I have many questions: 1. Do you absolutely have to make a teacher for the school? 2. Do you know when the next event is? 3. How long has this school been going on for? 4. How will this school thing work out? Like what are the teachers and students for and is there a schedule for different classes?... How will I know what my classes are... idk I'm just confused.

hey so.. I'm kind of a extremely shy person and so I'm just wondering um. Do you HAVE to join the discord server to be part of this project? I'm debating whether or not I want to but just-- shyness

you dont have to but it’d be extremely helpful! most of the information for the project comes from the discord, and it comes from individuals so new teacher and student info is up to date there. it takes me a while to get the information and put it on here, especially the teacher bios. but i’ll try to put events and news up on this blog for those who aren’t a part of the discord.

Hi!!!! I ABSOLUTLY love the idea of pokemon school and ive seen a lot of blogs pop up recently. Id like to join and have an oc in mind to send but.. shes a legendary fusion. Mew and Jirachi. Would that not be suitable for school? Teacher or student?? Im afraid to join the server since i dont have anything really planned..

hmm that’s a toughie right there. legendaries/mythicals are supposed to be scarce in this “AU”, so having a fusion of two mythicals would be EXTREMELY rare. We’d also prefer it if you made a new character for this so as to not cause confusion for your followers. If you have any more questions, don’t be afraid to ask!

to the pokemon ask blog community:

my proposition is that i want to make a “sub-community” in the pokemon ask blog community: Project Pokemon School!

it’s ideal design is to be a series of ask blogs run by individuals that runs in the same setting, a school run by pokemon!

anyone can join or leave at any time, but there will be a few “rules”, to keep things safe, of course

basically, you can make a character or a few that will go to the school, interact with other blogs in the school, and participate in events!

you don’t have to be super active, just popping in at least once or twice every few months should keep things going.

and the main goal of this is to make more activity and communication between pokeblogs so everyone in the community can make more friends and get to know each other

Amaryllis Discord and other information

Amaryllis Academy is a private boarding school in a new region that hasn't been named yet. Pokemon from around the world come to attend this school.

In this world, humans have gone extinct hundreds of years ago. There are artifacts left behind from humans that pokemon have come to discover and seek out, such as anime. Many pokemon are fascinated by humans and believe that they still exist, so things like the Human Club have been formed.

Legendary, mythical, and alternate colored pokemon are uncommon and are held with at a high status. Fusions/crossbreeds/hybrids are completely welcome.

Nearly every pokemon is anthropomorphic. We had an anthro magnemite at some point so anything is possible!

There are several documents in the server that can be used as reference and for planning. Some of these documents include the available courses, clubs, and the dormitory organization.

Teacher Introduction

Name: Ms. Powell 

Species: lopunny/florgess 

Coursesr: first aid, health education 

 Grading Style: moderately hard. You need to be pretty specific when it comes to health and first aid so she is more strict 

Personality: very sweet and usually soft spoken. But can easily flip if the class isn't paying attention or talking over her. 

 Relationships with other teachers: works along with Mr. D at times when teaching health to show exercise is a big part. Probably will hang out in Mr. Blomgren's garden for lunch/after school and talk about growing your own foods with Him 

Any other fun stuff: she can go on for days about the importance of eating right, you can catch her every morning before class going for a jog and if you stop by her class in the morning she will give you a healthy snack to start the day right!

Teacher? Introduction

Name: Tufts (he probably has a real name but everyone calls him Tufts) 

Species: Ambipom 

Courses: None, this guy’s a janitor. He does janitor things like empty trash bins, scrub the toilets, was that graffiti off the wall WHOKEEPSDOINGTHAT 

Grading Style: None. But since he tends to work nights if he sees students out past curfew or causing the slightest trouble he’ll report you to the principal, especially if he’s caught you doing things like that before. 

Relationships with other teachers: He’s not really one for conversation and probably doesn’t run into a lot of them anyways. 

Any other fun stuff: Tufts is a bit if an old yeller (he’s old and yells at you) and sometimes mutters swears when going through the halls. He’s rarely ever seen outside the school grounds, but some students say they’ve seen him down at the beach when it’s not busy... where he’s yelling at the ocean and questioning how he got stuck being a janitor.

Teachers Introduction

Name: Ms. Maryweather (Issabel) 

Species: Flaaffy 

Courses: Computer Sciences 

Grading Style: Pretty Lax. Isn’t the easiest, but as long as she knows you are trying, she won’t go harsh. 

Personality: Just a nice sheep who wants everyone to be friends. But don’t be deceived, she can and will put her foot down if she needs to. A huge nerd and 100% believes most of what she is told by Frank about humans. She isn’t gullible however, just want to believe. Outside of the school her life is pretty boring so she absolutely loves her job. 

 Relationships with other teachers: She's friendly to everyone, but is rarely seen without Prof. Porygon. It's unknown whether or not she created them, but most people assume she did. 

Any other fun stuff: Will play dumb if any teacher asks her about Prof. Porygon in any...anime context. 

 Name: Prof. Porygon 

Species: Porygon Z 

Courses: Computer Sciences (Assistant) 

Grading Style: Harsh. Will grade based solely on quality. Thankfully, Marywheather does all the grading. 

Personality: Being a weird sentient computer duck thing, they sometimes don’t get how to act like a normal Pokemon. Can’t speak outside of the computer, so they are generally a mystery to many. Glitches out of existence sometimes, don’t worry about it too much though. 

Relationships with other teachers: They don’t really interact with anyone outside of Ms. Maryweather and is never seen without her. 

Any other fun stuff: It’s said they teach students through a cute anime girl on the computer screen. Remember, what happens in computer science stays in computer science.

Teacher Introduction

Name: Mr. Sheldon O'Brien (art by me sodadog-modblog can be tagged for it) 

Species: Breloom 

Courses: none. He's the office secretary (like the one who calls students to the office and does morning announcements on the intercom) 

Grading Style: n/a he's just a secretary 

Personality: He's quite clumsy at times because of his short to no arms but he's super nice to the students and other staff members. He tends to be a little forgetful so he constantly writes things down. Usually when students are called to the office for rewards and stuff he'll also give them little prizes like candies or pencils and such. 

Relationships with other teachers: He basically works in the main office for the principal so he's most likely the closest to the principal of all the faculty members. 

Any other fun stuff: He was once a student at the Academy himself and usually walks through the campus grounds tidying up the areas Tufts misses after school hours and his usual work in the office are done.

"Hi!!! Good afternoon Amaryllis! Principal Mewnly here to give this year's first announcement! Yahoo!

"Most of our students have already arrived on campus, so we're gonna host a special festival in Amaryllis Park to celebrate the new school year before school officially starts on the 25th! There's gonna be a ton of booths and activities at the festival, and all of the proceeds are going towards charity! Cool, right? Anyway, the festival will start in a few hours and will go on until the evening of the 24th, I hope to see you there! Mewnly out!"

Teacher Introduction

Name: Mr. Miranda Manuel 

Species: Krokorok 

Courses: Spanish 

Grading Style: Hard ass but reasonable due to not everyone speaking the language correctly or simply not knowing. Will give A's if effort is put in. 

Personality: A Spanish teacher who has a deadpan demeanor and makes fun of the students who don't put effort in anything or are just troublemakers. He comes from the Alola region and is usually relaxed and calm. He likes to eat tropical berries in class and is shown to just talk about his life in class. 

Relationships with other teachers: He gets along well with the other teachers but has a crush on the Computer Science teacher and will give her berries to make her notice him. 

Any other fun stuff: He swears in front of the kids in Spanish but since the kids don't Spanish that well, he gets away from it.
