Danny Pretends To Be An Old Man When Summoned

I just had a hilarious thought of how, in many fics, Danny pretends to be an ancient being when he is summoned. I then thought about how often Clockwork serves as a mentor and is willing to mess with people. He teaches Danny how to change his appearance to be older or younger in such a way that it is impossible to prove he isn't that age.

With that out of the way, the idea I had was of him pretending to be a kind (possibly senile) old man who doesn't know where he is. Just full on make people think they essentially kidnapped him from the ghost version of a retirement home. Maybe have Dani be in on it and start berating them for kidnapping her grandfather, can't you see he's retired? If you want a ghost king au or crossover, then it would be about how, no, that was his evil brother (Dan as a scapegoat). Not every ancient being gets more powerful as they get older; they just Get Old! She could even guide him through the steps of reversing the summoning, like someone walking their grandparents through how to use a computer.

Dani: Say bye to the costumed weirdos, grandpa!

Danny: Have fun with your party! *Turns to Dani* Whose birthday was it today? I can't remember. And where's the cake? What sad birthday has no cake?

Edit: The other situation I thought of is them asking why no one else has taken the throne. Just make them look horrible for even asking, since it's a trial-by-combat passing of the crown.

Dani: Are you saying you WANT to beat up a sweet old man? What the heck is wrong with you people! No one with any decency wants to hurt him, and everyone who does gets beaten up by the ones with a shred of decency. Let's get away from these fruitloops gramps.

The UK government is considering debating the Online Safety Act

As the government petition to repeal the online safety act has far surpassed its goal of 100k signatures, Parliament has officially considered this matter for a debate and a date will be decided in the next month. There is also a government response, which reads: "The Government is working with Ofcom to ensure that online in-scope services are subject to robust but proportionate regulation through the effective implementation of the Online Safety Act 2023."
