sorry if i'm gonna be quiet for a while. my country recently introduced laws that make it so that in order to use social media to the fullest (not being able to view ns/fw content and in a few cases, not even having access to dms), i HAVE to give the sites my id/face scan.

it goes into effect july 25th. it'll probably effect here too, since this place allows mature content (tho not full on ns/fw)

i'm very distressed about it bc i might end up not even being able to talk to my internet friends. i don't really have any irl ones

if i have to disappear on most socials by then, you know why.

Today is one of the hardest days we have been through in this damned war. My body has become weak. I cannot stand. There is no flour, no sugar, no food. All items are at exorbitant prices. My family and I cannot buy them. We listen every day and wait for news about an impending truce, but unfortunately there is an intensification of bombing, killing and destruction. We sleep and do not know if we will wake up or not. We wake up to the sound of strikes. All my friends and relatives were killed, some of them in their homes. We cannot get them out. Help me so that I can get out of this massacre and this ugly war. My brother is injured and cannot afford to buy medicine, and most of the time it is not available. Save us from this damned war. i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping
