can't find the rem animation people are mentioning in your gyfcat collections. where is it?

Probably a good thing I haven’t completely kicked the habit it of checking Tumblr from time to time. Anyway, gfycat is being annoying, it seems. I tried to create a new collection and that didn’t show up either. It might be because they’re individually unlisted, but the Nyotengu and Gentiana collections also have the webms unlisted and they’re still there, not to mention it was working before... dunno what’s going on, but it’s irritating. Here’s a mega link instead. I included 2 animations of Cinque as well that I’ve done in the mean time. Queen will probably be next to be animated, though I’ve been working on learning Blender proper so that’s taken a bit of a back-seat. New animations in general will be a lot less frequent from me for now as I learn wtf I’m doing.

Will there be more Rem or is that it?

Definitely more Rem in the future, along with some of the other Type-0 girls eventually. But Rem was the one I wanted most out of Type-0, so yeah.

I considered it, but it’s not really my style. I’m a weirdo that gets social anxiety from the internet more than in-person stuff(i defy all sorts of trends), so I tend to avoid that sort of thing.

I just can’t stand Twitter as a concept, so yeah... it’s a mostly petty, personal problem, but eh. I’ll be mainly using the pixiv account, but I’m not sure how active I’ll be in the long run.

Not really. As a procrastinator, I’m woefully bad at this sort of thing. Still have no plans for a patreon, and I’m not getting a twitter. I hate twitter. Maybe I’ll get a pixiv account going, or maybe I’ll just post my stuff on reddit/boorus, or maybe I’ll just retire since DMC5 is going to sap my freetime when that releases in three months… not really sure at this point. I’ll think about it.

All I can say is tumblr is making a pretty dumb decision, but that’s not terribly surprising, just... disappointing, I suppose.

Been silent for a while, haven’t been animating all that much as of late since I’ve needed a bit of a break from it, but I’ve got stuff for Jihl, Gentiana, Nyotengu, and Aranea in the plans/works. Some animations are being more cooperative than others. Nyotengu is going well, Gentiana is going mostly well(most of what I want to do is going well, but a few ideas I’ve had since those are not going as well), Jihl is hit and miss, and Aranea is being a pain in the ass(as usual, which is why I don’t have a lot of Aranea stuff. It’s mostly a mental thing, I think).

Anyway, since Nyotengu is going best, here’s a small preview.

It’s the month of spooks, and I didn’t even post something spooky to start the month off. TBH, I just wanted to do something quick with the new DoA girl, so here’s that something I did. Her dress had to be designed with this sort of thing in mind. That, or I’m just a degenerate. Or both. All equally likely.

Can’t say when any of the Halloween stuff will come, but I am working on stuff so they’ll come when they come.

Today has been a wild ride with Dante’s theme dropping(and my opinion is that it’s pretty bad, and I’m usually okay with screams and guttural noises. The guy’s voice is way too shrill), having it implied to be written for DmC Dante only to end up edited out, it getting deleted from the YouTube channel, and then the TGS trailer dropping... but I gotta say that Dante looks great. Both gameplay-wise and his actual appearance. Bit weird to see his gameplay without turbo mode, but between his returning moveset with Rebellion/Coyote-A, the gauntlet weapon getting a rework(and looking a bit God Hand inspired which has been a wish of mine since 2006), and finally getting to use Sparda again(a wish since 2005 when DMC3 just gave us Force Edge), I’m pretty happy.

Also, Nero getting a vibrator devil breaker is the funniest thing ever.

Gonna do any animations with that Iris?

It’s definitely gonna happen. Got a couple ideas joggin’ in the noggin. The whole header ended up happening because I was going to start an Iris animation, but I wasn’t too happy with the body I was using so I started editing it, and then one thing led to another and the result was that I never started on the animation I had planned and ended up with the image I made instead. The good thing is that I have more ideas than I started with, at least.

How are you ?

I’m doing okay. Bit tired from sleeping problems(took waking up with backpain to realize I need a new mattress), and been procrastinating as far as Tumblr goes(got other asks to answer, but I’ve just been lazy), but nothing particularly outstanding otherwise. I’m just counting the days until the Dante trailer/info from TGS.

I also changed my header because the month of spooks is upon us.

Real talk if Trish dies I’m giving up on DMCV

I honestly don’t expect anyone to die in DMC5, outside of villians naturally. I know Itsuno said something about wanting people to cry at the game, but there are other ways to make people cry besides killing a character.

If anything, I don’t see Itsuno killing off Dante and Trish since they’re Kamiya’s characters.

Can't really answer, since I'm just using other people's models who go for that. I agree that I'd prefer canon proportions, and while I could probably edit the models to fit a more canon size, just take a glance at my name to figure out why I haven't.

I may do some DW9 stuff at some point, and Lianshi is up there on characters I want to do something with. As for Tifa, I don't know. I don't really have a much inspiration to do anything with her at the moment.

Primarily graph editor to get the basic animation down, but I do use motion editor to smooth certain bits of animation out or add motion that would screw up the graphs.
