And something heaven was supposed to be for Aziraphale as well. Crowley was the first to realise heaven wasn’t a safe harbour, but didn’t have anyone else to turn to. Aziraphale was the first to, after having realised the same, find his actual harbour, and in the demon Crowley, of all places.
Tumblr media
I've been thinking about this scene a lot and how kind Crowley is to Aziraphale, being a safe harbor for Aziraphale, something heaven was supposed to be to Crowley but never was.

I'm confused about the GO timeline. When Crowley and Aziraphale first meet, we learn that They will be "shutting all this down again in about 6,000 years.". But Crowley tells Nina and Maggie that he and Aziraphale have been talking for millions of years. How is that possible?
Because there was lots of Good Omens angel time before Earth Time started.

Today Crowley and Aziraphale decided to go on a road trip picnic. Crowley wanted to use the GPS on his phone, but Aziraphale insisted that maps work just as well, if not better, and batted his lashes until Crowley put the phone away. Naturally, they were lost within the hour. After much playful bickering, the Bentley decided to take matters into its own hands, and drove them to a lovely spot where they enjoyed their sandwiches and champagne.

The picnic - (2023)
"Aww, You see! Isn’t a picnic a good idea ? And this linen shirt I gave you Iooks absolutely lovely on you."
"Argh...I don't know...I guess! Not sure about the shirt, though: it's not really my color."

Hi Neil!
I just finished watching Dead Boy Detectives and loved it!!
I have a question about it, though:
There is a finnish painting called ”Lemminkäisen äiti” by artist Akseli Gallen-Kallela, which really reminded me of the washer woman painting !! :))
I was wondering if there was any chance that it was inspired by it or if it’s just my imagination :D? (Really cool either way)
Tumblr media
(Here’s the painting, it’s about Lemminkäinen’s mother griefing the death of her son, based on Finland’s national epic Kalevala)
I personally have always loved that painting -- i first saw it in the Helsinki art museum in about 1997 and it was my second favourite painting there.
But I don't know the answer to your question.

shoemakerobstetrician replied to your post “Pinterest comments of the week: Good Omens S1…”
I believe the phrase is bedroom eyes.
@shoemakerobstetrician I believe you're right...

I also love that we have so many examples of Michael giving David bedroom eyes over the years and David either playing it cool or pretending not to notice, but the second David gives Michael bedroom eyes, Michael's brain goes completely offline for at least a minute. Like he can't even turn to look fully at David because he knows he'll never get the rest of the sentence out.
They're honestly both so un-subtle around each other, and I always can't help thinking that if either Michael or David was a woman, there would be no question of the undertones to the way they look at each other. Love, yes; adoration, certainly...but that sexual chemistry is undeniable...
