The 90s hip hop/classic boy band sound of EXIST is all I’ve ever wanted from exo I am OBSESSED.

From the promos to the production it’s just so we’ll done. And it’s so impressive and lovely to see that they can slam out an ENTIRE album with falsetto in almost every chorus and it’s like— BUTTER. And not just falsetto. Difficult runs, complex syncopated beats, multiple different roles that line up to a grand reunion of voices that is SO hard to keep track of and tricky harmonies that would be so hard to maintain live!!!

From Mama where you can see them straining but still nailing it, to now years later being able to just easily carry those notes and that technique—AMAZING. I totally know they are trusted by their trainers not to break their voices.

Cream soda alone is so incredibly technically difficult. And the dingo video is just further proof of how much they’ve matured and mastered their craft.

I just love this album and it feels so well deserved and considered for such a multitalented group of guys :’)

(Special shout out to Suho and Xiumin for carrying those falsettos just as much as chen baek soo hehe)
