small bowl in the microwave. Stir in garlic powder and dried parsley flakes.
After biscuits have come out of the oven, use a brush to spread the garlic butter over the tops of all the biscuits. Sprinkle a little kosher salt on the freshly coated biscuits. Makes one dozen.
