finishing the website 

After a few trails and errors of finding my way round the platform I eventually got to a stage where i was happy with the results of what I created.

After trying out a few or wix templates I found this one to be the best suited for me and this is where i start to play about with the functions of the website.

there were a lot of templates to chose from a few I liked but these one I felt were not for me as I didn't have images that could fit in the whole of the screen as most of my images were portrait.

while trying to build my artist website I looked at others to get inspiration and I really liked the way that this was setup.

the way this exhibition was set was really interesting there was so much going on but it was setup in was that it doesn’t overwhelm the viewer. there was a lot of space that you could walk around each piece and get a sense of what the artist is saying within their work.

In Emotia: France-Lise McGurn

I really enjoyed how this exhibition was set the artist utilised the entire space. from the windows to the walls the whole was turned into a mural. the she used the same colour palette and her use of lights that she turned into sculpture was amazing. this made me think back to when I done my own mural with other artists it made me realise that this is something I want to get back into.

Material Stories: Rosalind Lawless and Louise Ritchie

Louise Ritchie 

In this part of the exhibition I really liked way that artist utilised the space and they way she hung her materials on the wall. her use of bright colours really draws you into the space.

Material Stories: Louise Ritchie and Rosalind Lawless

I really liked the way that the artist Rosalind Lawless uses different materials to screen-print onto. They she hangs her work was really interesting in way to hang prints within in the space.
