show, don't tell:
anticipation - bouncing legs - darting eyes - breathing deeply - useless / mindless tasks - eyes on the clock - checking and re-checking
frustration - grumbling - heavy footsteps - hot flush - narrowed eyes - pointing fingers - pacing / stomping
sadness - eyes filling up with tears - blinking quickly - hiccuped breaths - face turned away - red / burning cheeks - short sentences with gulps
happiness - smiling / cheeks hurting - animated - chest hurts from laughing - rapid movements - eye contact - quick speaking
boredom - complaining - sighing - grumbling - pacing - leg bouncing - picking at nails
fear - quick heartbeat - shaking / clammy hands - pinching self - tuck away - closing eyes - clenched hands
disappointment - no eye contact - hard swallow - clenched hands - tears, occasionally - mhm-hmm
tiredness - spacing out - eyes closing - nodding head absently - long sighs - no eye contact - grim smile
confidence - prolonged eye contact - appreciates instead of apologizing - active listening - shoulders back - micro reactions

I have to draw a lot of gold and metal for my work, but wasn't happy with any of the metal tutorials i could find around. I prefer really specific instruction, so after some research i put together what i think works as a generalist's guide/tutorial. Not perfectly accurate, but i hope it's helpful!

Update 1.28.2024
Highkey forgot about this account but I've been continuously working on this story so some updates?
To explain the hiatus: I've been making YouTube videos instead. Moving on.
So! On top of the Storyboard Posterboard™, the google doc has been created. 9 pages long and we've barely gotten through the introduction. It's fun, it's taxing, I'm content wasting my time with this project.
Biggest issue so far has been figuring out which medium of media this would be. In the beginning, I considered it being a choose-your-own-adventure video game. Similar to Life is Strange, Detroit: Become Human, the Walking Dead games, and so on.
I don't know how to make a video game, though. So if I want to put out my ideas sooner rather than later, video games is a no-go.
Although TPAH would make a great animated television series, like Vivienne's Helluva Boss, or movie series (I loathe trilogies, but, you know, Rule of Threes and all). But that would, again, be a later rather than sooner scenario.
Thus I've landed on webcomic. The only issue would be getting through the periodic months-long art blocks I have, but sketches are better than nothing.
Oh Pestilence, we're really in it now.
Here's a sneak peek snippet of a comic page with huge spoilers <3

Iya "Sloth" Lotus and Acid "Greed" Lotus, the oldest and presumably youngest of the monarchical line in the Lust circle. Both are good shots, and Acid makes/steals all their artillery.
2/5 of The Lotus Sisters.
