Okay so the design style differences between 079 and Gquuuuuux being like an actual canonical timeline difference and not just a stylistic choice by the creators is really funny because it implies that, beyond being motivated by trying to save Char, Lalah Sune was being at least a little bit of a mecha design pervert.

this isnt meant as any sort of vague or anything because i really do understand the appeal of cool photography and science but that last post did make me start tearing up. “Deformed, damaged or rare brains” kept in a collection… ive mentioned sparingly that i have a sister with a rare disability and the idea of a researcher keeping her brain in a jar just makes me start crying. How many disabled people’s bodies lie stolen and sterile as someone else’s oddity? And its such a huge problem in academia like i know someone who works at my university whose said “yeah we keep accidentally finding more stolen remains of indigenous children in the collection” and the fact that these collections just sit there for decades…. Its ghoulish it really is

In 2011 while on assignment for Scientific American magazine, photographer Adam Voorhes discovered over 700 glass jars of damaged, deformed or rare brains preserved in formaldehyde that had been essentially forgotten in the bowels of the University of Texas Mental Hospital in the 1960s. He unearthed a storage closet containing hundreds of the specimens and developed an obsession with studying them.

lalah told me white gundams keep killing chars so i asked how many chars there are and she said she just creates a parallel universe with a new char afterwards so i said it sounds like she's just feeding chars to white gundams and then she started crying
