This new cosmetic dental facility offers a bright, comfortable atmosphere located in the center of the City of Eagan. One of the advantages of having a new facility was the chance to develop the exact vision Dr. Stanton wanted for her offices. She wanted a world-class facility to go wither her world-class services. This client wanted the space to reflect a “hotel Aesthetic” with the colors, materials, and furnishings typically found in high-end hotels. Contemporary lighting and decorative wall covering complete the design. Located on a prominent site between the main thoroughfare into Lindstrom, MN, and the lake, this Dental Office was built from the ground up.

Modern, yet timeless, this building fits easily alongside the existing structures.

The reception area takes advantage of the high volume-vaulted ceiling. Six operatories straddle each side of the building allowing each chair access to windows and the scenery beyond. Common functions such as Sterile, Guest Restroom and the Manager’s Office are centrally located along the core.

Operatory end walls are brightly colored with playful light fixtures mounted at various heights to help with wayfinding.

Breaking away from her former partner and Father, this endodontist wanted her new facility to reflect her feminine, outgoing nature, while not looking like a “typical” dental office.

Most of the clientele are not return customers due to the nature of the specialty. Seeking a relaxing, more residential environment, it was important that the space soothes the client waiting for the procedure.To this end, the space was designed with warm colors, elegant lighting fixtures and high quality, unexpected furnishings, some chosen by Dr. Gulden herself.

Alma Flor Ada created a new learning opportunity in the ever-growing Woodbury area of Minnesota. As a complete Spanish Immersion childcare site its mission statement ...” empowers all children to flourish in a global world through Spanish language acquisition and social-emotional development”. The client group vested deep into this statement as we collectively developed this converted branch bank into an inclusive learning environment for the area's youngest residents. A bright, welcoming entry with vivid wall decals welcomes caregivers and children alike. Immediate upon entry is an accessible self-check-in desk and merch area for drop off/pick up procedures. A secure entry brings students into a brightly lit atrium which was a carryover from the previous occupant. Progressive Architecture wanted to highlight the ceiling’s finishes and height to make the classroom entries inviting for all. Since this is the primary corridor in the entire space it was kept intentionally wide and open. Metropolitan Pediatric DentalEagan, MN Lively graphics and a friendly color pallet abound at this relocated clinic serving all pediatric dental needs in Eagan, Minnesota. A large client team melded together to agree on a functional floor plan, finishes, and shared team spaces. The primary goal was to create an environment where young children to older teenagers and their caregivers feel welcomed and comfortable. The large reception desk, dark with light contrasts beautifully with the hints of bright fuchsia and an adjacent area rug. Gold and black lighting add elegance to the spaces throughout. Located in the south metro area, Comfort Dental sought to be an inviting and calming dental experience. Space was designed with large windows that allowed soothing, natural light to bathe the patient rooms as well as the employee break room.

Cool, natural colors were utilized to mirror the sky as it reflected through the spacious windows. To personalize each operatory room, Progressive Architecture designed the walls to fold over the hallways. Light, natural wood tones warm the cool paint tones and harmonize with the warmer wood tones of the dental equipment.

The reception desk was designed to be airy and open, and the large lobby offers both a children’s area and a fish tank. Comfortable chairs and couches finish the look and create a welcoming atmosphere.

This dental office offers unique design on the dental office. Expressing the natural features of the material was essential in this project.

Concrete countertops, hand-burnished metals, raw wood combined with the owner's eclectic vintage furnishing express the owner's idea of the dental office.

Utilizing the client's metal sculpting talents, sculptures are placed throughout the office giving a raw industrial feel. Warm colors and textures in the waiting, reception and consultation rooms help make patients feel at ease.

Formerly located in a typical two-story office building, this client purchased an older building in downtown Hudson occupied by a bookstore and two tenants.

The client liked the aesthetic of an older building with brick, old world wood flooring juxtaposed against the clean, sterile dental equipment.

Progressive Architecture worked with her to give her the aesthetic she wanted within a very tight budget, making use of some of the existing materials like the brick wall, wood floors, reusing light fixtures, doors, and even repurposing a beam from the basement as the support for the restroom countertops. Weathered barn wood was sourced for the soffit over the reception desk. The ceiling beams were exposed and industrial light fixtures were used.

Located north of Duluth, MN on a serene lake, the Harris cabin, guest house, and boathouse incorporate the local vernacular style with a contemporary feel.

The guest house has a large wood-burning fireplace in the center with an open plan design to let the outdoors inside. One can gaze onto the lake while relaxing in the space.

The main cabin is a complete remodel of an existing 60’s walk-out rambler. Progressive Architecture added a large new entry portico and mudroom to ease tight entry conditions of the existing cabin. New finishes on the interior and a large new fireplace and TV area add to the usability for the family.

When this family-owned restaurant had the opportunity to expand next door into a former liquor store, the owner jumped at the chance to grow her business. The bar received a dramatic facelift and is now a mix of its iconic sports memorabilia, heavy stone arches, and a sleek, new bar.

A new party room opens to the bar with a fun overhead door, anchoring the space. At the other end of the restaurant, the new dining room takes up the recently acquired lease space, where elegant fabrics, atmospheric lighting, unique decor, and a stunning mural maintain Panino’s homey charm.
