He Craves Blood

He is a demon possessing a banana. He craves violence.

His favorite activity is being violently thrown at your enemies. His favorite food is dust scraped off the roof of hell.

I think Lena’s biggest weakness is over-empathizing with everything. How many times does he get maimed because he wouldn’t fight back to kill? Instead looking for some alternative way out.

If he wasn’t immortal he would be dead.

But I think because he is immortal, he allows this to go so far. He knows his vampirism allows him to survive more harm than most other beings. I guess he feels an obligation to use that for mercy.

But his empathy often puts him in a place of indecision. For a man who would rather save everybody, it is hard to decide whether it is more right to step in as a shield, or let nature take its course. After all, zombies are creatures, and they gotta eat too.

I know in the demo vids you’ve seen me test fight back against monsters while playing as Lena, but that was so I could demonstrate the combat system. The real Lena didn’t like to fight monsters.

Modules!!!

Hello! Just letting you know, the next phase of Lenacraft will be happening in modules. I’ve boiled down the core elements of what this modpack should be, and I want to work independently on each one without the other aspects lagging my game.

They are all meant to be played together in the end, but for development I want to remain focused, before finally moving into a phase where I develop the final combined product.

The original Lenacraft was a very special experience to me, and I will stop at nothing to recreate that experience for everyone.

Devlog Update:

Good Evening and Happy Late Easter! I am proud to announce Lenacraft 2.0 is back in stable condition.

A New Direction:

While working on Lenacraft’s modlist and fixing it back into working shape, I contemplated what my real goal was for the pack, came to a new conclusion and jotted down an outline. I want Lenacraft to be a very open-ended pack focused on immersing the player in their own personal adventure, something akin to the first time opening Minecraft, but in a world much, much more in-depth deeper.

Not so much a full direction change as a laser-focus on the details needed to make my goal a reality.

What’s New?

One of my all-time FAVORITE mods, and a mod from original Lenacraft, has finally updated and can now be used on 1.20.1.

That mod is: Genetic Animals!

Genetic Animals overhauls the look and functionality of basegame livestock and gives the world a new feel.

Devlog:

Sifted through most of the mods. Very close to the culprit! Just have to narrow it down.

I have my suspicions the Entity Culling mod is involved in the issue, because the game fails to start whenever I remove it. We’ll see though.

Found the culprit for the pesky 'At World's End' glitch. Good ol' Noisium.

Where'd the rest of my "infinite world" go, huh?

Still looking for what is causing all the world's mobs to lock up though. And preventing proper chunk loading.
