Each edition seems to get more unhinged, somehow. Last month's shenanigan within the team was Kori saving me from being eaten(?), and this month's is about- marraige? I dunno! You'll have to read and figure it out.

Of course, there's also updates about the game and script, and plenty of other fun things. But this month's letter takes the winning place of 'most interesting to format'! Enjoy!

‘Ello! Kori here to deliver the first ever LUMEN update in terms of the actual game. because there’s progress with the pre-alpha build, muchachos >:3

There’s not much I can show without getting punted into the sun but-

Here you have an early build of the main menu and a character selection (for debug/testing purposes)

Oh, but, Kori. I definitely hear you asking. Didn’t you say the game would be made with Unity? And. Yeah I did say that. But now it’s godot because pie offered to help with some minigames. So! I’ve been learning how to godot efficiently :D

Yet there is an even earlier screenshot of what the main menu looked like in unity, a fun tidbit for you all even if it was scrapped :3

And that’s all! Byte-sized Mondays will be short, quick fortnightly (might be weekly during break) updates on the game straight from the Source for you guys to get a better feel of how the game is coming along while I put together longer devlogs :3

We are mostly through handing out acceptance letters! As of now all of the background artists have been contacted, and most if not all of the writers have been as well. UI artists will be contacted within the next two-three days, due to unforeseen circumstances. Thanks everyone that applied!

If you got accepted, please read the acceptance letter thoroughly. Some links have also had issues, so if any aren't working you can reply to the person that sent it for a new one.

And, to everyone that applied that didnt get through, we genuinely are sorry. There was an amazing range of talent that applied and we appreciate each and every one of you that took the time to apply!
