This is such a cool idea.

A few questions if you don't mind:

Does Midoriya gain strenght of a ship even on land?

How tall are battleships/carriers because I love headcanon that they are amazonian/giants (similar height to the Ordinary Woman)

For transformations into named ships vs generic ones what are limitations? Does it work like Momo's quirk and Izumi needs to know exact details about ship legend she wants to involve (does it involve chanting some of the info?)

Also what are benfits does named ships gain additional "quirk" based on history like Yamato being basicly ship All Might, hospital ships giving a AoE healing, or that american ship with ice cream giving her power to make ice cream on demand

How Izumi started working with Japanesee Coast guard? Was she deputed by that lone hero that retired before the movie?

Can her gear be modified? As in will she be molested by Hatsume?

Did she go destroyer for enterance exam only to see ochako hurt and go Yamato (i.e. from smol child into "Mommy step on me") and blow the Zero pointer with a full naval barage.

This following idea is one I've been going over in my head for months, a crossover between My Hero Academia and Kantai Collection/Azure Lane in which a female iteration of Midoriya Izuku is a Shipgirl.

Midoriya Izumi had her Quirk misdiagnosed as "Water Riding" for her ability to walk on and ride across the waters surface as if she had engines mounted in her heels, Izumi would not discover the full extent of her Quirk until later and as a result of her "useless" Quirk she would be bullied. In this idea Inko was quick to spot the bullying and after the school refused to do anything about the bullying due to the bullies having powerful quirks, Inko moved out of Mustafa to the more serene seaside city of Nabu. It was in Nabu where Izumi discovered her love of the sea and the true extent of her Quirk, it was on one "run" out on the water where she assisted the Coast Guard in a rescue by towing stricken Yacht to the safety of Nabu. It was on that Yacht where Izumi would meet her new best friend, Yaoyorozu Momo, whose family had been on a boating trip when they ran afoul of a sudden squall which crippled the yacht and the young Momo was given a front row seat to watch a girl about her age tow her family's yacht into Nabu.

Several years later a much older Midoriya Izumi is standing among the other UA hopefuls, having blitzed through the written exams the shipgirl stood ready to take the practical portion of the exam and give her Plus Ultra. Izumi's true Quirk allowed her to perform either a Named Transformation into a personification of named vessel or a Generic Transformation into generic unnamed vessel as well as effecting her body. When Izumi became a Destroyer or smaller type of shipgirl, her body took on a more childlike appearance but retained the capabilities and armament of the vessel. When she became a Cruiser or similarly sized vessel, her form became that of what she would look like in her late teens to early adult years while retaining the abilities and armaments of the vessel. The same occured when she assumed the formed of a Battleship or Aircraft Carrier but giving her the appearance of how she might looks as a young adult although she did have much more muscle mass as a Battleship. The larger the vessels overall powerplant horsepower, the stronger she was and if needed she could become as heavy as the vessel in question.

This was the Midoriya Izumi that stood before the gate leading to the testing grounds, ready to take the next step to become a hero for real.

I just realize how funny Grover and Penny’s dynamic is gonna be.

One of them can literally sense and read emotions. The other is almost sociopathic, that has no empathy and almost bored 24/7 whose main source of happiness is causing trouble for other people.

Grover here is walking in a thin line as he tries his best to understand the almost emotionless bomb that will explode in any second.

Where fanon took over canon completly

Fanon infesting a fandom is endemic to fandoms in general. From BNHA’s fanon of having Bakugo’s explosions smelling sweet to ML’s fanon of Adrien being a creep, to a certain work’s fanon of one of their villain’s lounging on a La-Z-Boy. They all spread until people forget their fanon.

I am aware that it's not restricted to any one fandom, and it would make for an interesting study

So question about Little Oceanid: Did other kids in school talk about Furnina's movies while she was within earshot?

Sometimes they did, if they did Furina would slightly eavesdrop on them. Other times the conversation would go there because they’d see Furina’s face and go:

I think that it could work:

- MC is a younger brother of classic "too beautiful for this countryside town" girl.

- MC's sister is threaten by a officer that finds her pretty enough to be a bribe for Emperor

- MC manges to replace his sister during the transit

- MC meets love intrest a fellow concubine of the Emperor who was also there against her will

- MC and FL become deurotagonists who try to scheme their way into both survival and maybe even more power

- A sudent plot twist happens, maybe Emperor grows sick and is on his deathbed which means concubines are about to be forced to join him in heaven

- maybe female lead turns out to be a princess of another country that wants to break free from the empire

- maybe Emperor wants to get a taste of MC, which would reveal that the girl is a boy

Reverse Mulan about a young man who disguises himself as a noblewoman and has to learn how to do passive-agressive politicking at dinner parties.

I like or even love the villainess au; the absurds that "original game" had that Marinette noticed before being reincarnated are fun.

So villainess is evil because she was born greedy makes sense for "the game". I would find said game boring, and because I love tragic backstory for the villains in most cases.

Sorry if that wasn't clear, but to reitrate "Backstory of OG!Marrinette fits how the otome game was presented to be: tashy (or at very least cashgrab)"

Would I prefer a different backstory? Sure, but the AU isn't about the original villainess but about "He asked for no picckles" Marrinette, so that is fine.

Great even if it is used to make fun of Liela later on as she tries to us her "knowledge of Marrinette" against her.

So about Vilianess AU: I don't think that anyone asked but why OG!Marrinette was obessed with her prince(aside from him being hot), especially given that OG!Adrien was an asshole?

Like did her parents and her Nino die one by one with only her fiance as one remaining part of her family?

She sees him as the most desired man in the world so she wants to possess that

Goddess of Salt

So, I read @chaoticdumbassrogue 's of the fountain and of Manhattan fanfics of Athenide au, and I love them and the au as a whole.

But the thing is: I LOATH PJO!Athena. Seriously, I forgot most of the series but I remember hating the bitch. So out of my salt for her, this au was born (also I am a filthy Percabeth supremacist so no Apollo romance, but they will be besties):

What if Perse was born as just a Naiad of the fountain?

After the contest, Athena rejects Perse, which makes Percy happy (sidenote, but Percy was a guy before being telefraged to ancient Greece), which makes her storm off "because how dare this fountain spirit be happy that she doesn't want her"

Adoption by Amphritrite goes very well (later on, she will even give Percy a domain over salt together with Hades, so Perse is goddess of all salt used by man)

Anyway, Perse is very well loved by her siblings despite having one eye be grey like that bitch athena (I like heterochromia okay)

She eventually does something extremely Percy-like and intervenes to save a city in Ionia (the Anatolian side of Greece) despite being just a naiad and her fountain, i.e., her true self, being very far away. Because a mortal (the first demigod of Hephestus) that she befriended was in danger.

Because of that, she fulfils her ascension condition and becomes the goddess of Loyalty and Patron of that city (either the city of Ionia itself, Doris or Halicarnassus, whichever is closer to a volcano)

Cue Athena trying to get custody. Like a century after Perse's birth...

Perse wasn't denied by Styx's oath because, as much as I prefer modern-day Poseidon, he isn't as clever to pre-emptively protect Perse. So yeah, Perse will need to castrate someone (probably Helios, who would want a newer model (eugh))

Perse gets an awesome temple/home that doubles as an Orphanage and school where she actively lives most of the time.

I have a lot of thoughts about said temple, but that's for later if anyone will care to ask

The last important thing is that Perse tried to make a "new rome but in greece this time" after Lamia cursed the demigods (and Perse torn Lamia into so many shreds that she never risen again); so Camp half-blood was a downgrade which Dio and Chiron remember and will told demi-gods in the future.

Perse has elf ears that blush and wiggle when she thinks of Annabeth (she is a simp)

Maybe they are another small family and without Overhaul(who probably works for HPSC) she probably moves in with only cousins that want her(her grandfather was already old so him dying ealier without a talented doctor makes some sense), Midoriyas.

Hototogisu - So a question that I'd surprised isn't on anyone else's minds for this AU that I don't remember seeing mentioned yet... Where's Eri? I can't imagine Chisaki Kai not being a major player or part of one of the big groups here, but Eri likely could be the heir to one of the gorups, so... Shrug?

I could actually see Overhaul as not being a major player because organized crime was never destroyed by All Might, and AFO wasn't there to orphanage him. That being said, I have not figured out where Eri or the Eight Precept are, or what they're up to

Others x Hive Mind

The OFA Entity enjoys having so many pieces for its game with the AFO Entity. And before anyone says so, it isn’t cheating, since he didn’t cause this. The AFO Entity grumbles but must deal with it.
