Another look at living with Chronic Pain. Everything has to be done in sections. I had a few goals this morning. Getting laundry organized, shower, get dressed, clean up makeup/bathroom area and get to UCO to fill out HR paperwork. I got most of that done. But now it’s time for a nap. So I’m on Mike’s side of the bed because my laundry is on the other side. There is no more “don’t stop u til the job is done.” Doing that nearly killed me. I had to learn that it’s okay if there was dog hair on the floor, dishes in the sink and laundry in the hamper. What mattered more was that I was available for my children and not constantly sick from trying to uphold a false standard of perfection.
