Event Description: Chiharu Hiroe’s mystery begins when her family receives a phone call summoning her to the ancient Tokime Village, a secluded nook in the mountains. Upon arrival, she asked to participate in the clan’s Diviner Ceremony and gain the power to fight for sake of the land of the Rising Sun against evil spirits called Devils. Being a girl who loves intrigue and has always dreamed of becoming a hero, just like her favorite TV show character Detective Todoroki, she accepts. However, she quickly senses that all is not what it seems in Tokime Village. A mystery is brewing! Will she and her new Diviner friends be able to escape the tides of fate, or will they drown in the dark secrets of the village?

Meet Chiharu Hiroe, a girl that loves mysteries, especially stories of the Wandering Detective Todoroki. Chiharu dreams of being a hero, and believes she's getting just that chance when she's summoned to the legendary Tokime Village to become a "Diviner". But things in the village are not quite what they seem, and it's up to her to uncover the truth! Auditions for Felicia Mitsuki, Alina Gray, and Kanagi Izumi are officially open!

Due to our voice actor for Felicia Mitsuki finding great professional success in her VA career, we are unfortunately having to recast the role. Congratulations Gillian Lange for graduating into the professional voice over scene!

Included in this casting call are also Kanagi Izumi and Alina Gray. In our previous casting call, the casting committee was unable to cast anyone in these roles.

Project Mokyuu is excited to announce that we are hosting our first-ever panel at Fan Expo Chicago!

On August 12th, at 3PM Central, representatives from Project Mokyuu will be presenting our panel: The Making of a Fandub!

In this panel, we'll be discussing what it's been like to work on a fandub with such a massive scope, what makes our dub of Magia Record Arc 2 so unique, and of course, some tips for anyone who'd like to produce a fandub of their own one day.

The panel will be in the Anime Theater (Room 33-34), and we'd love to have whoever can make it at an informal Magia Record fan meetup after the panel!

A MAJOR UPDATE!

Hello, everyone! Thank you so much for your interest in Project Mokyuu! We've been blown away by your auditions thus far!

Our team has decided to extend the deadline for all auditions to July 20th, 2023. We also highly encourage those who have auditioned already to try out for characters you have not yet auditioned for, as well as sharing this casting call to those in your circles. We are specifically looking for more auditions for Livia Medeiros, but we welcome auditions for any and all of the characters currently open.

Will the Kamihama Magia Union be able to achieve their dreams of peace among all Magical Girls, or will they be crushed under the pressure squeezing them from all sides?

Auditions for Yuna Kureha have officially reopened!

Because we were unsatisfied with the initial auditions we received for Yuna in our "Crimson Resolve" casting call, we have decided to re-open a dedicated casting call for the role of Yuna Kureha.

Please note that Yuna is a very important yet complex character, so our standards for this casting call will be elevated compared to previous casting calls. She has a distinct character arc over the course of both her introduction event (Crimson Resolve) and the Main Story of Magia Record.

As such, we are taking special care to find a voice actor who is capable of capturing all aspects of her character, from her caring and competent leadership to her furious need for vengeance for her dead friends.

Voice qualities: formal, soft-spoken, competent, sometimes menacing, sometimes wrathful

This casting call will last for two weeks. The deadline for auditions is May 5th, 2023.
